"Mom, he's so strong!"

Weevil staggered back, his massive blade trembling violently from the clash with Vane's fist. Though his weapon resembled Whitebeard's great naginata, it was far inferior—rely a large sword with durability slightly above ordinary steel.

"Weevil, be careful! Use every bit of your strength against him!" Bakkin scread from where she was half-buried in the ship's wall. Her voice cracked with fear. The man before them wasn't just strong—he was one of the most powerful beings in the world. She could tell that Vane wasn't playing with them. If he chose to strike, it would be with lethal intent.

Bakkin feared death—her own, not Weevil's. He wasn't her son. He was nothing more than a weapon she molded, a fool she exploited to gain power and wealth. If he died, she could not keep up her farce.

"Mom, I'll smash him!" Weevil roared in his dull, childlike tone. His intellect was stunted, but his body was terrifying. His monstrous physique and unnatural talent made him a true demon in combat.

The towering man, nearly seven ters tall, swung his sword again. The slash descended like a bolt of lightning, air hissing around the blade.

Vane hovered a few inches above the deck. Calmly, he drew back his fist, Haki flowing around it, and unleashed the devastating power of the [Tremor Fruit].

"That power… it's the Quake-Quake Fruit!" Bakkin shrieked. Her mories of Whitebeard's overwhelming might resurfaced instantly, filling her with terror.

"Die, brat!" Weevil bellowed. He didn't understand what a Yonko was, or what it ant to stand against one. To him, there were only three figures in his world—his mother, Bakkin, his so-called father Whitebeard, and anyone else who dared oppose them. And enemies were ant to be killed. Always.

The collision shook the seas.

A deafening boom erupted as the two forces clashed, a spherical shockwave blasting outward. The deck splintered into a massive crater beneath them. Weevil's legs buckled as if hamred into the earth, while Vane remained suspended, untouched by the collapsing wood and steel.

The entire warship groaned. Its fra cracked, seawater churned violently, and even the waves trembled.

Vane's power had grown beyond what it once was. Though he had not yet fully awakened the [Tremor Fruit], his mastery had reached a level that rivaled Whitebeard in his pri.

Weevil's sword was not equal to the task.

Cracks spread along the blade like spiderwebs, fracturing under the overwhelming quake force.

"My… my sword… no way…" Weevil's eyes widened as the weapon that had followed him through countless battles betrayed him. The hilt quivered in his grip, numbing his hands.

"Did you think this blade could cut the sky?" Vane's voice cut cold through the chaos. "Do you really believe you're Whitebeard's son?"

With a sharp twist of his arm, Vane unleashed another burst of quake power. The sword could take no more.

Bang!

The blade exploded into fragnts, shards raining across the bloodstained deck like shattered glass.

"My sword!!! AHHHH!" Weevil roared in blind rage, his face twisting with madness.

Bakkin gasped in disbelief. It was the first ti she had ever seen Weevil overpowered. His so-called weapon of destruction had been obliterated by a single punch.

Fueled by fury, Weevil leapt high into the air, his enormous fra shaking the ship beneath him. The surrounding sea rippled with waves as he swung down the broken hilt like a massive club, his brute strength shaking the heavens.

"Even the hilt will shatter!" Bakkin scread.

Vane rose to et him. His fist glowed, layered with Armant Haki and the quake's violent power. If they dared call themselves Whitebeard's kin, then he would show them what that truly ant.

The impact was cataclysmic.

The broken hilt t Vane's quake-infused strike, and the weapon vibrated violently under the sheer pressure. Cracks split across the handle with horrifying speed.

"Mom! He's too strong!" Weevil howled, straining with every ounce of his monstrous strength to keep his weapon steady. His body quivered under the relentless shockwaves.

Crack!

The hilt snapped in two. Splinters scattered across the deck.

"My weapon!" Weevil's voice broke. He could not comprehend the loss of the only tool he had relied on his entire life. His anger boiled over, clouding his already dull mind.

Vane wasted no ti. He shot forward through the air, closing the distance instantly.

Looking at Weevil's slack-jawed expression, he didn't hesitate. His fist, blackened with Haki, drove straight into the man's face.
