"Roldy, take this!"

A flash of cold steel streaked through the air as a finely forged katana slashed toward Roldy's arm. The swordsmanship was impressive—still sowhat green, yet already brushing the essence of Sword Intent.

Roldy turned his head and saw a pink figure rushing toward him.

"We're enemies, Gion. In battle, warning your opponent can cost you your life!"

There was no trace of rcy in Roldy's eyes. He seized Tokikake with one hand and hurled him straight at Gion.

Her lack of real battlefield experience showed imdiately. Caught off guard, she froze for a split second—just enough ti for Tokikake's body to slam into her like a cannonball. The two were sent flying and crashed onto the soft sand.

"Gion!"

Tokikake's feelings for her were becoming harder to hide. Thick-skinned as he was, the impact barely fazed him. After quickly checking that she wasn't seriously hurt, he turned toward Roldy, fury blazing in his eyes.

"Roldy, you bastard! Ever since you beca a pirate, have you forgotten everything from the past? Soone like you… is unforgivable!"

He was about to charge again when a large hand stopped him.

"Tokikake, get a grip. This is war. We are enemies. If you keep acting like that, you'll get yourself killed."

Monkey D. Dragon's expression was grim. His eyes locked onto Roldy in the distance as he tore off his Justice Coat and discarded it. Then, with a swift motion, he removed his green suit jacket, revealing a white shirt better suited for combat.

"Gahahahaha! Dragon, bringing these two greenhorn brats into a war like this isn't a good idea! This isn't child's play—and I'm not so small-ti pirate you can crush like an insect. Don't think about who I used to be. Think about how you're going to survive!"

Behind him, artillery fire erupted like a blazing backdrop. Bathed in flas, Roldy threw his head back and laughed.

A savage, overwhelming aura exploded outward—Conqueror's Haki pouring forth like a demonic tide, crushing down on everyone before him.

Under that suffocating pressure, a streak of light suddenly appeared behind him.

"Yes, it is war indeed. So, Roldy… care to experience being kicked at the speed of light again?"

Borsalino, wielder of the Pika Pika no Mi, materialized behind Roldy in a flash. His lazy tone contrasted sharply with the devastating power gathering in his leg.

Speed is power—and light is the ultimate speed.

His kick struck Roldy square in the face.

Even with his imnse size—towering over ten ters tall—Roldy staggered under the blow. But he did not fall.

"That familiar feeling! You've gotten a lot faster, Borsalino!"

"Well, what can I do? You're growing stronger like so kind of monster. A diocre fellow like

can only work harder so I don't get crushed to death by you."

diocre?

Roldy almost laughed. Among the Marines at Headquarters, Borsalino's talent was unquestionably among the very best—surpassing even Sakazuki and Dragon.

In the past, he had been comparable to light-speed.

Now, he was truly light itself.

Drip. Drip…

An unknown liquid sizzled as it hit the ground, accompanied by faint sounds of corrosion.

Sakazuki stepped forward, dressed in a crimson suit and black leather gloves. His entire right arm had transford into surging magma. The blistering heat warped the air itself, thick black smoke rising around him as his gaze locked onto Roldy.

"It's a sha… but Roldy, today will be your funeral."

Sakazuki did not hesitate. He opened with one of his signature techniques—

"igō!"

A ferocious magma hound lunged forward, its molten jaws snarling. The destructive force of the Magu Magu no Mi was unrivaled among Logia.

Borsalino instantly dissolved into light particles to avoid the blast.

Roldy grinned.

That grin.

Sakazuki felt a flicker of unease—followed by rage. How many tis had he seen that smile? Every clash in the past ended the sa way—Roldy overwhelming him, casting a long shadow he could never escape.

"IG??!"

He roared, as if trying to burn away every past defeat.

"Winning isn't about who shouts louder, Sakazuki. You're still too hot-headed."

Roldy clenched his right fist.

Deep, pitch-black Armant Haki Coating enveloped his entire arm. The power of the Mo-Mo no Mi surged within him.

Before Tokikake and Gion's stunned gazes, Roldy's massive body vanished—

And appeared directly before Sakazuki.

Their fists collided.

At least, that's what it seed like.

In reality, Sakazuki lasted less than three seconds.

He was blasted away like a kite with its string cut, tumbling violently across the ground before Borsalino intercepted him.

"That punch… terrifying…"

Tokikake swallowed hard.

Only now did he fully understand—between him and his childhood friend lay a bottomless chasm. A gap he could never cross, no matter how hard he tried.

If that sa punch had struck him, even his Ancient Zoan-enhanced body would have shattered into pieces.

"So this… is Roldy's growth…"

Gion bit her lip, forcing herself upright with her katana.

The overwhelming disparity in strength suffocated her. It was like witnessing sothing out of a nightmare.

The first exchange had ended in Roldy's complete victory.

Amid the deafening sounds of war, they seed to glimpse a figure—

One who would make the entire world tremble
