Ivy Kensington’s hand holding the edge of the phone suddenly started to tremble.
"What’s wrong?"
Sebastian Blackwood noticed sothing was off about her, his deep eyes slightly squinted, and he glanced over.
Ivy Kensington instinctively turned the phone screen face down and shook her head, saying, "It’s nothing."
Seeing this, Sebastian Blackwood’s Adam’s apple moved slightly, but he didn’t ask anything, naturally pulling her into his arms.
"Let’s go pick up Ginny and Cody to take them ho."
Ginny and Cody have been staying at Sharon Langley’s house for a while, this ti they’re bringing them back to Blackwood Manor.
Cody was overjoyed: "Mommy, are we going to leave again later?"

Looking down, Sebastian Blackwood saw Ginny’s indifferent face just like his own; he curled his lips slightly.
He asked softly, "Want to hold you, too?"
"No."
Ginny rejected him with a look of disdain.
Cody chid in, "Brother, try it. Daddy is so tall, when he lifts you up it’s really high, so different!"
Though Ivy Kensington also held them, they were much older now; Cody could sense often Ivy struggled to hold them, her hands might drop down.
But Sebastian Blackwood was different; he was tall, and his arms were strong.
It gave Cody an unprecedented sense of security.
Upon hearing this, Ginny’s cold little face pondered for half a second, but before he could reach a conclusion, Sebastian Blackwood calmly lifted him into his arms.
"Ah!"
Ginny let out a surprised yelp as his cool facade cracked slightly.
So this was how it felt to be lifted by Daddy, it wasn’t as repulsive as he thought...
Ginny said quietly to himself.
Watching the father and sons interact, Ivy Kensington’s uneasy heart slowly settled into a sense of reality.
Indeed, remarrying was a wise choice, at least for Ginny and Cody, it wasn’t a bad thing.
