Shua! Shua! Shua!
Fujitora swung his blade through the air, sending a circle of purple light surging into the sky. In an instant, it pierced through the clouds and disappeared into the heavens.
Seeing this, the surrounding Marine soldiers imdiately scattered.
They knew that when Admiral Fujitora made a move, it was never anything ordinary.
Huff! Huff! Huff!
A fierce gust of wind howled through the battlefield. Tezoro lifted his head and noticed a small red dot appearing amidst the clouds.
The dot rapidly grew larger until its true form was revealed—a massive teorite, over 300 ters in diater, burning with raging flas as it hurtled toward the battlefield.
Normally, Fujitora wouldn't summon sothing of this magnitude, but against the Nether Pirates, he wasn't holding back.
Tezoro, however, didn't flinch. Instead, his laughter echoed through the battlefield.
"Yes! That's it!" he roared with excitent. "Only this level of power is worthy of a Marine Admiral!"
"Golden Divine Fire!"
Controlling the massive golden giant, Tezoro threw a punch at the incoming teorite.
Boom!
A violent shockwave erupted. The sheer heat from the explosion turned the surrounding area into a fiery wasteland.
The teorite shattered into countless fragnts, disintegrating in a blinding blaze of destruction.
"Golden Divine Fire!"
Without missing a beat, Tezoro launched another attack, unleashing golden laser beams at Admiral Fujitora.
Blasts of searing energy intertwined with the golden giant's punches, each strike leaving devastation in its wake.
Yet, Fujitora moved swiftly, soaring through the air atop levitating boulders, narrowly dodging Tezoro's relentless assault.
At the sa ti, he retaliated with powerful gravitational slashes aid directly at the golden giant.
But the golden construct was simply too large and too durable. Even as it absorbed Fujitora's attacks head-on, it barely showed signs of damage.
For a while, their battle remained locked in a deadlock.
anwhile, the rest of the battlefield was in utter chaos.
The Marine Admirals were all preoccupied, unable to advance toward Lucifer.
Marine Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals had also entered the fray, clashing fiercely with the Nether Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates.
With the Marines joining the fight, the pressure on the Whitebeard Pirates montarily eased, but the battlefield beca even more perilous.
After all, the Marines weren't allies. On this battlefield, there were no friends—only enemies.
On the other side, the Warlord of the Sea, Dracule Mihawk—better known as Hawkeye—finally made his move.
Taking a step forward, he unsheathed the massive black blade from his back.
Yoru—one of the Twelve Supre Grade Swords, the only known black blade among them, and the legendary weapon wielded by the world's greatest swordsman.
The mont Mihawk drew his blade, both Marines and pirates turned to watch.
Even among the Seven Warlords, Hawkeye's title as the strongest swordsman carried more weight.
His record spoke for itself. He had once dueled Red-Haired Shanks—even after Shanks lost an arm, their battles remained inconclusive.
Clang!
With a single swing, Mihawk unleashed a trendous flying slash.
The slash radiated an intense, icy brilliance, forcing countless warriors on the battlefield to squint or shield their eyes.
"Run! Hawkeye's slash is coming!"
"We'll be cut in half!"
"We're dead if it hits us!"
Marines and pirates alike scattered in panic.
This was the slash of the world's greatest swordsman. Even the aftermath alone was deadly—anyone caught in it would be shredded to pieces.
The flying slash tore through the air, covering thousands of ters in an instant, cutting straight toward Lucifer.
"Coming right for ?" Lucifer muttered, slightly surprised.
He had expected Mihawk to target Whitebeard, but instead, the swordsman had chosen him.
The Red Earl took a step forward, ready to intercept, but Lucifer raised a hand to stop him.
"No need. Not yet."
As soon as the words left his mouth, a dark figure appeared in front of him—right at the point where the slash was about to strike.
Clang!
A crimson slash blood in the air, clashing directly with Mihawk's attack.
The two sword strikes exploded upon impact, shattering into countless smaller blades of energy that shot off in every direction.
From within the chaos, the shadowed figure stepped forward, revealing a sinister grin as he bit down on a cigar.
Shiryu of the Rain.
Despite devouring the Blood-Blood Fruit, Shiryu remained a swordsman at heart.
And as a swordsman, there was no greater challenge than Dracule Mihawk.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Shiryu moved through the air, his blood-red aura pulsing around him. He charged straight toward Mihawk, eyes filled with murderous intent.
"If you want to touch the captain," he growled, gripping his blade tightly, "then you'll have to get through first!"
A blade descended, unleashing a hundred-ter slash of sword energy.
Hawkeye raised his black blade horizontally, blocking the attack before countering with a sweeping slash.
Waves of dark sword energy roared forward like a relentless tsunami.
Wherever the slashes passed, both Marines and pirates alike felt their scalps tingle with fear.
Cold sweat dripped from many as they instinctively touched their heads, making sure they were still attached to their necks.
Boom!
A deafening explosion echoed in the distance. As the battlefield turned their gazes toward the source of the sound, they saw a distant mountain severed in half. The upper portion soared into the sky, its cut surface smooth as a mirror.
"This... this is the strength of the world's greatest swordsman!"
Countless onlookers were left dumbfounded, their expressions frozen in disbelief.
Only now did they truly comprehend the aning of "world's number one swordsman."
With just a single swing, he could slice through a mountain!
"Unbelievable! He truly lives up to his reputation!"
Seeing this display of power, Shiryu of the Rain's battle spirit burned even fiercer. A chilling murderous aura erupted from his body, sending shivers down the spines of those nearby.
Without hesitation, the two top swordsn clashed in a ferocious duel.
Blades flashed. Sword energy surged.
Their movents were so fast that, within re monts, they had exchanged hundreds—no, thousands—of blows.
With them at the center, an area spanning over a kiloter beca a danger zone.
Flying sword slashes tore through the battlefield, splitting the earth and shattering massive rock formations.
A single misstep ant instant death.
Lucifer observed the distant battle and smirked. "It seems Shiryu is enjoying himself. At the very least, Hawkeye won't be interfering with us."
Red Earl Ryder, standing beside him, nodded in approval. "That young man is truly capable—worthy of his title as the world's number one swordsman."
As soone who had once stood at the pinnacle of swordsmanship, Red Earl Ryder had few rivals in his era. Even by his own high standards, he found no flaws in Hawkeye's technique.
With Mihawk occupied by Shiryu, another battle between two won erupted on the battlefield.
Catarina Devon, the Crescent Moon Hunter, had her sights set on Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress.
Perhaps it was an instinctual rivalry, but from the mont they laid eyes on each other, sparks flew.
"I heard you're the most beautiful woman in the world, but you don't look like much to ," Catarina sneered.
"Hmph! You dare speak so arrogantly before my royal self?" Hancock scoffed, tilting her head high with disdain.
It was her signature habit—to look down upon others. However, this ti, she tilted her head back so far that she nearly ended up looking up.
There was no one else in the One Piece world who could pull off such a movent besides the Empress herself.
"ro ro llow!"
With a graceful motion, Hancock ford a heart shape with her hands and unleashed a beam of heart-shaped energy toward Catarina.
Yet, to her shock, the expected petrification never ca.
Catarina, unaffected, simply smirked coldly.
"Impossible! There exists soone who isn't swayed by my beauty?"
A blow struck deep into Hancock's pride. Her chest tightened, and for the first ti, she felt an unfamiliar sense of unease.
"Hehehehe..."
Catarina let out a chilling laugh. "Ah, so it's so sort of charm-based ability? How amusing."
As she spoke, nine fluffy tails sprouted from her back.
With a slow, deliberate sway, they released waves of pink, enchanting light.
A strange fragrance perated the battlefield.
The mont Marines and pirates inhaled the scent, their faces flushed red, their eyes glazed over.
So grinned lecherously, drool dripping from the corners of their mouths.
Others swayed and stumbled, reaching out toward the nearest person as if they had just encountered the love of their life.
Even won weren't spared—caught in the spell, they too showed signs of intoxication.
Catarina had consud the Mythical Zoan Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Nine-Tailed Fox—a power granting her an ability similar to Hancock's, but with an added layer of illusionary manipulation.
Charm abilities were useless against her.
At the sa ti, her own charm attacks had no effect on Boa Hancock.
Hancock remained unaffected, completely unshaken by the fragrance in the air.
At that mont, she finally understood why Catarina had said their abilities were incompatible.
Both of them wielded charm-based powers. Both were won.
They were natural-born enemies.
"Hmph! Do not compare my royal self with a woman like you!" Hancock declared, raising her chin haughtily.
"Even without my Devil Fruit, my beauty is absolute!"
