Nodding and responding as a matter of course, Luffy turned to look at him and asked in confusion:
"You went back to the East Blue to see him this ti. You suddenly ntioned him to , did sothing happen to him?"
It was just a casual question, but as soon as the words fell, Garp's face gradually beca heavy.
Luffy was also startled, and he restrained the smile on his face. He sat up slowly with a look of surprise, waiting for his next words.
After holding it in for a long ti, Garp said with a heavy heart:
"Ace...is going to be a pirate!"

Garp clenched his fists, with reluctance and entanglent in his eyes.
Luffy rolled his eyes and complained in his heart.
Because he knew that in the original work, Ace did not wait until he was 18 years old, but went to sea directly at the age of 17.
And he made a na for himself in a short ti after going to sea. Even the governnt invited , hoping that he would beco one of one of the Warlords of the Sea.
But Ace refused and chose to challenge Whitebeard, but was adopted as a son by Whitebeard instead.
"So, Grampa, do you have any good plan to make him turn back from prodigal son?"
Luffy asked with amusent in his heart.
Hearing this question, Garp's tangled expression disappeared instantly.
He clenched his two huge fists with a grim smile and sneered:
"Before I left, I beat that bastard up and gave him a year to think.
If he still refuses to change his ways after a year, I will personally tie him up from the East Blue and throw him to Zephyr to teach him a lesson."
"...Good idea." Luffy praised reluctantly.
Good fellow, by the ti you get back, he will have already run away.
It's impossible to catch him.
Garp didn't know what he was thinking, and was still fantasizing.
"After Ace has received Zephyr's training and changed his idiotic idea of becoming a pirate, I want to transfer him to your ship.
Let you two brothers support and grow together."
Luffy scratched his head,"I don't mind, after all, it was quite pleasant to communicate with him in the East Blue.
But in this case, why didn't you bring him to the headquarters like I did when he was young?
If he grew up in the Marine environnt, at least he wouldn't be so resistant like he is now, right?"
"This matter is not as simple as you think."
Garp waved his hand, picked up the teacup and took a sip, and said with a complicated expression:
"Few people know about this....He is the son of Pirate King Gol D. Roger"
"Pirate King Roger!! That makes sense."
Luffy pretended to hear this news for the first ti and said in surprise:

But this is not right. I, the son of the leader of the revolutionary army, can join the Marine.
Ace should have no problem."

Garp shook his head and said bitterly:
"At first, I didn't want him to be a marine, nor a pirate.
Instead, I wanted him to grow up like an ordinary person and live his life out.
But this child has been very emotional since he was young.
After he found out that he didn't have any so-called parents, he kept asking ."
Luffy's mouth twitched,"So you told him?"
Garp closed his mouth in silence and stopped talking.
Seeing this, Luffy slapped his forehead and was speechless.
You are too honest, old man. You really just say lie..
"Then, what happened next?"
Garp put down his teacup and sighed, and continued to tell the story.
"Then he began to ask adults about their though of Roger.

After a pause, Garp suddenly scratched his head and laughed, changing the subject.
