"After this consumption, my killing points are almost exhausted again."
Lucifer looked at the properties panel and shook his head slightly. His journey to earn killing points would start again.
"What!!!!"
At that mont, a scream pierced through the air outside.
"Murderer!"
"It's a murderer!!!"
"The murderer has appeared! Run away!!!"
Lucifer opened the window and glanced towards the street, only to see dozens of pirates fleeing in a panic, each wearing a terrified expression, as if so beast were chasing them.
Whoosh!
A whirlwind swept by.
Blood spurted from the pirates one by one, and they let out horrific screams. That gust of wind seed to have a life of its own, desperate to kill.
After the strong wind blew, dozens of pirates fell into a pool of blood.
These pirates died in horror, their bodies riddled with sword wounds. So were as few as a dozen, while others numbered nearly a hundred, as if they had been subjected to Lingchi, the death by a thousand cuts.
It all happened so quickly. So of these pirates didn't even have a chance to react before being struck down by the violent wind. The rest tried to escape, but the murderer was in hot pursuit.
As the fierce wind rushed past, more than a dozen pirates t their end.
"This thod is very similar to soone I know."
Lucifer observed the gale wreaking havoc on the street, and a figure erged in his mind.
That's right; it wasn't the wind that was killing, but a person.
Lucifer's Observation Haki clearly sensed that the wind was a manifestation of human prowess. The speed and swordsmanship were so rapid that it appeared as if a gust of wind were slicing through the air.
Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!
The wind howled as flashes of sword light illuminated the street, and vacuum slashes flew everywhere. Soon, the marble streets and the houses lining them bore deep sword marks.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, the gust of wind darted past, teleporting directly to Lucifer.
In the blink of an eye, a long sword was already slashing towards his neck.
"The Wall of Vacuum!"
An invisible, transparent wall appeared before Lucifer, blocking the strike.
The true form of the murderer, Kuangfeng, revealed itself—a ferocious and terrifying maniac with a manic grin.
"It really is him."
Lucifer recognized the figure before him. There was only one person who could possess such fast swordsmanship and kill under the cover of night—Cavendish, the White Horse.
Lucifer recalled that Cavendish ultimately beca a mber of the Straw Hats in the original story. He had a dual personality and suffered from murderous sleepwalking. When he slept and dread, his second personality, Hakuba, would erge, characterized by extre cruelty and bloodlust.
Cavendish himself was a powerful swordsman, and when transford into Hakuba, his skills beca even more formidable. Due to his nurous kills, he had been dubbed "Roml's weasel" by the Marines and expelled from his own country for his blood-soaked past.
(In the original story, Cavendish entered the New World in 1519; currently, it is 1516, so he is set in the first half of the Grand Line.)
"Is this guy here just to join the chaos?"
Lucifer flicked his fingers, and the wall of vacuum promptly sent Cavendish flying. His body crashed into a building across the street, reducing it to ruins.
Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!
A flurry of sword lights erupted, slicing through the wreckage.
Cavendish sprang out from the debris with an even more manic expression, his smile widening.
Hakuba, his bloodthirsty second personality, craved battle. The stronger the opponent, the more excited Hakuba beca.
Whoosh!
In a flash, Hakuba charged toward Lucifer again.
"I don't like fighting crazy people!"
Lucifer raised his palm and waved it lightly. "Gravity Crush!"
With a thunderous crash, gravity manifested out of nowhere, enveloping Hakuba and slamming him to the ground.
The center of the street caved in, forming a large circular pit.
Hakuba was pinned down, unable to move.
Lucifer descended from the sky and landed beside Hakuba.
With a flick of his finger, the gravity intensified once more.
Puff!
Hakuba coughed up a mouthful of blood, his eyes rolling back.
Injured gravely, Hakuba fell into a deep slumber, his wild, fearful expression replaced by Cavendish's original form.
Lucifer released the gravity and kicked Cavendish away.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Cavendish barreled through three buildings in succession, ultimately being buried under the rubble.
Lucifer chose not to kill him; Cavendish's aura still lingered. He was one of the crew mbers Lucifer planned to recruit.
This guy had significant potential, and it would be a pity to kill him like this.
"Ah!!! It hurts so much! Who dares to touch my handso face?"
(Cavendish often refers to himself as "the son.")
Cavendish erged from the ruins, clutching his right cheek, his mouth full of sharp fangs.
His right cheek had swollen from Lucifer's kick, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, with several teeth missing.
Cavendish's personality was completely different from Hakuba's—he was talkative and humorous, as well as extrely narcissistic, caring more about his appearance than his life.
"You bastard! Are you Lucifer? Did you do this? How dare you hurt my handso face?"
Cavendish noticed Lucifer standing on the street and charged at him aggressively.
However, at that mont, several flying swords shot out, aiming directly at Cavendish.
Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!
Cavendish froze, not daring to move, as a few drops of cold sweat trickled down his forehead.
