Under the heavy expenditure of resources and the use of various powerful effect items, Sanji, far away in Kamabakka Kingdom, was successfully captured after a few hours.

Revolutionary Army Base.

Inside the office.

Sabo and Koala furrowed their brows as they stared at the docunts in front of them.

Dragon, sitting across from them, was no exception.

The World Governnt had made its move—a massive, unprecedented operation.

Dragon could only order the Revolutionary Army comrades fighting abroad to conceal their identities and refrain from any actions for the ti being.

But the World Governnt’s maneuvers filled Dragon with deep unease.

And the reason why...

"Their target seems to be... the Straw Hat Pirates."

Sabo spoke in a heavy tone, his expression grim.

The Straw Hat Pirates.

Indeed, unless you were a fool, it was clear what the World Governnt was up to.

But the question was *why* they were doing this.

And what consequences would arise from it.

This was why Dragon’s brows were knitted and Sabo’s face was clouded with gloom.

Luffy.

One’s son, the other’s brother.

In the current situation, it seed even Luffy might not be safe.

The world mocked Luffy as a noble young master, a pirate playing gas with a sky-high background.

But now, when the World Governnt was truly getting serious, what could their backgrounds do?

Aside from worrying here, they were powerless.

The Revolutionary Army wasn’t strong enough yet. Even if they wanted to clash with the World Governnt, it would be futile.

"Is the World Governnt insane? What did the Straw Hat crew do to provoke them?" Koala asked, voicing her confusion.

Sabo had no answer. The Straw Hats’ conflicts with the World Governnt seed limited to that one incident where they destroyed the World Governnt’s flag at Enies Lobby, right?

Other than that, it was mostly confrontations with the Marines.

"Because of Vir."

Dragon spoke the harsh truth in a low voice. He had guessed the reason but was helpless to act on it.

The World Governnt was acting like a cat with its tail stepped on—ignoring all else, willing to pay any price to capture every single mber of the Straw Hat Pirates.

This left Dragon with no opportunity to mount a rescue.

"Why? Vir doesn’t have any direct conflict with the World Governnt, does he?" Koala still didn’t understand.

"He’s growing too fast. The World Governnt has sensed the threat... and it’s an enormous threat."

Sabo understood the key point.

Indeed.

If the threat wasn’t significant enough, the World Governnt wouldn’t go to such reckless lengths.

Vir was likely dood this ti, and it seed the entire Straw Hat crew would pay the price because of him.

A flicker of unwillingness flashed in Sabo’s eyes.

Beads of sweat ford on Dragon’s forehead as he racked his brain for a solution.

But there was none.

The gap between them and the World Governnt was simply too vast.

Just as Dragon was at his wit’s end, Sabo suddenly rembered sothing.

He quickly rummaged through his pockets and pulled out a small slip of paper, placing it on the table.

"This is Vir’s Den Den Mushi number that I got from Ace last ti!"

"If we’re out of options, why not see if he has any ideas?"

"He definitely needs our help right now!"

Sabo’s tone was urgent.

Dragon, however, felt this wasn’t a great plan. With Vir’s current strength, what good would teaming up with him do?

He was already struggling to protect himself.

One wrong move, and he’d be taken out instantly.

Contacting him?

Dragon genuinely thought it wasn’t a good idea.

But with no other options, they had to try.

Picking up the Den Den Mushi, Dragon dialed the number on the paper.

He tried three tis, but the result was the sa each ti.

No one answered.

Before Dragon could say anything, an incoming call ca through.

"Commander! Straw Hat Luffy has been captured! He’s being taken to Mary Geoise right now. Should we intercept?"

An anxious voice ca through the line.

Dragon’s heart sank.

He knew Luffy had been training with Rayleigh. If Luffy was captured, it ant even Rayleigh was powerless.

Though he worried for his son, he couldn’t recklessly send his soldiers to their deaths.

If even Rayleigh couldn’t do anything...

They’d only et a tragic end.

"Stand down." Dragon said heavily, his face darkening to its worst.

*Click.*

He hung up the Den Den Mushi forcefully, a trace of frustration toward Vir creeping in.

This was all because of him, yet he hadn’t shown his face.

His crewmates were being captured one by one!

What was this?

But aside from venting, Dragon could do nothing.

Sabo’s eyes darkened as well.

"I’m going out for so air..." he said.

With that, Sabo turned and left.

He said it was to get so air, but not long after, a small boat quietly slipped away from the Revolutionary Army base.

It sailed off into the distance.

And it wasn’t just the Revolutionary Army.

The Four Emperors had also caught wind of the World Governnt’s insane actions.

---

On Onigashima.

Kaido listened to King’s report, his brows slightly furrowed.

Beside him, Yamato was visibly anxious.

"That’s all of it." King said, sitting down, his expression uneasy.

Vir, after all, was the Beasts Pirates’ nominal doctor. It wasn’t unreasonable for their boss to want to support him.

But the cost of doing so would be imnse.

It all depended on what their boss would choose.

As King suspected, Vir was, at the very least, Kaido’s newly recruited nominal doctor, and Kaido had a good impression of him.

Under normal circumstances, Kaido would’ve charged in without a second thought, leading his crew himself.

But... this was the World Governnt.

It was obvious that old monster within the World Governnt had given the order.

During the battle at God Valley years ago, Kaido had witnessed that person’s power firsthand. It wasn’t sothing he could handle now.

Kaido hesitated.

Was it worth risking his entire empire for a nominal doctor?

"Kaido! What are you hesitating for? Hesitate all you want—I’m heading out to sea!" Yamato, seeing Kaido’s indecision, couldn’t wait any longer.

She bolted toward the exit. At a ti like this, they had to act fast.

They had to save Vir’s crew.

Though she didn’t know where he was, there had to be a reason he hadn’t shown himself.

In tis like these, their help was needed more than ever.

"Stop!"

Kaido’s booming voice echoed.

Yamato froze mid-step, turning to face him.

Kaido’s face was stern, clouded with a grim expression.

A mont passed in silence.

"It’s not safe for you to go alone. Go with them." Kaido finally said.

"King! Gather everyone—take them to find Whitebeard!"

King’s face flickered with surprise at the order.

He hadn’t expected Kaido to actually commit to this, let alone with the full might of their crew. "Everyone" ant the entire force, didn’t it?

"And you?" King asked, worried.

Kaido, already transforming into his dragon form, soared into the sky, leaving only an echo behind.

"I’m off to save that old hag first!"

---

anwhile, the Red Hair Pirates seed to have received so secret order. After a quick call, Shanks ordered the crew to turn their ship toward Mary Geoise.

On the Whitebeard Pirates’ side, things weren’t looking good for a quick getaway.

Whitebeard and Big Mom were locked in a heated battle, but it was clear Big Mom was being overpowered. Even so, taking down a rampaging Big Mom wasn’t sothing Whitebeard could do in a snap.

A few minutes or even an hour wouldn’t cut it.

Big Mom’s defense wasn’t just for show, and her Napoleon, Zeus, and Protheus all packed serious destructive power.

Even though she was taking damage, she wouldn’t be defeated quickly.

It’d likely take a full day before the battle reached its conclusion.

But all of that ca crashing down with the arrival of a single ssage.

On the battered, war-torn island, Marco, glowing in his azure phoenix flas, appeared in the sky, his face etched with urgency.

"Pops! Vir’s in trouble!"

Those words hit Whitebeard like a thunderbolt.

Vir? In trouble?

How could that brat possibly be in trouble?

Even Whitebeard himself had to stay sharp when facing Vir. What in this world could endanger him?

But Marco’s frantic expression and Whitebeard’s own understanding of Vir told him one thing: he needed to end this fight fast.

As Big Mom swung her massive blade at him, Whitebeard didn’t bother to block.

Instead, he unleashed an even fiercer slash, aiming straight for her.

Big Mom’s eyes widened in shock.

She had no ti to react.

Their attacks landed simultaneously, but the damage they dealt was far from equal.

That’s right—Whitebeard had switched to a reckless, injury-for-injury fighting style.

He didn’t hold back, pouring every ounce of strength into lethal strikes, tanking Big Mom’s attacks head-on. With Vir around to heal him, these wounds were trivial. Getting to Vir’s side as fast as possible was what mattered.

"Gather the crew! Once I finish this one off, we’re moving out!" Whitebeard roared mid-clash, still finding ti to bark orders.

His eyes burned with killing intent as he spoke.

---

On the seas between Marineford and Mary Geoise, a massive World Governnt ship cut through the waves.

On its deck stood Vir, sunlight glinting off him, making his eyes shine. But his brow was furrowed in deep thought.

Not far ahead, Saint Saturn was constantly on his Den Den Mushi, taking calls.

From the snippets of conversation Vir overheard, he pieced together what was happening outside.

His crewmates had been captured, and it was all to lure him out.

Even for soone like Vir, this situation demanded serious thought.

The World Governnt had suddenly sprung into action, which could only an one thing: Imu had received so kind of intel.

And it was about him.

Imu was wary—afraid of him. Otherwise, there was no way he’d mobilize such a massive operation against Vir now.

If Imu had known sothing earlier, Vir would’ve been dead back on Drum Island.

What did that an?

It ant Imu was hiding sothing big. The King of the World’s resources were beyond imagination.

With Vir’s current strength, breaking through this situation seed impossible. The best-case scenario was to abandon his crewmates, let them die, and survive to grow stronger for revenge later.

But could he do that?

No way. Vir couldn’t abandon them.

Just monts ago, Saturn’s call revealed that Chopper, Robin, Nami, and Usopp had all been captured too.

The entire Straw Hat crew, except for Vir, was now in custody, being transported back to Mary Geoise.

With so many of his crew in danger, how could he stand by and do nothing?

But Imu’s power... even if every powerhouse in the pirate world banded together, they couldn’t defeat him. He was the strongest.

That was what the Rocks Pirates had proven all those years ago.

Fighting head-on based on strength alone wouldn’t work.

Gathering allies wouldn’t lead to victory.

Trying to sneak in and rescue his crewmates would likely just get him killed on the spot.

That was Imu—trying to take soone right from under his nose was probably nothing but a pipe dream.

Was there really no way out?

Vir’s brows were tightly knit. His system didn’t have anything that could boost his power—at most, the "Fad Blade: Fate’s End" could save his life once.

But that blade could, at best, let him save a single person by withstanding one of Imu’s attacks.

That wasn’t the answer he wanted.

If Imu was wary of him, then this plan to bring Chiba into the picture was starting to make sense.

Imu wanted to use Chiba to enhance his own power, preparing for whatever ca next.

That... that might be the key to turning this around.

But to defeat Imu, there was only one way.

He needed Imu’s physical attributes.

Imu’s arsenal was likely endless—his resources too vast. Trying to pinpoint and extract his physical attributes from that pile of abilities was like finding a needle in a haystack.

Was it really down to gambling?

But then—suddenly!

Vir’s eyes lit up.

At that very mont, the system’s store refreshed!

And what appeared nearly made him laugh out loud.

It wasn’t so outrageous tool or flashy weapon—just a small item.

A single finger.

[Great Desolate Imprisoning Heaven Finger - Designation]

Effect: Allows you to choose the ability you gain from a patient after treatnt. Can be used just before the reward is settled.

Price: 12,000,000 negative points

Description: For a youth defying the heavens to change his fate, this is as far as I can help you...

---

The Great Desolate Imprisoning Heaven Finger!

It let him designate the ability he’d gain after healing soone.

Priced at a staggering 12,000,000 negative points!

It was, without a doubt, the most expensive item he’d ever seen.

But in this situation, its value far surpassed those 12,000,000 points.

The mont Vir saw it, his mind was made up.

If he used it to gain Imu’s physical attributes, he’d ascend in an instant, becoming far stronger than Imu himself.

With an exoskeleton bonus defense, sit-up stamina recovery, triple-charged attacks, ti domain, ultra-powerful four-in-one lightning, Armant Haki, a second life through rebirth in flas, and countless other passive boosts—all would let him unleash the absolute limit of that body.

And the strongest boost of all ca from Kuma’s ability.

Kuma’s physique enhancent could increase his overall stats by a full 20%.

In other words, if he could get Imu’s physical attributes, his strength would instantly surpass Imu’s, making him the true strongest in the world.

And rescuing his captured crewmates would beco almost trivial.
