It was actually Sebastian Blackwood calling.

"Co out for a drink."

The call connected, and only the man’s gloomy voice could be heard.

Julian Hawthorne felt sullen too; now the two of them truly were comrades in distress.

Gilded Splendor.

Sebastian rarely smoked, and he didn’t drink much either, but today was an exception.

The mature man leaned against the leather sofa, his long legs naturally crossed, the suit pants hugging his strong muscles. A couple of buttons on his black shirt were undone, revealing a tantalizing hint of his collarbone.

Sebastian’s sharp jaw was slightly lowered, and white smoke dispersed around his distinct features, both dangerous and alluring.

Many won’s gazes were fixed on him the mont he walked in, watching him smoking alone, they swayed their hips and walked over to him.

"Sir, would you like a drink?"

A young woman with wavy hair sat beside Sebastian, her slender fingers climbing up his chest.

Sebastian remained unmoved, not even glancing her way.

"Sir."

Seeing he wasn’t speaking, the laughter in the woman’s eyes beca more alluring, "You look like Master Blackwood."

The woman didn’t dare to imagine he was the real Sebastian Blackwood and spoke tentatively.

"Tch."

Sebastian chuckled lowly, finally turning, his bony fingers touching her chin.

His electric gaze t hers, and she felt her entire body go numb. Instantly, she laughed coquettishly and leaned in closer.

However—

"Scram."

With an icy word, Sebastian pushed her away without a trace of pity.

"Ah."

She fell to the ground on her butt, her mind buzzing; only then did she realize, from the front, that this... this was Master Blackwood!

Oh my god, she had actually dared to recklessly attempt to seduce Master Blackwood...

"Brother Blackwood."

At this mont, Julian Hawthorne walked over.

With just a glance, he understood what was happening and imdiately had the staff drag her out.

Afterward, he sat on the booth and started drinking heavily.

He was extrely irritated. Clearly, he was the one from the Hawthorne family, but because of Winnie Winslow, everyone in the Hawthorne family disliked him. It was utterly ridiculous!

After finishing a can, he glanced at Sebastian. It was the first ti he saw Sebastian so drunk, and out of curiosity, he asked, "Brother Blackwood, are you upset too?"

Thinking about it, organizing such a grand wedding only for it to beco a joke, anyone would feel bad.

But Sebastian wasn’t upset about that; his dark eyes were fixated on his phone screen. Until now, Ivy Kensington hadn’t sent him a single ssage.

Damn it.

Did this woman not care about him at all?

In that mont, Sebastian felt both aggrieved and angry.

"Tell , if a woman doesn’t co to you on her own, does that an she doesn’t care at all?"

Huh?

This ti Julian was surprised; since when could he hear questions about love from Sebastian’s mouth?

Thinking it over, he said, "If she doesn’t co to you, why don’t you go find her? Brother Blackwood, have you heard the saying, ’A persistent lover always wins’?"

No matter how indifferent a woman is, this thod always works.

Upon hearing this, Sebastian’s brooding eyes instantly lit up.

True, if Ivy didn’t co to find him, why shouldn’t he go find her and get a clear answer?

The tall figure imdiately stood up, and Sebastian walked out without looking back.

"I’m off."

What the heck.

He called him out, and it hadn’t even been half an hour before he left on his own.

Julian felt even more frustrated.

anwhile.

Ivy Kensington, after showering and putting Ginny and Cody to bed, was about to lie down when the doorbell rang crazily.
