Gunshots seed to still be echoing in her ears, Claire’s face turning white with fear, her heart pounding wildly.
By the ti she finally reached the hotel where she was staying, her legs were weak. She clearly saw several bullet hole marks on the car she had ridden in.
"What bad luck!"
She feigned composure and cursed again as she got out of the car.
Just then, a motorcycle zood past her, "Ah!"
Claire scread in shock as an arm wrapped around her waist and she was scooped onto the motorcycle.
"Whoosh——"
The sound of the wind howling past her eardrums terrified Claire to the point of being pale-faced!
How could she be so unlucky? Coming to France, not a single good thing had happened!
Just when Claire thought the gusty wind would disfigure her face, the motorcycle ca to a stop and she was thrown into an underground parking garage.
