"Dual Sword Style: Thousand Valley Sever!"
Roldy swung both blades at once, his speed so extre that the naked eye could barely follow. Countless razor-sharp slashes blanketed the battlefield.
The technique he displayed—
Was unmistakably one of Golden Lion Shiki's signature sword moves.
"Has he gone insane? When did Roldy master swordsmanship at the level of a Great Swordsman? And wasn't he a Single Sword Style user before?!"
Dragon pushed his Observation Haki to its limit, narrowly evading the intricate Dual Sword Style assault. Such refined swordsmanship could not be achieved without years of relentless tempering.
He had seen Roldy's blade before—barely at swordsman level.
But now?
This was undeniably the realm of a true Great Swordsman.
Worse still, in all their previous spars, Roldy had relied purely on physical combat. This sudden shift to high-level swordplay had completely caught them off guard.
"Terrifying as always, Roldy… Say, Dragon, shouldn't we co up with sothing? If this keeps up, the n we brought won't survive!"
Borsalino's body was repeatedly sliced into particles of light—only to reform again and again.
The dense storm of slashes pressured even him, though not severely. With his exceptional Observation Haki, he effortlessly avoided fatal damage through elental dispersion.
Dragon, though possessing Logia-like abilities in this story's interpretation, could not match Borsalino's evasion.
Roldy couldn't help but wonder—
Had Borsalino pushed his Observation Haki to an absurd level?
"Damn it! Does this guy never run out of stamina? Tokikake, how's Gion?!"
Freshly awakened Armant Haki coated Tokikake's arms as he shielded himself behind Dragon. Using the brute force granted by his Zoan-type Devil Fruit, he smashed aside several stray slashes.
But it wasn't enough.
Even scattered waves of such power were beyond him. His arms trembled violently from the impact.
As for Gion—
A pure swordswoman facing slashes stronger than her own greatest techniques—
Blood now seeped from cracked palms. Several cuts marred her toned body. She looked utterly battered.
"What's wrong? Is this already too much for you? And you talk about justice? Go crawl back to bed! I'll destroy everything that gets in my way—you just sit there and watch!"
A trace of red crept into Roldy's eyes.
He hadn't looked like this in a long ti.
The thrill of battle ignited sothing feral within him. His blades moved faster and faster, their trajectories growing more erratic and impossible to predict.
Fusing the sword styles of Golden Lion Shiki and Saint Batista, Roldy beca a frenzied grinder of flesh.
The scattered slashes reaped lives indiscriminately—
Marine and pirate alike.
He no longer distinguished friend from foe.
"Damn it! Big Brother's gone berserk again!"
Sheen flicked droplets of water from the webbing between his fingers. With the brute strength of a Fish-Man, those droplets shot forward like bullets, piercing through several bodies.
He rolled aside just as a slash carved a massive trench where he had stood.
Even for him, a single mistake would an grievous injury.
Roldy was unquestionably a qualified captain. Sheen had been fortunate to et him.
As for these emotional episodes—
In the pirate world, how many top-tier figures were truly sane anyway?
Yet as he thought that—
A streak of crimson suddenly erupted from the ground behind Roldy.
Molten magma surged upward, coalescing into a humanoid form.
Wearing a Marine cap and crimson suit, Sakazuki erged. The temperature skyrocketed as his gloved fist swelled into a gigantic magma-clad arm.
"Big Brother, look out!"
Too late.
"Great Eruption!"
One of Sakazuki's most destructive techniques.
Boiling magma churned violently, releasing its suffocating stench. Sakazuki was no green recruit.
If he called out the attack—
It ant he was certain it would land.
And it did.
Roldy reacted—his Observation Haki inferior to his other talents, but sharpened enough to sense Sheen's warning, the spike in temperature, the lethal intent behind him.
He halted his assault and slashed backward.
Sakazuki instantly dispersed into magma, weaving through the twin blades like a molten serpent before erupting forward.
The blazing Great Eruption slamd into Roldy's chest.
Flesh crackled.
White smoke rose.
The scent of charred at filled the air.
"…It didn't burn through?!"
Sakazuki's pupils shrank.
In that split second of shock—
Roldy countered.
A fist hurtled toward him—
The hilt of a katana smashed brutally into Sakazuki's temple.
The impact nearly shattered his skull.
Only through relentless training—strong Observation Haki, reinforced by Armant Haki, and techniques once taught by Zephyr to disperse force—did he avoid instant defeat.
Even so, blood stread down his forehead. His mind rang.
Through blurred vision, he saw a towering figure approaching—
Dual blades raised.
Dragon and the others were shouting sothing.
He couldn't hear them.
Just as Roldy's swords were about to fall—
A massive, muscular silhouette appeared before Sakazuki.
Calm. Focused.
Both fists shot forward—
Like the twin horns of a charging bull.
Those two razor-sharp katanas—
Were caught barehanded.
"Finally decided to act?"
"I was wondering how long you'd keep watching from the sidelines… Vice Admiral Garp."
