At Jango's words, Zoro imdiately frowned.
Arton chuckled and turned to Nami, who was standing behind him.
"Nami, you're a swordsman now too."
"This promising swordsman here wants to challenge ."
"Don't you think you should help your captain out by taking on this challenge?"
Upon hearing Arton's words, Nami imdiately put on a serious expression and stepped forward to stand beside him.
"Did you hear what Captain Arton said?"
"If you want to challenge the captain, you'll have to get through first!"
Zoro's frown deepened as he studied Nami.
After a mont, he nodded slightly and said:
"You're strange. You have the aura of a swordsman."
"… but it doesn't seem pure."
"Never mind, since he said you have to defeat her before you can challenge him."
"Let's have a sword duel, then."
After saying this, Zoro prepared to draw his sword, much to the horror of Usopp and Jango. However, just as the blade was about to leave its sheath, Arton pressed it back in with his hand.
"Hmm?"
"That was fast!"
Zoro's eyes widened as he stared at Arton's hand resting on his sword hilt, leaving him stunned. He hadn't even seen when Arton moved to press his sword back. This realization ant that he might not even be able to draw his sword if he faced Arton.
For a mont, Zoro's eyes turned bloodshot as he stared at Arton.
"Don't be in such a rush, young man."
"The big show over there isn't finished yet."
"Let's watch that first, then we'll talk."
"And besides, I have so questions for the guy next to you."
Arton gestured toward Sanji, who had just overridden the other chefs' objections and placed a bowl of fried rice in front of Krieg, and then looked at Jango.
"Jango, what are you doing here?"
"Don't tell you joined the Straw Hat Pirates?"
As Arton spoke, he released his hand from Zoro's sword hilt. Although Zoro was irritated that he couldn't engage in the duel imdiately, seeing Arton's current deanor, he had no choice but to wait. He silently hoped that Sanji's situation would be resolved quickly.
