Looking up, he saw Law silently rise from his own crater, drawing his cursed blade, Kikoku.

Kid was about to say more when he noticed an enormous, bottomless pit had ford in the ground before them.
The shape of the crater resembled a massive, horned humanoid figure—colossal beyond asure.
Kid stiffened. The scene felt eerily familiar.
Had he experienced this before?

Finally, it ca back to him.
Back in the New World, on a small island, right after he had ford an alliance with Hawkins and Apoo, they had encountered Kaido—who had leaped from ten thousand ters in the sky!

To prevent Caesar from evading Kid's attack, Law instantly expanded a massive energy field, enveloping all three of them.
