At that mont, Vir furrowed his brow.
What the heck?
He said he’s feeling better?
That shouldn’t be right. If the shape of his internal organs hadn’t changed, he should still be feeling so discomfort.
How could he suddenly be fine?
This guy isn’t just making it up, is he?
Vir didn’t waste ti with words. He imdiately got to work, activating his Observation Haki to scan Katakuri.
The result was imdiately clear.
This guy wasn’t lying—he was actually healed!
What the heck was going on?
Could it be... because of the Mochi-Mochi Fruit?
Did he sohow reshape himself during that frying process?
Man, that actually didn’t sound impossible.
If that was the case, the massage probably wasn’t even necessary.
But the dicine? Yeah, he still needed to take that.
On the wide deck, Katakuri lay sprawled out, with Vir crouching beside him.
A crowd of onlookers ford a circle around them.
In the background lood Whitebeard’s massive figure.
Not far off stood Brûlée.
"Well, he’s pretty much healed. Just take so dicine, and he’ll be good to go." Vir said, reaching into his dical kit.
He pulled out the dicine he’d ntioned.
Katakuri, hearing Vir confirm he was actually healed, looked even more baffled than before.
Just monts ago, it was only a feeling.
But now, the doctor himself said he was fine.
So it must really be true.
That whole process with the giant pot stir-fry and fork-and-knife tasting... it had actually been treatnt?
Katakuri’s eyes widened slightly.
At this mont, he truly felt like his worldview had been shattered.
This was... treatnt?
Has modern treatnt really beco this unrecognizable?
To be this abstract... isn’t that just way too ridiculous?
Feeling his fully recovered body, Katakuri was genuinely stunned.
The healing had happened so fast it caught him off guard.
They’d barely been with Vir for half an hour.
And now, he was already healed.
At this point, Katakuri was thoroughly convinced of Vir’s dical prowess.
A doctor under a Yonko—of course, even at worst, they wouldn’t be ordinary.
But even the very best doctors he had t before were completely helpless against his injuries.
So had even told him to eat sothing nice and call it a day.
But with Vir? A re ten minutes.
Ten minutes!
And he was healed.
Just like that.
A bit of dicine, and he’d be fully recovered.
The gap in skill was almost unimaginable.
THIS was a doctor.
With a doctor like this, what crew couldn’t rise to greatness?
As Katakuri’s thoughts raced, Vir had already prepared the dicine.
On the spacious deck, a dozen massive doughnuts were now laid out.
Super-sized.
At least, they seed that way to Vir.
For Katakuri, they were just the right size.
Looking at the doughnuts surrounding him, Katakuri was a bit dumbfounded.
Didn’t he say to take dicine?
Why was there a huge pile of doughnuts?
Not only that, but with just one glance and a whiff of their scent, Katakuri could tell these doughnuts were top-notch.
Could it be... the "dicine" Vir ntioned was these doughnuts?
Before he could think too much, the deck beneath him suddenly started to shake.
The wooden deck, right before Katakuri’s eyes, turned liquid and began to shift.
In re monts, a simple little hut enveloped him.
"There you go. That’s your dicine. Eat up, and you’ll be fully recovered." Vir’s voice rang out.
Katakuri stared at Vir’s retreating figure, his expression growing complex.
Did this guy know how sensitive he was about his mouth?
And yet... he’d gone out of his way to build a private hut just for him.
Truth be told, Katakuri felt a surprising warmth in his heart at that mont.
Vir’s actions really showed he understood him.
As Vir stepped out and closed the lone door behind him, Katakuri turned his attention to the doughnuts.
The air was filled with their sweet aroma.
It was already afternoon—perfect timing for Katakuri’s usual doughnut tea ti.
Looking at the giant doughnuts, his appetite surged.
His mouth started watering.
This was just too perfect.
Treatnt and doughnuts?
With no one else around, Katakuri didn’t hesitate. He took off his scarf...
---
Outside.
As Vir erged from the small hut, Brûlée hurried over.
"Doctor, is my brother really okay? If he is, I’ll let the family know he’s safe."
Brûlée had overheard Katakuri say he was fine.
That probably ant he was, right? But she still needed the doctor’s confirmation.
Under Brûlée’s hopeful gaze, Vir flashed a smile.
"He’s healed. After he takes his dicine, you can leave."
Brûlée could hardly believe her ears.
Her first thought: That was fast.
How long had they even been here?
They’d co prepared for a long treatnt process, and now, in just a short while, they were ready to leave.
It was almost too unreal.
After her shock faded, Brûlée imdiately pulled out her Den Den Mushi to call her siblings waiting for news back ho.
But just as she did, Vir stopped her.
"A regular call’s no fun. How about a video call?"
Before he could say more, Marco, who was holding onto Teach nearby, got the hint.
"Jozu, get this lady a Visual Den Den Mushi!"
Soon enough, a Visual Den Den Mushi was placed in front of Brûlée.
She felt a little awkward.
This... this was almost too hospitable, wasn’t it?
But since the doctor suggested it, Brûlée went along and made the video call.
Her gratitude toward Vir was already off the charts.
He hadn’t even asked for paynt, and all he suggested was a video call. What was the harm in that?
The call connected quickly.
The other side’s feed appeared on a screen Jozu had set up.
But the mont it connected, the Whitebeard crew jumped.
Holy crap.
So many people!
Yup, the screen was packed with dozens of faces.
All of Katakuri’s younger siblings.
"How’s it going, Brûlée? Why’re you calling now? Did sothing go wrong?" asked Perospero, the lollipop-wielding eldest brother, his voice full of concern.
They were terrified Brûlée’s call ant bad news—like Katakuri was gone.
But her expression didn’t seem like that.
"No, no! Nothing’s wrong! We just t Dr. Vir, and everything went smoothly on the way here."
"And Katakuri? How’s he doing?"
"He’s been healed! He just needs to finish his dicine, and we can head back."
Brûlée’s words left the other side in stunned silence.
Healed? Why did it sound so... casual?
With injuries that severe, she couldn’t be serious, right?
"Where’s Katakuri?" soone asked.
Brûlée was about to respond when Vir snatched the Den Den Mushi.
He’d been waiting for that question.
"I’ll show you!"
With that, Vir carried the Den Den Mushi toward the hut.
But this sent Brûlée into a panic!
Her brother Katakuri eating doughnuts was not sothing others could see!
She tried to stop Vir, but a flicker of blue flas appeared in front of her.
Marco, still holding Teach, gave her a subtle gesture, pressing his finger downward.
The ssage was clear.
Don’t move.
