The West Blue branch of the Marines had finished their eting in five minutes, quickly mobilizing all the currently stationed Marine soldiers.
Over five hundred personnel, a sizable force, were deployed to the port and boarded warships. The harbor was crowded with ships. Cannons were loaded and aid at the approaching pirate ship, still a distant speck on the horizon.
The commander of the First Fleet, stood on the observation platform, peering through his binoculars while communicating with other officers via a Den Den Mushi.
"Confird to be the Disco Barum pirate crew, bounty of 45 million Belly. Snipers, prepare to fire. Open fire as soon as the enemy ship enters firing range!!"
The officers on several warships issued similar orders. Captain Mozambia, his sowhat plump face serious, stared intently at the sea.
The pirate ship carrying Arthur continued to advance, entering the range of the Marine warships.
"Fire! Sink them!" Mozambia gave the order!
The warship cannons, long prepared, adjusted their trajectories.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
At least twenty cannons erupted, sending cannonballs arcing towards Arthur like scattered flowers.
Arthur, standing at the bow of the ship, smiled calmly. He watched the black iron balls hurtling towards him.
Without panicking, he raised a hand. The falling cannonballs instantly froze in mid-air.
Electromagnetic control wasn't afraid of any tallic elents. With Arthur's continued developnt, he could even extract the iron from a person's body.
The iron cannonballs, suspended in mid-air, stunned all the Marines present. However, they quickly gave the order to fire again.
These officers were almost all graduates of the Marine Headquarters' military academy. Their knowledge was naturally higher than the average person. They knew that Devil Fruit abilities were diverse and strange, so they weren't surprised. They simply assud that Disco Barum had been lucky enough to obtain a Devil Fruit.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
More cannonballs flew, a dense barrage, stopping in mid-air. This made Mozambia realize that attacking with cannons was clearly useless.
"All Marines, approach the pirate ship! Prepare for boarding action!!" he roared into the Den Den Mushi.

"Are they ever going to give up?" Arthur was annoyed that these Marines were driving warships and trying to destroy the ship he'd just managed to acquire.
His form vanished from the ship. He transford into lightning, hovering in the air above the sea.
He danced his fingers, and the suspended cannonballs flew back even faster than they had co.
"What?" Mozambia's expression was grave. He drew a fine, quick-action sword, slashing out a crescent-shaped sword energy, cutting the returning cannonballs in half and dropping them into the sea.
"Cease fire!!!"
He quickly gave the order. At the sa ti, he pulled out information and a bounty poster about the Disco Barum pirate crew from sowhere.
"Who is this young man?" Mozambia searched through all the information but found no connection between Arthur and the Disco Barum pirates. He imdiately asked his adjutant.
As a high-ranking officer, a Captain, assigned to the West Blue from Marine Headquarters, his status was actually higher than that of a Rear Admiral promoted locally from the West Blue.
It could be said that all orders for the entire West Blue had to go through his hands before they could be issued.
The naturally ambitious Mozambia, unwilling to spend his life in the West Blue, had investigated all the powerful criminals in this sea.
He didn't know that Arthur's front-facing photo hadn't been released.
"This person is not from the Disco Barum pirates. What does he want?"
Mozambia's adjutant also searched through all the information in his mind, but there wasn't a shred of information about this young man.
"Even if he's not a pirate, he must be connected to pirates!" Mozambia's expression hardened, and he made a conclusion.
From start to finish, he never thought that the West Blue's number one pirate, Disco Barum, would be killed by a young man, and that this young man was coming to collect the bounty.
"I just heard them say that Admiral Zephyr and Vice Admiral Kizaru are coming to the West Blue. Should I sink this island to intimidate them?"
Arthur hovered in the air, looking forward, but his mind was elsewhere.
Although he didn't have Armant Haki, he was extrely confident in his physique. He might not be a match for a Marine Admiral, and he might be inferior to Zephyr, but he was definitely superior to Kizaru.
Even if Kizaru was a Logia, so what? Could Kizaru catch him if he couldn't beat him? What a joke.
"Forget it. Sinking the island would be detrintal to . Besides, I killed pirates to collect their bounty!" Arthur stroked his chin, thinking.
His idea was to collect so Belly, then roam around the West Blue, before entering the Grand Line.
If he could et Zephyr, that would be even better. He could use sparring as an excuse to challenge him.
Zephyr was known for not killing, and his Armant Haki was strong. He was also the best at teaching. Perhaps Arthur could even inquire about Armant Haki training thods.

Thinking of this, Arthur picked up Disco Barum's head and flew directly towards the Marine warship.
"Careful..."
This action imdiately terrified the Marines on that warship. When they saw it was a human head flying through the air, they were shocked.
"It's Disco Barum's head?" The sharpest-eyed sniper exclaid in disbelief, instantly causing the Marines who heard him to look over.
Mozambia was the strongest and naturally had good eyesight. He looked closely, then compared it to the bounty poster, confirming it.
"Disco Barum is dead?" He was very shocked.
When he found Disco Barum, he discovered that he was evenly matched with him. Neither could do anything to the other.
That 45 million bounty was sothing he had the Marine Headquarters put out.
But now, Disco Barum's head was right in front of him.
Mozambia looked up at Arthur in the sky, wanting to see just who this person was.
"Disco Barum seed to be a wanted pirate. His head is here. When will you give the bounty?"
Arthur's form flickered. His speed was so fast that Mozambia was shocked again. He was far away one mont, and the next, he was right in front of him.
This speed... was like teleportation.
