Ivy Kensington picked up the photo, her gaze suddenly sharpened.

This woman, of course, she wasn’t unfamiliar, because it was Yasmin Irvine!

Ivy’s fingers stiffened slightly as she grasped the photo, and she swallowed hard before asking, "Why do you have a photo of my mother?"

Leo Sherman lowered his eyes and laughed.

He said, "Because she is my mother too."

What?

Ivy’s pupils contracted, and she stood there in disbelief.

How could this be?

Didn’t he say last ti that both his parents were still alive and were retired teachers?

How could Yasmin Irvine be his mother?

For a mont, Ivy felt her head spinning.

Seeing her shocked and puzzled expression, Leo Sherman gave a gentle smile and began to explain, "My current parents are actually my adoptive parents. I was adopted by them when I was five."

Ivy remained silent, listening to him continue, "Before I was five, I lived with my mother in another place. Later, we couldn’t stay there anymore, so my mother took and left."

"Here, my mother t another man, with the surna Ford."

Ivy pressed her lips tightly. This must be referring to Theodore Ford.

"Uncle Ford was a good man. He accepted my mother and also accepted . We thought my mother and I could continue living here, but unexpectedly, so mishap occurred, and I got separated from my mother and was sent to an orphanage."

"And at that ti, my mother was pregnant with you. After so many years, I thought I would never find you, but unexpectedly, we t again sohow."

Leo Sherman spoke with emotion.

Since coming of age, he had been searching for Ivy and Yasmin Irvine’s whereabouts, and it had been nearly ten years. Just when he thought he might be searching for a lifeti, he unexpectedly found Ivy.

The first ti he saw Ivy, he felt a sense of familiarity.

He had seen the image of Yasmin Irvine in the photo countless tis. Looking closely, he noticed the resemblance in features between Ivy and Yasmin Irvine.

This was his sister, without a doubt.

Last ti, he had quietly taken a strand of Ivy’s hair for testing, and the results were indeed correct. Ivy was the sister he had been searching for!

Ivy listened in a daze to everything he revealed, her eyes astonished.

"So you really are... my brother?"

She hadn’t expected to find a blood relative after Theodore Ford passed away.

Leo Sherman nodded and handed the test report to Ivy.

"I’m sorry I did this test without your permission last ti, but the results show we are indeed related."

Ivy glanced at the test docunt, and upon seeing the final result, she knew Leo Sherman wasn’t lying to her.

At that mont, a mix of emotions surged within her.

Leo Sherman then stood up and approached her side.

"Would you mind if your brother gave you a hug?"

Ivy gazed at him for a while, feeling a gentle sense of warmth in her heart, and she nodded slightly.

Then Leo Sherman leaned down and politely hugged Ivy’s shoulders.

"Master Blackwood, Madam has been found—"

Outside the cafe, Owen Rhodes stopped the Maybach and reported to the man in the back seat.

The tinted window slowly rolled down, revealing Sebastian Blackwood’s sharply defined jawline turning slightly to the side, imdiately locking onto the figures inside the cafe.

Heh.

So this business she spoke of was actually eting another man.
