The first half of the Grand Line, port.

At this mont, the port was already engulfed in flas, with six pirate ships spread out and surrounding the harbor.

Hundreds of pirates on shore were guarding the port entrance, and the ground was littered with the corpses of countless civilians.

The rest of the pirates were on various rchant ships, holding two sowhat blurry photos, searching for sothing.

"Doesn't look like her."

"Doesn't look like her."

"This one doesn't either."

"This one's kind of similar. Kill her."

"Don't let any children go, especially ones with purple hair."

"Hurry up and search."

"Yes!!!"

Cries and screams filled the ships. Better to kill the wrong one than to let the real one escape.

Anyone who bore even a slight resemblance to the woman in the blurry photo was slaughtered and tossed into the sea.

Inside the cabin, a mother and her child hid in a corner, clutching a Den Den Mushi.

When they vaguely heard the pirates outside ntion "purple hair," they were imdiately startled.

The mother seed to understand sothing. Her thoughts raced, and she made a firm decision.

She placed the child into a wooden barrel.

Strictly warned her child not to make a sound no matter what happened, not to co out.

She then covered the barrel with sothing, pressed her hand over her mouth, and with tears streaming down her face, moved to a distant room.

When the pirates eventually searched that room and opened the door—

She threw open the window and jumped out, landing on the deck.

She ran toward the railing and dove into the sea, swimming downward.

A few pirates cursed and jumped in after her.

Monts later, a stain of red spread in the water.

Then, a pirate surfaced, dragging the woman's corpse, shouting toward the ship:

"That bitch fooled us!"

"Which room did she jump out of?!"

"Search, now!!!"

"Zephyr's brat must be in that room!"

"Hurry up and find him!!!"

"Kill him!!!"

He shouted while dragging the woman's corpse toward the shore for disposal.

Hearing this, the pirates on the ship all sward into the room the woman had jumped from.

They ransacked the place madly, smashing everything. Even after destroying the entire room, they didn't find any sign of a hidden person.

The leading pirate imdiately realized sothing and grinned viciously:

"Tear this whole level apart!"

"Zephyr's brat is definitely on this floor!"

"Find him! I'm going to torture him to death!!!"

"Hahahahahahahaha!"

The surrounding pirates instantly got excited. Just thinking about getting revenge on Admiral Zephyr, even killing his brat—

Their hatred and excitent made them even more motivated.

Their bloodshot, crazed eyes scanned every inch of the surroundings, cruel and insane:

"Little brat!"

"Where are you!"

"Co out already!"

"Zephyr's brat!!!"

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!"

...

Finally, they found a cluttered storage room in the corner.

Like demons, the savage pirates smashed everything and easily found Admiral Zephyr's child.

One pirate grabbed the neck of the two-year-old child.

Looking at the flushed, struggling face of the child, a hint of satisfaction flashed in their eyes.

He couldn't be killed just yet, so the pirate loosened his grip a bit.

Dragging the child by the neck, he walked up to the deck:

"Boss! Found him!"

The pirate captain on the deck imdiately perked up:

"Quick! Bring him to !!!"

He took the purple-haired child with a twisted grin, gripping the child's neck.

As if admiring a work of art, he examined every inch of the child's skin:

"Zephyr… Bet you never thought this day would co!"

"Hahahahahaha!!!"

"Bring that woman's corpse here!"

"Take a picture for !"

"Put it in tomorrow's paper!"

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!"

As the pirate captain struck a pose, a clear snap echoed.

A photo erged from the cara.

The pirate captain's grotesque face, his foot stomping on the woman's corpse, one hand gripping the child's neck.

The child struggled helplessly, and the pirate captain laughed maniacally.

After the photo was taken, the pirate captain kept holding the child by the neck.

A flash of hatred appeared in his eyes, and he said cruelly:

"Bla your father, Zephyr."

He then prepared to crush the child's neck. The surrounding pirates watched with anticipation.

Crack!!!

A sudden thunderclap.

The deafening roar of thunder exploded next to their ears, their minds instantly blank.

A youthful voice, filled with fury, bood alongside the thunder:

"Stop!!!"

A bolt of lightning struck the deck right in front of the pirate captain.

Enel's figure materialized in an instant.

He had now grown into a graceful young man, more than twice his forr height.

Wearing a sleek Marine uniform, he looked strikingly handso, holding a golden staff in hand.

It was made from the golden suitcase Sakazuki once gave him.

His angry expression showed how deeply furious he was:

"Judgnt!"

A faint glow lit up the sky, followed by multiple bolts of lightning.

They struck down instantly, hitting all the pirates on this rchant ship.

The pirates dropped like flies—completely wiped out.

The pirates on surrounding ships began to converge, circling beneath the vessel.

Now, only Enel, the child in the pirate captain's grip, and the pirate captain himself remained on deck.

All other passengers on this ship had been killed by the pirates.

And the other pirates had just been electrocuted to death by Enel.

The pirate captain sneered cruelly and shook the purple-haired child:

"Logia-type, huh? I'm so scared."

"Why don't you strike , kid?"

He then shook the purple-haired child harder, like a toy.

Enel's expression darkened in fury.

He gripped the golden staff in both hands, aiming it at the pirate captain.

Swish!

Using his Devil Fruit powers, he activated Soru and vanished.

He appeared right in front of the pirate captain, swinging the staff at the hand holding the child.

The pirate captain's vicious smile remained unchanged.

He watched wide-eyed as the golden staff smashed toward his wrist.
