Just then, Sebastian Blackwood entered the kitchen unannounced. Ivy Kensington, carrying the dishes without noticing his presence, bumped into him.

"Ah..."

She let out a small gasp, nearly spilling the sparerib lotus soup she was holding.

At the crucial mont, it was Sebastian who reached out and steadied her. Ivy swallowed nervously, finally calming down.

Looking up, she saw the concerned gaze in the man’s eyes.

"Are you okay?"

Ivy’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat, and she hesitated for half a second before shaking her head, "I’m fine."

She had wanted to chide him for suddenly entering the kitchen and startling her, but the words wouldn’t co out.

"Let take it."

Unaware of her reaction, Sebastian took the bowl of lotus soup with spareribs from her hands, his tall figure turning to leave ahead.

Ivy had no choice but to follow his lead. The three dishes and one soup were set on the dining table. She said, "My cooking skills are average. If you don’t like it..."

Before she could finish, Sebastian calmly started eating.

Monts later, his deep voice interrupted her, "Delicious."

Ivy was montarily at a loss for words, then smiled slightly, "Of course it’s delicious. I spent a long ti cooking it."

Sebastian glanced at her with a nonchalant gaze, "Hmm, really impressive."

Ivy: "..."

Being praised by him like this made her a little embarrassed.

Burying her head in her bowl, Ivy’s ears tinged with a faint redness, her heartbeat quickened as she focused on eating, ignoring him.

By the ti they finished the al, it was already two in the afternoon.

Ivy said, "As promised, take to see Ronnie."

She felt a bit anxious, worried about what if Sebastian went back on his word this ti.

But Sebastian stood up, holding the car keys, and headed out: "Follow ."

Seeing this, Ivy’s eyes lit up.

It seems he’s really going to take her to see Ronnie!

She wasn’t wrong to trust him!

Yesterday, Arthur Blackwood had offered to take her to see Ronnie in exchange for doing sothing for him, but she had refused. The text ssage today had also been from Arthur, which she also declined.

As it turned out, when they arrived at the underground parking lot via elevator, they ran into Arthur Blackwood!

"Where are you two headed?"

Arthur approached with a smile, acting as if he’d never exchanged a word with Ivy before.

Ivy frowned in disgust, instinctively grabbing hold of Sebastian’s large hand, "Ignore him, let’s just go."

Sebastian’s gaze slightly darkened, thoughtfully looking at her small hand on his, his pale lips curling imperceptibly.

"Okay."

He agreed, quickly leading her into the car, and the vehicle drove out of the underground parking lot.

Seeing the two treat him with such disregard, Arthur was infuriated!

"That wretched woman, really has no sha!"

Just wait, there’s a day she’ll regret it!

Inside the car, after so ti.

It finally sunk in for Ivy that she’d subconsciously grabbed Sebastian’s hand, and she hurriedly let go, stamring, "D-don’t misunderstand, I didn’t have any other intentions, just wanted to get away quickly, that’s why I grabbed your hand..."

The more she tried to explain, the deeper Sebastian’s smile beca.

He oh-so-aningfully responded, in a tone clearly playful!
