"Arton, we've found an intruder." At this mont, Uta walked over, holding a length of rope.
At the other end of the rope, the hands of a shirtless, freckle-faced man wearing an orange hat were tied up.
"Huh, you're—!" The mont Morgans saw who it was, his eyes instantly lit up.
"Sorry, everyone, I don't have any ill intentions."
"I'm just soone who was drawn in by the sll of food, that's all." The freckled man wore a smile on his face, not the least bit anxious or worried about being caught by Uta.
"Hmph, even if you were drawn in by food, sneaking onto our ship like that is still very rude." Uta snorted coldly at the man, then looked toward Arton. "Captain, how should we handle this guy?"
Arton shook his head and looked at the man in front of him with interest as he said, "Didn't expect to run into the Whitebeard Pirates' Second Division Commander, Fire Fist Ace, out here."
"You ca to just to scrounge a al, didn't you?" Arton hadn't managed to find Blackbeard Teach in Mock Town, but instead, he'd found Fire Fist Ace here.
Faced with such an amusing developnt, Arton imdiately opened the diary.
The heroines currently watching Arton's diary copies were instantly drawn in by the recording and temporarily stopped what they were doing.
And once they clearly saw what was in the footage, every one of them showed an extrely shocked expression.
Whitey Bay: "That's… Ace?! How is he there? Wait, why is he tied up by Uta? Did sothing happen between him and Arton?"
Makino: "How could this be?! Ace is such a polite kid—Arton isn't going to lay a hand on Ace, is he?"
When Whitey Bay and Makino saw what the recording showed, their heartbeats instantly sped up.
Both of them were very worried about Ace. As for Arton's strength, Makino and Whitey Bay both had a decent idea in their hearts.
Although Ace did have a certain level of power, he was not Arton's match.
Just imagining the scene of Ace possibly being defeated by Arton made Whitey Bay and Makino want to fly straight to Arton's side right now to help Ace out of this situation.
Gion: "The Whitebeard Pirates' Second Division Commander… Arton actually crossed paths with that guy? What in the world happened? Wait, is that man Morgans? Morgans found Arton?"
Stussy: "So Morgans actually did manage to track Arton down. From the looks of it, he's planning to do an exclusive interview with Arton. And right at this mont, Fire Fist Ace barges in?"
Kujaku: "The voice that rang out in the tavern earlier should've been Morgans, then. With him around, there'll definitely be newspapers spread across the seas afterward with all kinds of stories about Arton in them."
Smoothie: "Didn't expect the first person from a Yonko crew to find Arton would be soone from the Whitebeard Pirates. Still, since Ace's a man, he can't be one of the diary copy holders, hehe."
Black Maria: "The current scene looks quite entertaining, doesn't it?"
Yamato: "A-Ace?! No way, how is he showing up there? Right—according to Arton's diary, he went to hunt down Blackbeard! No, wait, hunting Blackbeard is one thing, but Ace, why are you clashing with Arton?!"
…
"Hey, what are you spacing out for? Didn't you hear our captain asking you a question?" Seeing Ace not respond to Arton, Uta spoke unhappily.
"Ahem, yeah, I really did co to mooch a al."
"I've got no intention of making an enemy out of Supernova Arton, who's shaking up this whole sea." Ace scratched his cheek, speaking a bit embarrassedly.
Then his gaze drifted back to the food on the table.
"Well, since you're already here, it's not like I can't treat you to a al. Sit down, Fire Fist Ace."
"Uta, don't tease this guy anymore." Arton said to Uta with a smile. "You know he's Luffy's older brother.
"Even if he is Luffy's brother, sneaking on board like that still deserves at least a little punishnt." Uta chuckled, then loosened the rope binding Ace.
Just as Arton had said, she really hadn't intended to hurt Ace. She had only wanted to give Ace, who'd snuck in here, a bit of a lesson.
"Thanks. You're really a good guy." After thanking Arton, Ace imdiately prepared to dig in.
"Hold on—you ntioned Luffy just now, didn't you?"
"Don't tell you know Luffy?" Ace had just picked up a big hunk of at on the bone when Uta and Arton's earlier conversation suddenly flashed through his mind, and he looked at Arton and Uta in surprise.
"I don't have much to do with Luffy but one of my crewmates does know him." Arton shook his head at Uta, then glanced at Morgans.
Uta imdiately understood that Arton didn't intend for Morgans to know about the relationship between her and Luffy, so she hopped back up onto the lookout platform, monitoring the surroundings while waiting for a chance to talk with Ace later.
"Arton, there's no need to be like that. You can completely treat like I'm not even here." Seeing Uta leave, Morgans spoke with so regret.
He was very sharp and could tell that Uta and Arton were hiding sothing. And that hidden thing might just be a huge piece of news. For news-obsessed Morgans, that made his heart itch.
"Ace showing up was an accident."
"Putting that aside, let's continue the interview we were having before, Morgans."
"Also, if possible, I'd like you to stop looking at things with that 'can't wait to watch the show' expression."
"I have no intention of fighting Ace."
"So don't even think about writing so article titled 'Flablade Pirates' Arton vs. Whitebeard Pirates' Second Division vs. Fire Fist Ace' or sothing." Arton said with a laugh.
"Ah, you caught on to that too?!" Morgans spoke with exaggerated surprise and regret.
Ace's appearance had been a pleasant surprise to him.
He'd already thought he was about to get another huge scoop, but Arton didn't throw a punch at Ace and even cut off their earlier conversation.
That left Morgans more than a little disappointed.
Arton didn't react much to the disappointnt on Morgans' face. Keeping in mind that he still hadn't received today's system reward, he opened the system's recording function and pointed the lens at Morgans.
One way or another, Morgans was still a famous figure in this pirate world, so he was worth Arton recording into his diary.
Gion: "Morgans! From the looks of it, they've gotten to the interview part now."
Doll: "That guy Ace is actually off to the side stuffing his face, and Arton isn't saying a thing. So in the end, Arton really doesn't plan on teaching him a lesson?"
Makino: "That's a relief. Arton is treating Ace properly."
Whitey Bay: "Mm, considering Arton is treating Ace to a al, I can consider letting him have a taste of once!"
Stussy: "This Morgans is surprisingly photogenic. There's no way he'd ever think that, as the interviewer, he'd end up as a character in soone else's diary right now."
Stussy: "Co to think of it, he's got plenty of secrets of his own. Now that Arton's eting him like this, I wonder if he'll accidentally let sothing slip about him."
Stussy: "If that really happened, that would be very fun fufu~"
As soone else from the underworld, Stussy knew plenty of things about Morgans that absolutely could not see the light of day.
If she were really just an agent of the World Governnt, she probably would've already exposed all those dirty little secrets of Morgans' to the Five Elders.
If that happened, Morgans would end up in a pretty miserable state.
Although Arton's diary couldn't just be casually revealed to others, if Arton really were to make those things public here and that led to so of the female diary copy holders in the Marines or the World Governnt finding out…
Morgans would definitely draw quite a bit of attention.
In truth, Arton's mind did wander a bit to so of the descriptions of Morgans in the original storyline.
But with the interview about to begin, he didn't actually intend to jot those things into his diary right now.
...
"All right, weren't you going to interview ?" Arton smiled at Morgans and spoke. "I happen to have ti right now, so ask whatever you want. If ti runs out, I can't promise I'll still be willing to accept your interview."
Hearing this, Morgans imdiately straightened his posture, picked up his reporter's notebook, and put on a very serious expression.
"No problem, Arton. In order to get to know you better, I'd like you to first talk a bit about your personal likes and goals."
Morgans paused, going back over everything and everyone he'd seen since boarding Arton's ship, then continued.
"Arton, I've noticed that besides you, all the crewmates on your ship are won."
"And not just that—they're all quite beautiful won."
"So I'd like to ask, are you a man who really likes beautiful won and lives a life with a beauty in each arm?"
