The Goa Kingdom was getting smaller in the distance as the Marine's 153rd Branch Warship cut through the Southern Sea.

Inside the ship's training room, Zoro, still in his rookie uniform, was drenched in sweat. He strained, lifting a heavy barbell sword over and over. He wasn't a full-fledged Marine yet, just a logistics crew mber responsible for keeping the training room clean. To stay on the ship permanently, he needed an official identity; otherwise, the other Marines would start to complain.

Roya was training alongside him, focused and intense.

Suddenly, a ssenger burst into the room, shouting, "Major Roya, Windmill Village is just ahead!"

"Understood," Roya replied, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Zoro, clean yourself up. You're coming with when we disembark."

"Got it," Zoro said, setting the barbell down with a thud.

Life on the warship was definitely more satisfying than his days as a bounty hunter. Regular hours, guaranteed food, no need to worry about survival - just pure, focused training with a bit of cleaning thrown in. Sure, it was ten tis harder than his previous life, but this hardship ca with rewards. The feeling of growing stronger filled him with excitent.

I want to beco stronger! he thought.

Soon, the 153rd Branch Warship was docked beside the smaller, dog-head warship.

The villagers of Windmill Village watched with curiosity as the Marines arrived. The Village Chief stepped forward to greet them, recognizing the warship's markings.

They're here to see Garp , he realized.

"I am the Village Chief of Windmill Village," he announced.

"Hello, Village Chief, we're from the 153rd Branch," Roya responded politely. "We heard that Vice Admiral Garp is ho on leave. Colonel Rhodes sent us to offer our greetings. Could you tell us where Vice Admiral Garp resides?"

"Follow ," the Village Chief said, leading the way.

East Blue was a peaceful place, and the relationship between the Marines and the people was generally good. While there were a few bad apples, most Marines cared about the safety of the citizens, and the villagers trusted them.

Roya and a few of his n followed the Village Chief to a simple, ordinary-looking house.

Of course, Garp wasn't there.

The Village Chief sighed inwardly. Garp's probably off in the mountains with those bandits again! It was an embarrassnt for the Marines, and he couldn't let these outsiders know.

"Officer..."

"My na is Roya, Major of the 153rd Branch," Roya said with a smile. It seed his na hadn't reached this quiet village yet.

"Major Roya," the Village Chief said apologetically, "Vice Admiral Garp is away from ho at the mont. Perhaps you could rest at Makino's Bar? I'll be sure to pass on your ssage when he returns."

"Thank you very much," Roya said, unfazed. I'd be surprised if Garp was actually ho.

They headed to Makino's Bar.

---

"Welco!" Makino, the landlady, greeted them with enthusiasm. Windmill Village was poor, and the villagers didn't have much money. The bar only made a real profit when outsiders ca to visit.

"Hello, please prepare so food and drinks for us," Roya said, sitting at the bar, lost in thought. That Red Hair guy sat right here and got beat up by that Mountain Bandit King, huh? Quite the generous soul.

Fullbody sat next to Roya, a wine glass in his hand, looking confused. "Major, why do you seem so calm?"

"Calm?" Roya asked, not understanding.

"Too calm!" Jango chid in, his face flushed with excitent. "Even when I was a pirate, I admired Hero Garp. Just thinking about eting him makes tremble!"

" too!" Fullbody echoed, waving his fist. "My idol since I was a kid has been Vice Admiral Garp. I even wear these Iron Fist Gauntlets to be like him!"

Hero Garp. The Marine with the most prestige. Period. There were countless legends about him. Most Marines grew up hearing stories of his amazing feats, and many joined the Marines because they admired him. Garp was the Marine's spiritual leader!

Zoro, as usual, picked the wrong ti to speak. "Is he really that great?"

"You bastard! What kind of attitude is that?!" Fullbody and Jango exploded. One pinned Zoro down, while the other squeezed his neck.

"Apologize! Apologize to Mr. Garp!"

"Let go! I can't breathe!" The three of them tumbled around in a chaotic ss.

Roya smiled, picked up his wine glass, and took a small sip. Calm, huh? He was indeed very calm at the mont. When he first learned he would et Garp, he was excited, hoping to learn so new skills, especially the Six Styles.

But that excitent didn't last.

During his training, he realized that he and Garp were different. He couldn't be as dedicated as Garp. He wasn't that selfless. His reason for joining the Marines was to make a na for himself, to achieve fa and fortune, to stand at the top of the world.

In his opinion, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Vice Admiral Garp, and Admiral Aokiji's faction were too gentle, their morality and responsibility holding them back. He actually admired Akainu's radical approach. Of course, he didn't approve of killing innocent people or pointing his gun at his own subordinates. He had his limits.

He simply liked the radical approach! Pirates, the World Governnt, the Marines, the kingdoms ruled by nobles - the world was rotten from top to bottom. Especially the Celestial Dragons who ruled the world.

Only "evil" can defeat "evil"! Roya truly believed that following the path of Garp and Fleet Admiral Sengoku was pointless. They would end up as puppets, or like Garp, just playing their own ga, or even worse, like Aokiji, retiring in disappointnt.

The higher one climbed, the more deeply entrenched the problems beca. Only by becoming the "most evil" person, the one who broke the rules and made new ones, could he stand at the very top of the world.

"Justice to reign over the World." That was the Justice that Fleet Admiral Sengoku believed in. Perhaps he should be the one to realize this Justice!

Roya's lips curled into a smile as he finished his wine in one gulp.

"Major,"

"Hmm?" Roya turned to see Fullbody and the others staring at him.

"What's wrong?"

"No, nothing!" They shook their heads in unison. For so reason, they felt a sudden chill from the Major, as if they were being watched by a terrifying beast. It was hair-raising!

Clang!

Suddenly, a sound ca from behind the bar. The three quickly turned and were shocked to see Makino had fainted. A wine glass rolled on the floor, wine spilled everywhere.

"Miss Makino!" They rushed to help Makino into a chair. After a mont, she woke up in a daze.

"Miss Makino, are you alright?"

"Ugh... I'm fine," Makino said, covering her head, still dizzy. Her mory was hazy, but it felt like she had been hit on the head. My head is so dizzy!
