And just then, footsteps ca from the far end of the corridor, Owen Rhodes approached.
"Master Blackwood..."
Owen ca tonight with Sebastian Blackwood to discuss business; they’ve just returned to the country, and the most important thing now is to stabilize the cooperation partners who have dealt with Sebastian Blackwood for years.
It’s just that Sebastian has been out with Ronnie for quite a while, and there’s still no sign of him, making the partners a bit impatient.
Owen ca out to look for him, and seeing Ivy Kensington, he was montarily stunned, then nodded respectfully, "Miss Kensington, good evening."
Who is this person, and why does he know her as well?
Ivy Kensington furrowed her brows tightly, her eyes full of unfamiliar emotions.
These people, aside from Ronnie, she doesn’t know any of them and has never seen them before!
Suddenly, Ivy Kensington beca more alert, glaring at Sebastian Blackwood, angrily saying, "Let go of !"
Having finally caught her, how could Sebastian Blackwood possibly let her go so easily? He shot Owen a cold glance and ordered, "Take Ronnie downstairs first."
"Yes, Master Blackwood."
Owen took his orders, quickly picked up Ronnie. Ronnie obediently followed Owen, waving a small hand to Ivy Kensington, "Mommy, see you tomorrow~"
"Ronnie!"
Ivy Kensington was terribly anxious; this detestable kidnapper even called for help to bribe Ronnie.
Ronnie is still so young, naturally unable to see through their sches, and naively followed along.
"Let go, get lost!"
Ivy Kensington’s eyes were red with anger, tears uncontrollably rolling down as she anxiously looked toward the direction Ronnie had headed.
Sebastian Blackwood watched the change in her expression, his previous suspicion now confird.
She’s not pretending; she truly doesn’t recognize him or Owen anymore!
A wave of irritation surged inside him, and he raised his hand, gripping the woman’s delicate chin.
"Ivy Kensington, how dare you forget !?"
He had thought that after leaving for two months, Ivy would surely be angry seeing him again.
But he never imagined she would actually forget him, not even knowing who he is when they et again!
His heart felt as if being torn apart by a large hand, a trace of blood red engraved deep in Sebastian’s eyes.
This damned woman knows just how to pierce his heart.
They went through so much; it was hard to finally understand each other, even if there was so misunderstanding before. But with hearts holding each other, clearing up the misunderstanding would be fine, yet she went ahead and forgot him!
Sebastian’s throat felt tight, bitter beyond asure.
In the more than two months abroad, facing life and death on nurous occasions, he had never lost control like this.
Ivy Kensington looked at him bewildered; this man was always cold and indifferent, yet in this mont, she saw so pain and sadness in his gaze.
Why?
Ivy didn’t understand, but her heart ached in her chest, feeling a sudden urge to cry.
In a mont of distraction, Sebastian Blackwood was already carrying her toward the hotel’s top floor.
"What are you doing?"
Ivy Kensington panicked instantly; it was all this bastard’s fault, using the trick of emotional appeal earlier, nearly deceiving her.
Sebastian Blackwood looked at her, half-smiling, the emotions in his eyes swirling, finally releasing a single word from his thin lips leisurely: "You."
What?
Ivy Kensington was stunned, spending quite a bit of ti connecting that single word to her question, her small face imdiately flushing red.
"Bastard, don’t even think about taking advantage of ! My fiancé is right in the restaurant downstairs, if he finds out you’re putting your hands on , he’ll teach you a lesson!"
