Sylvia Sterling ca prepared!
As soon as she heard from Owen Rhodes that Sebastian Blackwood was at ho, she made up her mind.
She wanted this man, by any ans necessary!
At this mont, as she decided to push open the frosted bathroom door, she took out the rose-scented spray she had prepared in advance.
The scent was similar to the shower gel, yet it could cause temporary unconsciousness.
And upon waking, there would be no recollection of it.
"Master Blackwood, perhaps you shouldn’t have provoked in the first place, but since you did, you must take responsibility to the end."
Sylvia Sterling quickly caught Sebastian Blackwood’s body and whispered in a low voice.
Moreover, she had already saved his life twice, putting her heart into it.
His life was saved by her, so why couldn’t he belong to her?
...
Half an hour later.
Sebastian Blackwood awoke, the towel he had wrapped around his lean waist was still there, but he was now lying in bed.
"Master Blackwood, you’re awake."
At this ti, Sylvia Sterling walked over, carrying a cup of hot water and several boxes of pills in her hands.
"Fortunately, I ca just in ti. When I arrived, I found you fainted on the floor. Was it another heart pain attack?"
Sylvia Sterling calmly recounted, walking up to the man and handing him the pills and hot water.
"These are new treatnt drugs developed by my ntor and after you left. Try them out for a while, and they should greatly alleviate your heart pain."
Sylvia Sterling stood at the foot of the man’s bed, speaking clearly and logically.
Sebastian Blackwood swallowed; he detected a faint scent on himself but didn’t think much of it.
The sll was very similar to his customized shower gel.
But he remained skeptical about fainting from the pain.
Still, on the surface, he maintained his composure and humd in response, taking the water and pills from Sylvia Sterling’s hand.
"Thank you, Dr. Sterling."
"No problem, you’re my patient. It’s my duty to cure your condition completely."
Sylvia Sterling smiled sincerely.
Seeing him take the dicine, Sylvia Sterling added, "Master Blackwood, I won’t disturb you further. Please co to the hospital again later; I need to perform a full-body check-up on you."
She instructed carefully, and Sebastian Blackwood nodded, draped a piece of clothing over himself, and saw her out.
"Master Blackwood, you can stop here, thank you for seeing out."
Sylvia Sterling maintained a thodical distance between herself and Sebastian Blackwood, knowing she couldn’t let him sense her intentions yet. Otherwise, even if Sebastian ignored his illness, he would make her leave.
Finished speaking, Sylvia Sterling turned and left.
As soon as she left, Sebastian Blackwood’s already cold expression turned even more placid.
Sylvia Sterling’s words were questionable. He didn’t believe he would faint from heart pain; it was sothing he could endure.
His first instinct was to check the surveillance, but then he realized: where did that detestable woman, Ivy Kensington, vanish to?
The cleaning wasn’t even done, and she dared to run off?
Reckless!
With anger deepening on his face, Sebastian Blackwood put one hand on his hip, about to call Ivy Kensington to demand where she went, when he saw a small note left on the study table.
His dark eyes narrowed slightly, and he strode over, picking it up to read.
On it was written—Cleaning finished, I left first.
The tone was cold, and just by reading the words, he could imagine the expression on Ivy Kensington’s face when she wrote them.
What was bothering her now?
What made her angry?
Annoyed, he closed his eyes, and at that mont, the phone rang with its lodious tone—it was Owen Rhodes calling: "Master Blackwood, the kidnapper who collaborated with Evan Lowell to stage the kidnapping has been found!"
