"It's Cavendish!" soone yelled.
"Stop him, now!" another voice scread.
"Aaaah!"
The sounds of pain echoed around them.
Cavendish, now taken over by his other, darker personality, was like a ghost. He appeared and vanished in a blink, cutting down guards without rcy.
Shalria, seeing Saint Rosward wounded and the disgusting Fresh Blood splattered on her face, turned white as a sheet.
"Aaaah!!!"
Her scream was like a knife, cutting through the air of the Concert Venue.
But her scream didn't help. It just drew Cavendish's attention. His dark, empty eyes locked onto her.
Thwack!
A flash of silver!
In a heartbeat, Shalria's fancy clothes were ripped to shreds. Her entire body was covered in bloody cuts, dozens of them.
When Cavendish appeared again, Shalria was on the ground in rags, barely alive.
"Clap! Clap! Clap!"
Roya stood on the stage, clapping with a pleased look.
He's even better than I thought! he mused.
But the cuts were too shallow.
He could tell that Cavendish, in his dark state, wasn't trying to kill his victims. He was enjoying the bloody fun.
People in this world are tough. Small cuts don't kill unless you hit the heart or head.
A good beheading would do the trick, he thought.
"Huh?"
Cavendish suddenly turned, his empty eyes locking onto Roya.
In a flash, Cavendish was gone.
Clang!
Roya caught the sword. To everyone else, Cavendish's speed was like a ghost, but to Roya, it was just okay.
Roya's eyes turned cold. "Give him back his body."
"..."
Cavendish didn't speak. The dark personality controlling him felt a heavy, terrifying pressure from Roya.
This man could kill him without effort!
The ghostly look vanished, and Cavendish's handso face returned, the one that made people hate him. It made Roya want to kick him.
Pop!
His snot bubble burst, and Cavendish woke up.
He looked around at the destroyed Concert Venue, the bodies on the ground, and his heart leaped into his throat. "Did I do all this?"
"That's right."
Roya smiled. "You cut down a Celestial Dragon. You'll be famous soon! But a Marine Admiral is on his way. You'd better run."
"I..."
Cavendish felt mixed up. Part of him wanted the fa, but another part was scared and angry.
This was all Black Hair's fault!
"Is this the Concert Venue?"
Suddenly, a man with short green hair walked into the Concert Venue. "Why is no one here? Did I co to the wrong place?"
"Pirate Hunter!"
Cavendish saw Zoro and thought he was here for a duel. But he didn't have ti for that now.
He needed to run!
Cavendish pointed at the two Celestial Dragons lying in pools of Blood. "Pirate Hunter, I don't have ti to fight! I cut down a Celestial Dragon, and the Marine Admiral is coming!"
"Celestial Dragon?"
Zoro scratched his head. "I think I cut down a Celestial Dragon on the way here too. People were saying an Admiral was coming to arrest ."
"What? You're the one who cut down the Celestial Dragon!"
Cavendish was shocked.
During the chaos inside, he wondered which Idiot had attacked a Celestial Dragon. It was this guy!
Zoro frowned. "Didn't you cut them down too!"
"Idiot, I'm not like you!"
The two glared at each other.
Roya raised his hand, looking a little annoyed, and greeted Zoro. "Zoro, long ti no see!"
"Roya Big Brother!"
Zoro perked up. He had co to find Roya.
Roya pointed towards the Back Door. "I'd love to chat, but you guys need to get off this island fast. The Marine Admiral will be here in ten minutes, tops."
"This is all your fault!"
Cavendish glared at Roya.
"Well, that's true!"
Roya chuckled. "How about this? I'll hold off the Marine Admiral and give you half an hour to escape. You guys should head to Fish-Man Island as fast as you can."
"If you don't have a ship that can go underwater, steal one from another pirate. There's not much ti. Don't waste it."
"Also, take Zoro with you."
"You both hurt Celestial Dragons. You're better off having each other's backs. Don't even think about fighting the Marine Admiral."
"Go now!"
Cavendish perked up and rushed towards the Back Door. "I don't want to take orders from you, but you're right. There's no ti to chat. Hey, Pirate Hunter, hurry up and leave with !"
"..."
Zoro looked unsure.
Roya nodded. "Go. We'll et again in the New World!"
"Okay, I'm leaving then!"
Zoro bowed slightly and ran towards the left side of the stage, away from Cavendish.
Roya pointed to the right, speechless.
"The Back Door is on the right!"
"..."
Zoro stopped, looking embarrassed, and ran towards the main entrance with his head down.
"Damn it, that's the wrong way!"
After a chaotic flurry, Zoro finally left the Concert Venue. As a Bounty Hunter, he didn't have his own ship and needed soone to get him off Sabaody.
And the only pirate on the island who dared to act with him was probably Cavendish, who had committed the sa cri.
Three minutes later, Yamato and the others also left at Roya's instruction. Only he and the critically injured Celestial Dragon Guard remained in the Concert Venue.
Roya went to the audience area and drew his sword.
Thwack!
The blade pierced the guard's heart!
Thwack! Thwack!
Soon, only the two Celestial Dragons were left breathing in the Concert Venue.
Killing them now would be easy, but it would be pointless and would only make the Marines chase Cavendish and Zoro even harder.
If the Marines were serious, even if the two of them entered the New World, they wouldn't be able to escape.
"Huh!"
Roya looked at Shalria.
She had been cut dozens of tis by Cavendish, and her injuries were much worse than Saint Rosward's. Roya could feel her breathing getting weaker, and blood was coming from the corners of her mouth.
She was dying.
"Well, it's rare to see a Celestial Dragon with a normal face."
Roya went to Shalria, knelt down, and put his palm on her chest, electricity gathering in his palm.
He had learned dical skills and knew the strength of the electric current, which could be used to help her a little.
Besides, the Marines were coming.
"Buzz!"
Shalria's body twitched.
At that mont, many Marines gathered outside the Concert Venue.
"Listen up. Our mission is to protect the two Celestial Dragons!"
"dical team, get ready!"
"Charge!"
When everything was ready, the Marines rushed into the Concert Venue and saw Roya, and Shalria in Roya's arms.
"Vice Admiral Roya saved Shalria!"
That's what they saw.
But, in reality,
Shalria opened her eyes and looked at Roya with hatred. It's because of this Band that all of this happened.
"I'm going to make you my slave!"
"Shh!"
Roya smiled and put a finger to his lips, saying softly, "Shalria, you're still in danger. Please don't speak so loudly."
"And one more thing."
Roya leaned down and whispered in Shalria's ear, "If you threaten again, I will kill you, understand?"
"..."
Shalria closed her mouth, and fear appeared in her eyes.
