"I... I'm not sure what's happening either," Michael shook his head.
"Tell , is this a good thing or a bad thing?"
"Good! Absolutely a trendous good thing!" Vegapunk answered excitedly. "Originally, I thought using only the bloodline power of the Lunarian Race wouldn't do justice to the na 'Seraphim'... But your Lineage Factor seems to have completely fused with your Devil Fruit abilities."
Seeing Vegapunk's confident deanor, Michael began to form his own thoughts.
In other words, he could now be considered a true angel.
If the Seraphim could inherit his Lineage Factor, then their basic capabilities would undoubtedly surpass those of the Pacifistas.
And he wondered if his Lineage Factor could grant the Seraphim so of his Devil Fruit abilities.
If that were possible...
Then even without Kizaru's laser abilities, it wouldn't matter.
"Enough of this idle talk... The real priority is to start experints and verify these theories of yours!"
Michael's words snapped the three awestruck Vegapunks out of their daze.
Without another word to Michael, the three carefully carried his Lineage Factor like a precious treasure to the Seraphim research area.
Left with nothing to do, Michael walked out of the Lineage Factor extraction room.
These experints would likely take a while.
"Michael, why did Vegapunk and the others run off so excitedly just now?" Crocodile stood beside Michael, the faint smoke from her cigarette curling like hooks that sharply caught his attention.
"Weren't they supposed to need your help?"
"Seems like... the help is already done," Michael shrugged. "They just extracted my Lineage Factor."
"Extracting Lineage Factors, huh... Tch. After everything that happened with the Germa Kingdom, I'm surprised you agreed to this."
"Well, the circumstances were completely different from the start."
Michael shrugged.
...
Under the guidance of Crocodile and Stella, Michael and his group arrived at the Seraphim research area after their tour.
At this mont, apart from York, representing "Desire," and Atlas, representing "Fury," the other four clones were working alongside Vegapunk's main body, operating various instrunts with intense focus.
"Final step! Inject Michael's Lineage Factor!"
With Vegapunk's excited voice, Shaka, Lilith, Edison, and Pythagoras simultaneously pushed the switches in their hands.
A series of chanical components shing together echoed through the room as Michael's shimring Holy light-infused Lineage Factor was channeled through the tubes connected to the Seraphim.
Almost instantly upon contact with Michael's Lineage Factor, all the Seraphim began trembling violently.
As they trembled, their appearances underwent noticeable changes.
For instance, the purplish-black wings on their backs—whether large or small—gradually transford from the roots to the very tips of each feather, turning pure white.
The flas at the back of their heads, characteristic of the Lunarian Race, also shifted to the color of Holy Fla.
The Seraphim themselves underwent transformations as well.
Originally, their appearances were childlike versions of their Lineage Factor donors.
But now, the color of their hair had been completely dyed in platinum white, identical to Michael's.
The next mont, all the Seraphim opened their eyes simultaneously.
This sudden developnt startled all the Vegapunks.
After all, they hadn't officially activated the Seraphim yet!
How had they suddenly started up on their own?
But the Seraphim gave the Vegapunks no ti to react.
They all reached out, tearing off the various tubes attached to their bodies, their gazes locking onto Michael's direction...
Then, they began wailing loudly, rolling back and forth on the floor.
"Waaah! Mama! Food! Hungry!"
The powerful tremors caused by the Seraphim's vigorous rolling paled in comparison to the sheer bewildernt everyone felt inside.
Especially Michael.
He could sense that the "Mama" the Seraphim were calling out to was undoubtedly referring to him!
"Hiss! Strange! Too strange!" Vegapunk exclaid, stepping forward to examine the rolling "big babies" on the floor.
"This doesn't make sense! In the personalities I programd for them, aside from inheriting so traits from their Lineage Factor donors, they were supposed to be quiet and reliable adults! Why has this reset phenonon occurred?"
"All we can say is... Michael's Lineage Factor is simply too powerful?" Shaka mused, checking paraters on the instrunts before concluding.
"Because the Lineage Factor is overwhelmingly strong, it triggered a reset to overwrite the originally programd redundant sequences... That's the only plausible explanation, since all the paraters are perfectly normal."
The personality reset of the Seraphim also elicited quite the reactions from others.
For example, Stella and Crocodile, the original Lineage Factor donors, watched as their toddler versions threw tantrums on the floor, montarily at a loss for words.
"I told you this was a bad idea!" Crocodile gritted her teeth. "Just thinking about this Seraphim calling Michael 'Mommy' when it was created using my Lineage Factor as the base... ugh, I'm getting goosebumps!"
"This feeling... isn't so bad." Stella's face oddly flushed red.
"In a way, this is a life created by both and Michael together..."
"Wait... you're still thinking about that kind of thing at a ti like this?" Crocodile's lips twitched.
"Love-sickness needs treatnt! Even though we agreed on fair competition... your self-romanticizing is next-level insane! Besides, this isn't just your Seraphim! I have one too! And it's not just us two - there are also Seraphim made from Hawkeye and Rosinante, two grown n!"
Jack patted Yamato's shoulder sympathetically - Yamato's eyes had already lost their light.
"sigh... don't get stuck in this ntal loop. Think of it this way - they're just clones."
"But they call people 'Mommy' and beg for hugs!" Yamato snapped back to reality with a fierce glint between their brows.
"In for a penny, in for a pound... if I lay down and throw a tantrum too, could I win, Jack?"
"W-would you?" Jack said between laughter and tears.
"A full-grown adult throwing a tantrum for hugs... wouldn't Michael-sama just send you to the Revolutionary Army's First Hospital as ntally deficient?"
