Ivy Kensington sneered inwardly.
Sophie Sullivan’s little scheming didn’t bother her at all; she was just playing along to see what she was up to.
She used so herbs she always carried to make Sophie tell the truth.
Now that Sophie and Claire Crowley have fallen out, it’s just reaping what she sowed!
Claire’s face was unbecomingly green. Not only was Sophie the laughing stock, she was ridiculed too, since Sophie’s words were extrely harsh!
"I told you, Ivy Kensington is no pushover."
Miles Pierce pushed his glasses up aningfully.
Julian Hawthorne clicked his tongue twice, "She’s got so skills; no wonder Brother Blackwood can’t forget her."
Sebastian Blackwood lowered his eyes, and no one could see his thoughts clearly. But obviously, the man wasn’t angry about it; in fact, a slight smile played on his thin lips.
Ivy Kensington didn’t care about what others thought, glanced at Sebastian Blackwood, and said, "I’m leaving."
She hadn’t wanted to co here in the first place; he was the one who brought her.
Sebastian Blackwood grunted in agreent, his handso face uncharacteristically gentle.
They left Pinewood Manor.
"Wait."
Claire Crowley called out to her.
Now, with just the two of them, Claire finally tore off her gentle, understanding mask she wore in front of others, glaring hatefully at Ivy.
"You know I’m with Master Blackwood, but you still cling to him. Are you trying to be the other woman?"
"The other woman?"
Ivy repeated the words playfully, then laughed, "Miss Crowley, when I was with Sebastian Blackwood, you were still playing your part in so corner. Those words are more fitting for you."
"Besides, you and Sebastian Blackwood aren’t even married, so don’t take yourself too seriously."
Ivy spoke with a breezy indifference.
Back when Nina Shaw was so important to Sebastian Blackwood, didn’t she end up in prison?
Claire Crowley?
She wasn’t even a match for Nina Shaw, so what did she count for?
Claire was so infuriated by her attitude and words that she almost trembled. She took several deep breaths to calm herself down, deliberately touching her abdon.
She said, feigning innocence, "That night, Master Blackwood was so fierce, he took several tis. Maybe I’m already carrying his child."
Ivy’s gaze darkened slightly.
Claire imdiately laughed, "Miss Kensington, you’re a smart person; you should know what an heir ans to an elite family."
But Ivy couldn’t be bothered to listen to her anymore and turned around without hesitation.
If she ends up pregnant with Sebastian Blackwood’s child, then they can talk.
Back at the villa.
Sebastian Blackwood hadn’t returned; he went to the group to handle business.
Ivy wasn’t eager to see him anyway, which was a relief, but she didn’t expect to hear sothing big from Ronnie’s mouth: "Mommy, Ginny and Cody had a fight and are ignoring each other!"
What?
Those two little guys got along so well usually, yet they were in a cold war?
Ivy found it unbelievable.
Just then, Ginny descended in the elevator, her little face full of cool indifference.
Cody followed behind him, usually the little troublemaker who loved to cling to people, but now he had the sa cold expression.
The two brothers were replicas of each other, ignoring everyone.
It made Ivy unable to hold back a laugh.
"Ginny, Cody, can you tell Mommy what your fight was about?"
Ivy pulled the two little troublemakers into her arms, asking gently.
"Hmph!"
Ginny snorted coldly and said, "I won’t play with a little traitor who doesn’t care for Mommy."
"I’m not a little traitor!"
Cody angrily furrowed his little brows and retorted, "Ginny is a anie, falsely accusing !"
Upon hearing this, Ivy guessed the reason for their quarrel. As she was about to diate, a lodious phone ringtone suddenly rang out...
