The wheel of history rolls on ceaselessly, pushing the era forward into endless changes, into the unknown, into storm and chaos.

Like the clouds in the sky—sotis flashing with lightning, sotis raging wildly, sotis surging without end.

Storms and tornadoes descend, the world trembles, and heaven and earth change color.

The shifting tides of the age give birth to countless mighty figures.

But just as many are buried by it.

Rumble…

The violent sea rages like a dreamlike storming star ocean.

Hurricanes clash with torrents of energy, intertwining, unleashing terrifying waves that crush everything nearby.

"Cough… cough…"

Blood poured from the giant eagle's beak as he looked unwillingly at the tornadoes being swallowed by energy.

His body was covered in fine wounds, staggering and exhausted, as though he could fall at any mont.

"Brat, I'll admit you're strong—but only that much."

On the beach knelt a half-bodied giant, face ferocious, raising his short axe and swinging it down without hesitation.

Another mighty slash was unleashed, tearing the air apart as it ca crashing forward.

The dragon, swaying on the verge of collapse, could not resist. Even dodging had beco almost impossible.

With no choice left, he instinctively coated his body with Armant Haki, hoping to withstand the strike.

But in his heart, he knew it was futile. Before a slash that could rend even space, this was the best he could do.

Slash!

The enormous strike landed in an instant, pausing only slightly before blasting the eagle high into the sky.

Scarlet blood rained down like droplets, falling into the storm-tossed sea, dyeing the waters red.

"Damn it… so strong!"

The dragon-eagle's eyes snapped wide open, not daring to relax even for a breath—for to relax now ant death.

But even if he did not relent, how long could he last?

His battered form could not withstand the slash in the end, and he was sent crashing down toward the sea below.

The raging ocean—once he fell in, his fate would be sealed.

Yet just as the eagle was about to strike the waves, the churning black clouds were suddenly torn apart by a colossal shadow.

A body like cracked magma, trailing thick volcanic ash—

It ripped through the burning sky, diving down, and snatched the falling eagle into its grasp.

"What a sorry sight you are, little one."

The massive winged beast, wings spanning a hundred ters, let out a low roar like a hellfire demon. With a thunderous crash, it landed upon the island, setting down the eagle.

"Ro… Rodan …"

Half-conscious, the eagle opened his eyes, staring at the towering beast before him, his gaze full of complex emotion. Then his eyes slid shut.

His form shifted back, revealing a dragon covered in wounds.

"To drive the Thunderbird Fruit to this state… you really are sothing."

Rodan glanced at the battered dragon beneath him, his tone full of disdain. Then he lifted his gaze toward the giants standing at the faraway shore.

The Zoan-type Mythical Beast: Thunderbird.

A thousand years ago, this was a fruit on par with the gods themselves. Even the Logia-type Hurricane Fruit paled before it.

As the god of the skies, the Thunderbird commanded both wind and lightning. And though these seed only two elents, from them sprang endless variations of weather.

Rain, hail…

It was said that the fruit's first wielder had even reached the point of altering local climates.

But for Dragon, such mastery was still far away.

Despite his disdainful words, Rodan would not let a youngster he had marked with his expectations be crushed so easily—especially not by those soulless hulks.

"Rest easy, boy. Leave this to ."

With that, Rodan spread his colossal wings and took to the skies, skimming low toward the shoreline.

Beneath him, trees ignited instantly, crumbling into ash, swept into the storm he carried toward the sea.

Thick clouds of dust rose like a sandstorm, glowing with drifting sparks.

"Woganfu!"

Boom!

A thunderous roar shook the heavens as a torrent of crimson fire, like molten magma, swept across the beach.

Sand lted, seawater evaporated, and even the half-bodied giant was engulfed in fla and smoke.

A scream?

None was heard—for the giant soldiers were nothing but shells with souls.

Rodan's fire was not the fla of the underworld—it could lt all matter, but it could not burn away souls.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Sky Lord!"

The three remaining giants leapt high, their massive weapons cleaving downward, three titanic slashes splitting the air.

"Roar!"

"You worthless trash!"

Rodan t the strikes head-on, landing heavily upon the magma-drenched shore. With a furious bellow, he unleashed a torrent of fla.

The flas—so dense they seed like molten lava—collided with the three slashes in an explosion of sparks and molten spray.

Sizzle…

Where it splattered on the ground, the earth lted with a hiss, then burst into flas that swiftly turned the surroundings into a fiery hell.

A hundred years ago, ancient records told of Rodan: Lord of the Skies, Demon King of the Inferno.

He was disaster incarnate. He was destruction itself.

The three giants, facing fire that clung and devoured everything, pressed forward with no retreat. They brandished their massive weapons, slashing through both fla and air.

In truth, their combined size and mass exceeded Rodan's own. But before his blazing inferno, they could do little but grit their teeth.

Fortunately, this was not their first battle of this kind. A thousand years ago, they had already tasted the Sky Lord's flas.

They divided their roles—two to defend against the fire, one to strike at Rodan directly.

But even so, Laton showed no fear. He leapt, wings crashing down with a deafening boom.

Clang!

Wing and blade collided, the sound ringing like clashing steel.

"There are only three of you left, aren't there?"

Rodan's eyes glead with ferocity as he stared down the giant blocking his wings. Without hesitation, he opened his jaws and spewed forth another torrent of fire.

The searing flas burst forth, exploding against a massive black shield.

Buzz—

"You fla-spewing beast!"

With that roar, a colossal greatsword ca cleaving down toward Rodan's skull.

Crash!

The strike slamd into his blazing wings, sparks flying as he shielded his head.

Rodan pressed forward, pushing the giant's sword away with his wings. His eyes locked on the shield-bearer, and he gave a cruel smile.

"Ha! Such brainless fools—one word and you're already enraged."

Boom!

He spread his burning wings wide, shoving aside the greatsword before sweeping them outward in a blazing arc.

Rodan's wings were no ordinary flesh and bone. Soaked in magma for a thousand years, tempered without end, they had long surpassed ordinary steel.

Perhaps not quite reaching Ghidorah's monstrous extres—but more than enough to match the weapons in the giants' hands…
