The wings of King, in his Pteranodon form, suddenly spread wide with a jolt.

He shot straight up into the sky from where he stood.

Dodging the rain-like barrage of sword energy.

Then, high in the sky, he drew a wide arc.

And dove down:

"Vermilion Bow Emperor."

His wings, coated in Haki, exuded a sharp aura like blades.

He charged at Karol with incredible speed.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!...

The sound of clashing tal rang out endlessly, sparks flying.

King's wings were like a pair of sharp long blades.

He attacked Karol relentlessly.

The afterimage of Karol's Oto traced through the air.

He blocked every blow without fail.

Fighting while retreating.

The ground split open in countless places along the way.

Dust and sword energy mingled together.

Their figures were swallowed up in the chaos.

Just then—

King let out a muffled grunt.

His body paused montarily, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

The burst of force had pulled on the internal organs recently injured by Sakazuki.

Karol's expression sharpened.

Sword energy and Haki erupted, blowing away the surrounding dust.

Seizing the opportunity, he gripped his blade with both hands:

A crisp cry rang out.

Azure sword energy ford into the shape of a bluebird.

It flickered left and right like lightning.

And shot toward King.

King's Pteranodon head suddenly yanked backward:

"Imperial Slings And Arrows."

He lunged forward.

Whoosh—

A laser-like blast shot toward the sword energy.

Boom!!!

The massive explosion from the collision dispersed the smoke.

Both were thrown back by the shockwave.

They steadied themselves, locking eyes.

From the distant battlefield ca Kaido's roar.

A blue dragon could be seen surging straight toward the sky.

But sothing held it back.

It was slamd fiercely into the ground.

Boom!!!

A massive tremor followed.

King reverted to his half-beast form midair, anxiety flashing in his eyes.

He took a deep breath and drew his long blade.

The flas burning on his body ignited along the blade and exploded outward.

A vividly lifelike fire dragon took shape.

King slashed toward Karol

Rooaaar——

A dragon's roar echoed out as the fire dragon's flas surged.

It charged at Karol.

Karol exhaled softly, adjusting his stance.

Both hands gripped the sword as he moved it to his right side.

An azure aura enveloped his body.

He looked toward the charging fire dragon:

"One-Sword Style..."

The long blade traced a scar across the air.

Rooaaar——

A dragon's roar followed.

An azure sword energy dragon burst forth from the blade scar.

Accompanied by the hum of the blade, it launched forward like a missile.

It surged toward the fire dragon.

Sharp sword energy collided with raging flas,

Neutralizing and rging.

Ssshhh——

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!....

Explosions thundered in succession.

BOOM!!!!!!

After a deafening blast, a wave of heat swept out.

A giant mushroom cloud rose into the sky.

Karol was forced back by the explosion.

anwhile, King used the blast's force to escape, letting out a low grunt.

He reverted to Pteranodon form and shot rapidly toward Kaido.

...

At the sa ti, over at Kaido and Sakazuki's location—

Kaido, in his half-beast dragon-man form,

Was pinned to the ground on one knee by several magma spears coated in Armant Haki.

Sakazuki held Kaido's kanabo in one hand.

He walked toward Kaido.

Energy gathered in Kaido's mouth.

Sakazuki noticed,

But wasn't concerned.

By now, all of Kaido's joints had been shattered by Sakazuki.

Temporarily pinned with magma spears.

Even though Kaido had the Azure Dragon fruit, a Mythical Zoan, regeneration still took ti.

Not to ntion—Kaido hadn't awakened his fruit yet.

His recovery wasn't that monstrous.

Suddenly, Sakazuki looked north.

A flaming Pteranodon was flying toward him.

Energy was also building in its mouth.

Sakazuki raised an eyebrow:

"It flies, huh."

In that case...

He raised his hand toward the charging King.

And swung upward.

In front of King, a massive magma greatsword, dozens of ters wide, erupted from the ground.

With its speed and advanced Observation Haki prediction,

King had no ti to dodge.

A flash of ruthlessness crossed his eyes.

The attack building in his mouth was about to launch toward Sakazuki.

At that mont, from below—

Kaido, pinned by spears, suddenly looked up.

And aid at the incoming King.

A heat breath blast shot out.

Like a laser beam.

The golden heat breath, several ters thick, collided with the top of the Severing Cliff Sword.

Kaido roared:

"Run! Find your chance....."

BOOM!!!!!!

Before he could finish—

A whistling sound pierced the air.

The kanabo, wrapped in Conqueror's Haki, smashed into Kaido's head.

Cutting him off.

Shattering the Haki-infused magma spears around him.

Kaido was knocked out cold.

Sakazuki exhaled lightly as he looked at the unconscious Kaido.

Then, with a dark sense of amusent, he muttered:

"Thunder Bagua."

He casually tossed the kanabo aside.

By then, King had already vanished into the distance as a black speck.

Sakazuki narrowed his eyes slightly.

The last remaining...

At that mont, Karol walked over:

"Vice Admiral Sakazuki."

Sakazuki gave a low "Mm" and asked:

"How long until the warship arrives?"

Karol answered:

"About half an hour."

Sakazuki nodded.

Using magma, he ford chains.

Coated them in Haki.

And bound all of Kaido's joints.

Then said to Karol:

"Bring a few more Seastone chains later."

"We're transporting him to Punk Hazard."

Next, he extended his Observation Haki.

Both arms transford into magma and lifted up.

Aid at the surviving remnants of the Beasts Pirates fleeing to sea.

Endless smoke and magma erupted outward:

"teor Volcano."
