Arthur Blackwood said, "Why would I lie to you?"

With that, he took out his phone and opened the album.

"Look, isn’t this Ronnie."

He turned the phone screen toward Ivy Kensington.

Ivy looked closely, her gaze instantly tense. It really was Ronnie, but it looked like it was Ronnie from two years ago!

How does he have this?

Arthur Blackwood showed her briefly before putting the phone away, then said, "I absolutely won’t lie to you. As long as you help with one thing, I can let you see Ronnie, let you two reunite as mother and daughter."

He couldn’t help but feel relieved.

The reason he had a photo of Ronnie was because when she was first recognized back by the Blackwood family, he had soone investigate this girl.

After Ronnie settled in, he forgot to delete the photo, and it’s been kept until now. He didn’t expect it would really co in handy now!

Ivy did not choose to trust him just because of that photo from a few years ago.

Now the internet is so advanced, if he had intent, couldn’t he easily find soone with so tech skills to steal a photo of Ronnie?

Moreover, this person didn’t look like a good guy at all.

She’s not that foolish.

Compared to the person in front of her, she would rather believe in Sebastian Blackwood.

Ivy ignored him and turned to leave.

She still needed to think of a way to contact Sebastian Blackwood!

Seeing her about to leave, Arthur Blackwood gritted his teeth. Damn it, why won’t this woman take the bait!

His eyes shifted as he said, "I know where Ronnie is right now! She’s in the hospital, injured, so they don’t want you to see her!"

What?

Ivy’s steps paused. How could Ronnie be injured?

"Explain what you just said clearly!"

She hurriedly chased after Arthur Blackwood.

But Arthur Blackwood just smiled, deliberately being evasive: "Didn’t you just not believe ? Why are you asking now?"

Ivy was montarily speechless, then quickly said, "Explain things clearly. It’s not impossible for to help if you do."

Right now, they were in a situation where they both needed sothing from the other, neither holding an advantage!

Sure enough, Arthur Blackwood also paused, and after a mont, he said, "Ronnie is hospitalized. She was admitted last night! Didn’t you see Owen Rhodes earlier with a bag in his hand? It must be related to Ronnie’s injury report, definitely no mistake there!"

Arthur Blackwood was very certain about this.

The fact that Ronnie was hospitalized was sothing he accidentally overheard, it was when Owen Rhodes was reporting to Sebastian Blackwood. Sebastian left the company after that, only returning this morning.

Ivy’s gaze trembled slightly. No wonder Sebastian Blackwood didn’t let her see Ronnie, so that’s what happened...

But unexpectedly, she was unwilling to believe such things in her heart.

She felt that Sebastian Blackwood wasn’t soone who would harm Ronnie, but...

"Guess who I ran into at the hospital just now?"

At this mont, a young man with a bandage on his hand walked by, sharing sothing secretively with his colleague, "I saw Master Blackwood, what a coincidence, right? And I also saw Master Blackwood go into the pediatric clinic, his hands were all covered in blood..."

"Scared the hell out of , I didn’t dare approach to say hello! Then I saw Master Blackwood had Special Assistant Rhodes return first."

The person continued, "Our company does have a bit of humanity. Two days ago, I slipped while showering and broke a bone. They actually approved my leave and said they wouldn’t deduct my salary. Just for that, I would never speak badly of our company, haha... Now I get to enjoy a few days off at ho, it’s great..."

Ivy didn’t hear a word after that. All she heard was that Sebastian Blackwood had gone to the pediatric clinic and his hands were covered in blood...

Sothing really happened!
