Sharon Langley hesitated to speak.
The two had just fallen out, and it was clear that Sebastian Blackwood was particularly displeased with Ivy Kensington defending Austin Ford. Going to see him now would be like walking into a lion’s den.

"Ronnie, if that woman Ivy Kensington cos to see you in the future, don’t believe her."
Sebastian Blackwood never spoke to Ronnie about Ivy before. This was the first ti, as he didn’t want Ronnie to follow Ivy.
That woman is too ruthless.
She abandoned her own daughter for four years, and today she even used Ronnie to plead for another man.
Thinking of this filled Sebastian with anger.
Ronnie looked at her daddy’s angry expression, hesitating whether to tell him that today’s events were all a play she and mummy put on to deceive him?
If daddy finds out, he’ll probably be so mad he’ll spank her.
Thinking this, Ronnie swallowed her words. Alright, she’d confess once daddy wasn’t so angry.
"Got it, daddy."
Ronnie nodded obediently.
"Hmm."
Sebastian patted Ronnie’s head, turned around, and went back to his room. Not long after, he ca back out.
"Daddy, are you going to the company?"
Ronnie blinked her big eyes in inquiry.
Sebastian nodded, saying, "Would Ronnie like to co with daddy?"
For the past four years, because of her autism, Ronnie didn’t like to talk to others much besides Sebastian. Sebastian knew his daughter relied on him and would often take her to the Blackwood Group.
Ronnie shook her head, "No, daddy."
Sebastian thought she was scared by today’s events, his deep eyes darkened slightly, but Ronnie quickly ran back to her room.
On her smartwatch, there was a ssage from Ivy Kensington: [Ronnie, is your daddy at ho?]
Ronnie: [Mummy, co over, daddy just left for work and won’t be back!]
Even if he ca back, it wouldn’t be until evening. Ronnie was especially confident about this.
Ivy: [Thank you, darling.]
Half an hour later, Ivy arrived at Blackwood Manor.
"Mummy."
Ronnie quickly slipped into Ivy’s arms.
Ivy kissed her, asking, "Are you hungry? After mummy gets what she needs, we’ll go eat with Ginny and Cody."
"Okay."
Ronnie nodded obediently. She knew Ivy was here to get Austin’s phone.
"Alright then, I’ll ask Ronnie to wait for mummy just a bit."
After saying this, Ivy went to Sebastian’s bedroom.
Ronnie swung her little legs, sitting on the sofa waiting for her.
"Ding——"
With a light sound, the main door of the manor suddenly rang.
Ronnie looked up and saw her daddy, who had just said he was going to work, returning ho!
Ronnie’s face turned pale at once.
Oh my gosh!
Why did daddy suddenly co back!
Mummy’s in big trouble now...
As soon as Sebastian ca in, he saw Ronnie staring blankly at him, and the man smiled with thin lips raised.
"Daddy ca back to accompany you, so happy you’re shocked?"
Sebastian had originally planned to go to the company, but thinking that Ronnie had been frightened today, he had Owen Rhodes send all the docunts over, deciding to work from ho today.
Ronnie still stared blankly at him, not moving.
Her little mind was actually exploding with tension, what should she do, when daddy sees mummy ca over, he’ll definitely be furious!
And at that mont, Ivy ca downstairs, hearing the noise. Sebastian looked up just in ti to see her...
