"Is that her? The Admiral of the Empire's Navy. She seems to be a woman who enjoys getting into trouble." Sakazuki comnted disdainfully as he watched from above. In front of him, a male and a female figure had been captured by Kuzan.
The man was Vice Admiral Liver of the Imperial Navy.
Liver now lay unconscious on a stretcher carried by two soldiers in winter uniforms. His face and neck were covered in frostbite, a harrowing sight.
That was the result of Kuzan's rcy and Liver's natural resilience.
And the woman, of course, was Esdeath. Kuzan had freed her from her ice prison, but she was wearing handcuffs made of seastone.
Esdeath had behaved with absolute submission throughout the entire journey. She just followed Kuzan silently, until she finally reached the base.
Kuzan on the other hand had talked quite a bit during the trip.
He first showed Esdeath an introductory video of the World Governnt, produced by the propaganda departnt, so that she would better understand the nature of this vast organization.
He then presented her with an educational video on the basic workings of Starfish World, explaining in detail how his world operated.
The most important point is to know what celestial dragons represent.
Finally, Kuzan showed him a third video, which contained footage of the conflicts between the World Governnt and the Worlds of Kabane, Demon Slayer, and the Titans. The most exciting monts of these wars left Esdeath breathless.
At the sa ti, Esdeath was impressed by the strength of the World Governnt admirals appearing in the video.
Only then did she understand sothing crucial.
She, the strongest in her world, was so weak in comparison?
Although rraid had told her of the World Governnt's enormous strength, words could never match what Esdeath had witnessed with her own eyes.
Furthermore, rraid had only seen a small part of the World Governnt's true power. She didn't even know how vast and terrifying it actually was.
And these were the reasons why Esdeath was so honest and even had no resistance.
As for the Empire, Esdeath felt she had done everything in her power. She had no regrets.
'And this man?' Esdeath watched Sakazuki without concern, knowing that such contempt was a privilege of the strong.
'According to what I saw in the videos, this must be Army General Sakazuki.'
Esdeath was filled with expectations and confidence for her future. She knew that since Kuzan had not killed her outright, but instead brought her prisoner to the base, it was likely that the World Governnt would try to recruit her.

"Ahlalala~ Her na is Esdeath. She caused a lot of trouble before. I finally brought her back. Next, I have to escort her for a while. It's a bit troubleso." Kuzan sighed as he looked at Sakazuki. He then pointed at the unconscious Liver on the stretcher.

Sakazuki had gone out alone to take a look at Esdeath, intrigued by the reports about the snowstorm that had covered the entire southeastern region of the Empire.
However, seeing that Kuzan didn't have a scratch on him, he lost interest in her.
"Too bad I wasn't the one to face her. I would have liked to see if my Raiu could taste the blood of an admiral~" Shiryu looked at Esdeath with regret, then shook his head.
'Such a strong murderous aura...'
Esdeath, though outwardly calm, was shocked by the intensity of the sensation. For a mont, she could hardly resist the temptation to attack first.
"Who is he?"
Hearing Esdeath's question, Kuzan touched the back of his head helplessly.

Kuzan nodded without hesitation.

Esdeath remained silent, as Kuzan urged her to continue walking. "Co on. This is not your final destination, we still have a long way to go."
Esdeath followed Kuzan as they walked towards the bio-security station. As they moved forward, electric gates opened and closed, constantly surrounding them with clouds of disinfectant gas.
"Is this the dinsional gate?"
When they finally passed through the last electric gate, Esdeath looked at the massive twenty-ter-high golden tunnel and asked, intrigued.
"Because the dinsional gate is only three ters high and two ters wide, it is difficult to withstand the rapid entry of the army. Therefore, in order to improve the transportation efficiency of the dinsional gate, the World Governnt created this contraction tunnel with the ability of a Devil Fruit." Kuzan explained briefly.
"Sothing similar to the Teigu?" Esdeath muttered.
"More or less." Kuzan replied, as he continued to guide her.
"Why is there another door like this?"
When Esdeath walked out of the shrinking tunnel, she frowned when she saw the sa electric gate in front of her.
But Kuzan did not answer but turned around and smiled. "Congratulations, you have co to another world."
"Huh?"
After Esdeath was stunned for a mont, she realized that she had now co to another world through the dinsional gate.
After going through a simple review process, they left the biosecurity area.
"So this is the sky of the World of Titans. It doesn't seem like anything special." Esdeath comnted, sowhat disappointed.
However, as they crossed the base's massive steel gate, Esdeath stopped in her tracks. She gaped at the stunning scenery before her.
Miles of trenches, fortifications, railways, artillery guns, groups of tanks, anti-aircraft batteries, soldiers patrolling everywhere, shinobi and n in black running at high speed, officers and commanders supervising everything.
And in the sky, enormous flying ships and fighter planes flew through the air with a thunderous roar. The magnitude of the scene was so overwhelming that it filled Esdeath's eyes and mind.
"Hahahahahaha!"
Esdeath let out an uncontrolled laugh, looking up at the sky with a wild smile.
Her eyes glittered with greed.
Esdeath took a deep breath of the air perated with tal and gunpowder and roared towards the landscape in front of her: "This is the world I want! The army I want! The war I want!"
"World Governnt! Why did it take you so long to appear in my world, leaving to believe, like a frog at the bottom of a well, that the little world I lived in was the greatest thing ever?"
"Let fight for you. I, Esdeath, am willing to win more wars for you and conquer more worlds!"
"I'll even conquer the Empire for you if necessary!"
Any resistance or frustration she had felt vanished in the face of the imnsity of the Titans World's military base. Kuzan simply watched her silently, not interrupting.
After a while, Esdeath managed to calm down a bit. She raised her still chained hands and looked at Kuzan.
"Admiral Kuzan, please remove these handcuffs from . They are no longer of any use. Then take to see your leader. I want to join your army as soon as possible."
"Arara... Well..." Kuzan looked hesitant.
In the end he decided to free her.
"Thank you~"
A bright smile appeared on Esdeath's face.
"You're welco. However, we don't have a single leader here. As you've seen in the videos, the top leaders of the world governnt are the Five Elders." Kuzan replied, shaking his head.
"So, where are we going now?" Esdeath asked, sowhat confused.
"I have received orders to take you to the Paradis Island of this world. Soone else will pick you up there." Kuzan confessed, although he did not quite understand the reason.
"Let's go. Now we have to go to the airport to take a flying ship."
"Okay!"
Esdeath nodded heavily. She believed that with her potential and value, she would never be abandoned and wasted by the World Governnt, so no matter where she went now, she had no worries.
"Esdeath!!!"
Suddenly, an enthusiastic female voice echoed in the distance.
"rraid?!" Esdeath turned around in surprise.
"Did they capture you too?"
rraid first carefully checked (touched) Esdeath's body, then breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.
"I joined the World Governnt directly after I separated from you, and now I am a mber of Cipher Pol."
"I was worried that you would die in the battle, but now we can be together again!"
Esdeath frowned slightly. She had never been entirely comfortable with rraid's innuendo-filled comnts. She had always preferred to find a man as a partner.
"Ahem, Esdeath, we have to hurry up and leave."
Kuzan reminded helplessly.
"It's an honor to et you, Admiral Kuzan, where are you taking Esdeath?"
rraid asked with a nervous smile.
"Sorry, you don't have the authority to know."
Kuzan glanced at the other party lightly, and then left directly with Esdeath.
