Akainu didn't waste words.

His eyes narrowed, instantly sharp and nacing.

"Great Eruption!"

Molten magma surged violently upward, blasting out into two massive arms of fire that exploded into a barrage of volcanic bombs, each hurling toward Ghidorah like blazing teors.

Even knowing that magma had little effect on this beast, Akainu still chose a wide-area attack.

His reasoning was simple—if a little didn't work, he'd try overwhelming quantity.

If small amounts of magma were ineffective, he'd unleash enough to turn all of Marineford into a sea of fire.

But what he didn't know…

was just how big a mistake he had made.

As the volcanic teors rained from the sky, Ghidorah's eyes remained calm and still—utterly indifferent.

To him, Akainu looked no different from an ant—utterly insignificant.

---

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

teors exploded around and even directly on Ghidorah's massive body, but he didn't so much as blink.

anwhile, the thunder and lightning coiled across his wings, reaching up into the sky.

He just stood there—watching silently… letting Akainu show off.

That expression of complete disinterest, as if all this was beneath him, only made Akainu even angrier.

His face darkened, his voice low and seething:

"Great Eruption!"

More magma bombs rained down, consuming what was once Marineford.

Centered around Ghidorah, a sea of molten lava at least a kiloter wide spread out—

yet within that inferno, he remained unchanged, like soone relaxing in a hot bath, maybe even about to whistle a tune.

---

Akainu was about to explode from rage.

His pupils were now bloodshot.

The dignity of a Marine Admiral—

Gone.

---

"That—that monster's completely unhard?!"

Aboard the Moby Dick, the Whitebeard Pirates' division commanders stared in disbelief at the beast standing in the sea of lava.

"Gurararara…"

"What a suicidal move…"

Even Whitebeard admitted—he could never stand there like that.

Looking back, he had once seriously considered fighting Ghidorah.

Now? That'd be nothing short of throwing his life away.

Better to spend what little ti he had left with his family.

In that mont, he saw through everything—fa, power, wealth…

None of it compared to family.

Perhaps… fading away quietly was its own kind of peace.

---

SWISH!

Suddenly, Aokiji landed at the bow of the ship, carrying Garp and Sengoku over his shoulders.

"Aokiji! What do you want?!"

Marco instantly activated his Devil Fruit powers and readied himself, guarding against this uninvited guest.

"Old Man!"

"Pops!!"

Whitebeard released Luffy and Ace, who rushed to Garp's side and broke down in gut-wrenching sobs.

"V-Vice Admiral Garp's not dead yet," Aokiji interjected.

"He's not?!"

The two froze—

Then, in perfect unison, they did sothing that made everyone around them sweat bullets:

They each grabbed one of Garp's arms and began shaking him violently, screaming:

"GRANDPAAAA!!!"

Watching this, everyone's hearts skipped a beat.

At this rate, if he wasn't dead from the battle, they were gonna shake him to death.

Fortunately, the Whitebeard Pirates had plenty of experienced ship doctors due to the ongoing war.

And Whitebeard's generosity—he truly earned the title of "King of the Seas."

He imdiately ordered dical aid for Garp and Sengoku.

After all, calling them enemies wouldn't be accurate. But calling them friends felt off, too.

---

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Back at the battlefield, the explosive blasts of magma rang out once more.

Akainu, nearly blowing himself up in the process, was on the verge of losing his mind.

His magma—once unstoppable—was completely useless.

"teor Volcano!"

He hurled another barrage of titanic magma fists into the sky.

They fell like shooting stars, crashing down toward Ghidorah.

BOOM! BOOM!

Ghidorah casually swayed his heads left and right, dodging them with ease.

Each magma fist that landed erupted into bursts of molten lava.

Now, the entire area around him bubbled like a boiling cauldron of death.

---

"Is that all you've got?"

Ghidorah looked toward the panting Akainu, his golden eyes flickering with mockery.

---

"Damn it! A devil that dares threaten the world—

Even if it costs my life, I, Akainu, won't let you off easy!!"

Exhausted and drenched in sweat, Akainu was running on fus.

---

"You want to die?"

"That's easy."

Ghidorah's golden gaze narrowed.

He raised one colossal foot—

Then brought it down with a CRASH.

---

The entire Marineford shook violently.

The ground beneath Ghidorah cracked with a sharp CRACK.

Within seconds, a massive fissure opened beneath him, swallowing magma and spewing it skyward.

Then, the lightning on his body surged.

Opening his jaws wide, he unleashed an enormous golden energy beam, many tis thicker than before.

This ti, he wasn't holding back.

---

The blast scread through the air like a thunder-dragon, ripping toward Akainu with fury.

"The scythe of death has been at your throat all along."

"Whether it takes your life—depends on my mood."

"If I'm in a good mood, I'll kill you. If I'm in a bad mood—

I'll still kill you!"

BOOOOM!!

The spot where Akainu had stood erupted into a blinding mushroom cloud nearly a kiloter wide.

At the very end, his mind still echoed Ghidorah's words…

Words he could never comprehend.

---

"What a joke…"

"That was a Navy Admiral?"

Ivan, watching the live broadcast, sneered.

---

"T-That was… a Marine Admiral?!"

Cobra's eyes widened in disbelief.

"What even is the Navy?" Ivan asked, confused.

"It's the World Governnt's military arm. They exist to uphold—"

Cobra, like a patient teacher, began explaining the Navy and its ideals to his ancient ancestor.

But when he ntioned that the Navy represented "justice," Ivan burst out laughing.

---

"Justice? Don't make laugh!"

"They're just a pack of hypocrites in uniform—where's the 'justice' in that?!"

"Uhh…"

Cobra was speechless, clearly embarrassed.

Trying to salvage the situation, he said:

"Well, Arabasta is currently a mber of the World Governnt…"

"A mber?!"

Ivan's (OC) face turned pitch black.

"Which brainless idiot signed us up?!"

"I worked so hard to get Arabasta OUT of that corrupt organization, and now you idiots are crawling back in?!"

He was furious.

Everything he'd sacrificed—all for nothing.

---

"Um… Please don't be angry, Ancestor." Cobra tried to placate him.

"The previous king did it for the good of Arabasta. And… well, the World Governnt is incredibly powerful…"

"Even with soone like Ghidorah revived, I'm not sure they'll lose—"

---

"Fools. Utter fools!"

Ivan suddenly stood up, eyes blazing with fury.

"If that monster only had that much power, I'd never have left the Governnt in the first place."

His expression darkened.

"You're all wrong. Everyone's wrong."

"That creature… isn't a Devil Fruit user."

"He is…"
