Sowhere in the New World
A black streak tore through the sky like a cot, pausing montarily mid-air before bursting forth with even greater force, shooting toward the horizon.
Garp was in a daze, his eye sockets torn, dried streaks of bloody tears like crimson tattoos etched onto his cheeks.
Under his arm, Kizaru was covered in blood, his condition unknown.
Garp was propelling himself miles at a ti in a frenzied outburst of grief and rage.
For an entire day and night, he moved like a perpetual motion machine, never stopping as he crossed over two thousand miles from the waters of Wano Country straight to the Marine Headquarters' G-1 base in the New World!
That day, when Garp plumted from the sky onto the plaza of G-1 base with the bloodied, unconscious Kizaru in tow, the entire Marine Headquarters erupted in chaos!
The shrill alarms of G-1 base blared incessantly as elite soldiers poured out from every corner, swiftly securing every inch of the headquarters.
The plaza, the inner bay, the outer sea—even the distant waters—were patrolled by massive warships, leaving no suspicious vessel unchecked.
Officers cloaked in the mantle of justice, their faces tense with disbelief and fury, stord into the Marine's highest conference hall.
The room was packed with hardened, furious faces—powerful Marine officers one and all.
Every gaze was fixed on the center of the hall.
There lay Admiral Kizaru, drenched in blood, his bones twisted unnaturally, unconscious.
And beside him—the invincible Marine legend, the Hero Garp—his eyes shut tight, his life force flickering like a candle in the wind, on the verge of extinguishing.
Beneath his eyes were two streaks of bloody tears.
"Who can tell what the hell happened?!"
Vice Admiral Tsuru, the legendary Marine strategist, had completely shed her usual composure.
Cradling Garp head, she roared at everyone present.
Under her piercing glare, even the mightiest officers dared not et her eyes.
BANG!
The doors of the hall were flung open as Fleet Admiral Akainu barged in, white steam billowing off his body, his expression frantic.
Behind him trailed several masked CP0 agents and Admiral Fujitora, leaning on his cane-sword.
"Borsalino! Garp! How—how could this happen?!"
At the sight of the two figures on the floor, Akainu vision darkened.
His towering fra swayed, nearly collapsing.
Tsuru shot to her feet, strode up to Akainu and—to the shock of everyone present—slapped him across the face with a resounding crack!
The hall fell dead silent.
Tsuru chest heaved violently, her frosty expression trembling with fury as she pointed at Akainu and scread.
"Sakazuki! What mission did you assign them?! Why did it co to this?! Where is Sengoku?! Five warships set out—not a single one returned! Where is Aramaki?! Why are Garp and Borsalino in this state?!"
Despite being struck and berated, Akainu didn't retaliate.
Instead, he gritted his teeth, his eyes red, before letting out a furious roar to the room.
"Where are the doctors?! Where the hell are the dics?! If they don't show up soon, I'll personally Kill them!"
As soon as the words were spoken, several white-coated dical personnel rushed into the hall, sweating profusely and panting heavily, their eyes darting toward Akainu.
Akainu flew into a rage, raising a fist that stead with molten magma.
"What are you staring at for?! Get Vice Admiral Garp and Borsalino treated imdiately!"
The dics trembled in fear, their legs shaking as they dropped to their knees beside Kizaru and Garp to examine their injuries.
In the hall, aside from the sounds of the dics at work, no one dared to even breathe loudly.
After a long while, the lead doctor looked up, wiping sweat from his brow and said.
"They're not in imdiate danger. Admiral Kizaru injuries are more severe—most of his muscles and bones are torn and shattered. He needs to be taken to the dical bay for further treatnt. Vice Admiral Garp condition is more complicated. His vitality is severely depleted, but he has no visible injuries. I suspect he must have overexerted himself, pushing his power to the limit, which caused physical exhaustion. The Marines specially developed dicine should be able to repair Vice Admiral Garp physical damage and bring him back to consciousness."
Akainu imdiately snapped "Then what are we waiting for?! Send soone to take Borsalino to the dical bay right now and give Garp the dicine! We need to know exactly what happened!"
"NO!"
Tsuru's face was ashen as she glared at Akainu with such fury that even he instinctively recoiled.
Looking at Garp aged face, which bore traces of pain and sorrow, Tsuru seed to have guessed sothing.
Her eyes reddened slightly as she coldly declared.
"You all know the dicine is a quick fix—it's for ergencies, not treatnt! Garp is already in this state. We can't risk any further damage to him. Have the best dical team take over and treat his injuries with the safest thods possible!"
"But... that will take a lot of ti" the lead dic tried to explain, but Tsuru icy stare silenced him instantly.
Tsuru turned her cold gaze to the masked CP0 agents nearby and commanded.
"You lot—get back to the World Governnt right now. Tell the Five Elders and the Celestial Dragons to send the best dics from Mary Geoise to treat Garp and Kizaru!"
Her tone was ironclad, leaving no room for argunt—an order, not a request.
"You—!" One of the masked n spat out an angrily before his companion yanked him back.
In an instant, the entire hall—everyone present, including Akainu and Fujitora—fixed the CP0 agents with murderous glares.
The overwhelming killing intent made them tremble uncontrollably.
"Rest assured, Vice Admiral Tsuru! We'll return to Mary Geoise at once and carry out your orders without fail!" a tall masked agent stamred nervously, dragging his stiff companion away in disgrace.
After the dics had taken Garp and Kizaru away, everyone in the hall turned their attention back to Akainu.
"Sakazuki" Tsuru said gravely.
"start by telling us—what mission were they sent out to carry out this ti?"
Akainu expression darkened as he scanned the crowd.
After a long pause, he finally spoke "They went to the waters outside Wano Country. Earlier, I received a call from Aramaki Den Den Mushi. But the person speaking on the other end was a man who called himself Caesar."
Tsuru frowned. "Caesar? Wano Country? Could it be... Kaido older brother, the Demon Caesar?"
"Kaido brother?" The hall imdiately erupted in murmurs.
Akainu glanced at Tsuru and nodded.
"That's right. The Demon Caesar himself. He said Aramaki was in his custody. Since we didn't know the full situation, Sengoku suggested sending Kizaru, Garp and himself to lead five battleships and position them outside Wano Country's waters. They'll wait for their targets to erge before executing the capture plan."
