So powerful pirates managed to protect themselves and, after leaving the core area of the battlefield, found safe spots to watch the ongoing chaos.

Both the lightning giant and the golden giant displayed strength that left everyone stunned.

"Thor Enel, with a bounty of 1,028,000,000 berries—seeing him in action today truly lives up to his reputation."

"He's a Logia Thunder-Thunder Fruit user, and his abilities rival those of a Marine Admiral!"

"I heard he held his own against Admiral Kizaru during the Impel Down battle. Though he lost, it took hundreds of moves for Kizaru to defeat him. His strength is terrifying!"

"And this is just one of Lucifer's crew. That man has too many monsters under his command."

"Look! The Golden Emperor is on the verge of collapse!"

Suddenly, gasps erupted from the crowd.

High in the sky, the lightning giant unleashed a massive lightning spear that tore through the golden giant's armor and pierced straight through its chest.

The spear radiated an intense, blinding light before exploding with a deafening boom.

The massive golden giant, over 100 ters tall, shattered into pieces. Tezoro, hidden in its cockpit, was thrown out by the explosion.

Covered in wounds and drenched in blood, Tezoro hit the golden ground with a heavy thud. One of his hands and a foot were twisted and deford, rendering him almost crippled.

"Yahahaha! Golden bastard, is this all you've got?"

The lightning giant roared with wild laughter and waved its hand, summoning four more lightning spears.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The spears moved as fast as lightning, pinning Tezoro's limbs to the ground.

Tezoro let out a piercing scream that sent chills down the spines of everyone who heard it.

"The Golden Emperor... he's been defeated!"

"That was too fast. Their strength isn't even on the sa level."

"If just one Thor Enel is this terrifying, how terrifying must the Four Emperors Lucifer be?"

At the edge of the Golden City, the spectators were utterly dumbfounded.

With a final, thunderous crack, the lightning armor around Enel dissipated. He reverted to his normal form and gracefully descended to the ground.

By now, the fighting elsewhere had ceased.

Cavendish, Guysa, and Baby5 had defeated their opponents, leaving the Golden Emperor's crew utterly defeated.

Lucifer calmly placed his knife and fork down, rose from his seat, and strolled toward Tezoro.

Standing before the fallen Golden Emperor, Lucifer gazed down with cold, indifferent eyes.

"How about it, Tezoro? Do you still think you can fight back now?"

Tezoro gritted his teeth, enduring the intense pain that wracked his body. He glared at Lucifer with defiant eyes, but his defiance quickly crumbled into fear.

Finally, he closed his eyes and said three words slowly, "I surrender."

"Good," Lucifer said with a faint smile. "That's the choice of a wise man."

He gestured to Enel, who imdiately dispersed the lightning spears pinning Tezoro to the ground.

Lucifer then raised his hand, releasing a fla ray from his fingertips. The ray shot toward the tallest tower of the Golden City, leaving behind the symbol of a grinning devil scorched into its walls.

"From today onward, the Golden City is under the command of the Nether Pirates," Lucifer declared.

He turned back to Tezoro. "Prepare the Golden City to sail to Totto Land imdiately."

Dragging his heavily injured body upright, Tezoro lowered his head and replied weakly, "Understood. It will be done."

Seeing Tezoro's submission, Enel laughed mockingly. "I thought you were tougher than this, but you broke down so quickly. How boring."

"It's really not fun at all," Enel said with a disappointed shrug.

He glanced at the Golden City beneath his feet, a glimr of greed flashing in his eyes. If Tezoro hadn't surrendered, Enel would have had the perfect excuse to kill him and take control of the city himself.

"What a sha. What a pity," Enel muttered, shaking his head in mock regret.

Tezoro's face twisted with hatred as he watched Enel.

Why does this lunatic want dead so badly?

What did I ever do to him?

Tezoro couldn't comprehend Enel's animosity. The only explanation he could think of was simple envy:

No one is guilty, but possessing treasure makes them a target.

While Lucifer was conquering the Golden Emperor Tezoro, other mbers of the Nether Pirates were far from idle.

They had already begun hunting down the lairs of other underground kings, launching devastating attacks to cent Lucifer's dominance.

New World—Yoss Island. This was the territory of the usurer king, Ferud, and the core of his operations.

Ferud controlled over 80% of the usury industry in the underground world, making him the creditor of tens of millions. His wealth and influence were unparalleled in this shadowy domain.

The defenses on Yoss Island were airtight, teeming with powerful guards. Even pirates with bounties exceeding 300 million berries wouldn't dare to set foot there.

But today, the island faced an unprecedented invasion.

With just one ship and fewer than a thousand n, the Nether Pirates breached Yoss Island's defenses.

Boom!

A magnificent palace at the island's center crumbled to rubble, burying hundreds alive in the wreckage. Whether they survived was a mystery.

Standing atop a tall building, Shiryu of the Rain looked down at the destruction beneath his feet, a satisfied smirk on his face.

Amidst the ruins, debris suddenly erupted as a figure erged in a panic—it was Ferud, the infamous loan shark king.

"Shiryu of the Rain! What's the aning of this? I've never wronged you! Why are you attacking ?" Ferud bellowed, his bloodshot eyes filled with fury.

Out of the corner of his eye, he surveyed the rest of Yoss Island. The devastation was unimaginable. His forces were in shambles, and the island had nearly fallen entirely.

Shiryu took a drag from his cigar, exhaled a smoke ring, and said indifferently, "In the New World, only the strong survive. Do you really need a reason to kill?"

"Ferud, as a loan shark, you should know better than to be so naive."

Ferud's face twisted in anger and despair. "Lucifer... It's Lucifer, isn't it? The Nether Pirates are behind this!"

"Why? I've done nothing to offend Lucifer! In fact, I've even shown him respect!"

Ferud couldn't understand why Lucifer would target him. Since Big Mom's death, he had gone out of his way to establish a cooperative relationship with the Nether Pirates.

Calling it "cooperation" wasn't accurate—Ferud paid enormous tributes to Lucifer annually, while receiving nothing in return. It was simply the cost of survival in the New World, where befriending one of the Four Emperors was the only way to avoid annihilation.

He had even been the first to curry favor with Lucifer, hoping to earn his protection. Yet here he was, being slaughtered.

Cursing inwardly, Ferud thought, MMP, taking my money and then killing ? This is too much!

Shiryu sneered. "Captain Lucifer believes there are too many underground kings in the New World. From now on, one is enough—the Nether Pirates."

Ferud's eyes widened in horror. "You... you an..."

"That's right," Shiryu said coldly. "Not just you—none of the others will escape."

With those words, Shiryu suddenly moved.

The blade of his infamous sword, Thunderstorm, glowed ominously as countless blood-red slashes tore through the air.

These weren't ordinary slashes—they were infused with the sinister power of the Logia Blood-Blood Fruit.

The crimson slashes moved with terrifying speed. Ferud had no ti to dodge.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

In an instant, Ferud's body was shredded into pieces, reduced to a pile of flesh and bone.

Strangely, not a single drop of blood spilled from his remains. It was as if his blood had evaporated into thin air.

This was the horrifying power of the Blood-Blood Fruit—a Logia ability that made killing as clean as it was cruel.

"The Blood-Blood Fruit truly suits ," Shiryu said, gazing at the remains of Ferud. His blood-red pupils glead with a bloodthirsty light, and an insatiable urge to kill surged within him.

"It's been a while since I've slaughtered... You're getting hungry too, aren't you?" Shiryu muttered to himself, addressing his blade, Thunderstorm.

Whoosh!

A shadow flickered, and Shiryu vanished from the rooftop.

Monts later, screams echoed across Yoss Island.

The blood slashes continued to rain down, cutting through the air and decimating everything in their path.

Ferud's subordinates fled for their lives, but none escaped the deadly slashes. Each one fell, their corpses transford into mummified husks—terrifying and grotesque.

On that day, Yoss Island beca a bloodless graveyard. The entirety of Ferud's organization was eradicated. Not a single soul was spared, and yet, not a drop of blood remained on the island. It was the cleanest massacre ever witnessed.

After the slaughter, Shiryu began organizing his n to seize Ferud's assets.

Lucifer's orders were simple—whoever defeated the target was responsible for taking over their wealth and operations.

From that mont on, the usury industry of the underground world was absorbed into the Nether Pirates.

Shiryu of the Rain beca the new loan shark king of the dark underworld.
