As Hina wanted to continue talking to Arton, she saw that he had already closed his eyes. His steady breathing made it seem as though he had already fallen asleep.
Kaya noticed Arton's state and ca over.
"Everyone, please leave for now," Kaya said. "It's my turn to take over."
Carina, being Arton's crew mber, naturally knew what should and shouldn't be done at this mont. She patted Nami's shoulder and led her out of the room.
Nami complied, and though Tashigi and Hina had different thoughts, they too obediently left the room and returned to the place where Uta had earlier helped them change clothes.
After Tashigi and Hina changed back into their clothes, Hina turned to Tashigi and said softly, "Tashigi, do you think Arton disliked Hina?"
Tashigi opened her mouth but ultimately chose to remain silent. She didn't know what to say in this situation.
Seeing Tashigi's expression and Uta's playful attitude, Hina clenched her fists.
"Damn it, Hina will make sure Arton knows that Hina is a woman untouched by any man!"
At that mont, Hina's idea of repaying with her body started to turn into a matter of pride.
"Although I don't know what you're thinking, I think it's best for you two to prepare to leave."
"Arton is mine, and I won't let you have another chance to tempt him into joining your Navy."
A slightly displeased voice sounded behind Tashigi and Hina.
They turned to see that at so point, Nami had appeared. She stood there with her arms crossed, looking at them with disdain.
"Nami…" Tashigi bit her lip, looking at Nami, their savior, with a conflicted expression.
"Nami, we can talk—," Hina said, taking a deep breath and softening her tone.
"Hmph, there's nothing to talk about with you Navy folks."
"What can you do? Help a pirate crew rule my hotown?"
"Don't make laugh."
"Now that I've found Arton, I believe he will help ."
"Not only Arlong and his n, but also those Navy officers who sheltered them, I will never forgive them."
ntioning her hotown made Nami's expression dark and terrifying, clearly recalling so extrely unpleasant mories.
Facing such a Nami, Tashigi and Hina couldn't find words to say and could only stand there awkwardly. After all, given Nami's situation, she indeed had the right to criticize the Navy.
"If you rember that I helped you," Nami continued, "then don't get in my way when I take Arton to my hotown."
After speaking, she huffed coldly at Hina and Tashigi before turning and leaving the room. She left behind a stunned Hina and Tashigi, as well as Uta, who had been watching the whole ti.
"Arlong, huh? This must be the pirate who caused Nami's tragedy," Hina thought, frowning slightly and making a ntal note of the na.
anwhile, elsewhere...
The New World.
Wano Country.
"Black Maria, what did you call us here for?" Ulti asked as she pushed the door open, walking in with a frown.
Behind her was Ginrummy, another mber of the Beasts Pirates. Although Ginrummy's status was far below that of Ulti and Black Maria, having Arton's diary copy had allowed her to gradually integrate into Ulti and Black Maria's circle.
The other Beasts Pirates were puzzled by this, but the lower-ranking pirates didn't dare to treat Ginrummy as they had before. Because of this, Ginrummy felt a growing appreciation for the unseen Arton.
"I called you here to talk about Arton," Black Maria said, patting the tatami in front of her and addressing her two colleagues as they entered the living room.
"Of course we saw the information he revealed," Ulti replied.
"Hmph, I never thought Kaido-san would be defeated even after allying with that woman."
"Who are these three new-generation pirates that could take them down?"
"And to defeat us on our own territory?"
"What were we doing at the ti?" Ulti asked, sitting cross-legged and frowning deeply.
"Could... could we have died?" Ginrummy trembled as she spoke.
"Don't say such things. Arton only ntioned Kaido-san's defeat, not his death."
"So, we won't die either," Ulti replied with a firm tone, though she herself was uncertain.
The battles between pirates were brutal. While Kaido might survive due to his strong physique, the sa couldn't be said for all mbers of the Beasts Pirates.
"What will happen to us in the future, only Arton might know."
"Anyway, I didn't call you here to complain."
"I called you to figure out a way to solve the problems we'll face in the future," Black Maria said seriously.
"Solve the problems?"
"Black Maria, you don't an to deal with every potential new-generation pirate, do you?" Ulti asked.
"Even for us, that's a tall order," Black Maria shook her head.
"Then what do you plan to do?" Ulti asked, her frown deepening.
"We go to sea and find Arton!" Black Maria said firmly.
"Go to sea to find Arton?"
"Are you out of your mind, Black Maria?"
"Kaido-san wouldn't just allow us to go to sea," Ulti retorted irritably.
If it were that easy to go to sea, they would have done so long ago.
"That was before," Black Maria said with a mysterious smile, her expression darkening.
"Recently, I sought out oiran Komurasaki, the most famous courtesan in Wano."
"She also holds a diary copy."
"I initially intended to recruit her as our ally, but that woman mysteriously disappeared."
"Thinking back, she must have left to find Arton."
"To be able to leave the closed country of Wano, she must be more than just an ordinary courtesan…"
