After what happened at the golf course last ti, the Taylors were severely dealt with by Sebastian Blackwood, and now they’re a shadow of their forr selves.
Keith Taylor gritted his teeth and spat, "You two are both bastards!"
He cursed but didn’t dare stay any longer; if Ivy Kensington and Sebastian Blackwood reported him, the Taylor family would be dood!
Soon enough, Keith Taylor had no choice but to slink away.
Ivy Kensington shut the door imdiately, to keep out any more unnecessary troublemakers.
"Ivy, I want to sleep. Go handle your other matters."
Sharon Langley lay weakly on the hospital bed, her gaze empty.
Ivy heard this and dared not disturb her further, instructing, "Alright, if you need anything, just press the call button by the bed. Both the nurse and I will co right away."
Sharon didn’t nod or shake her head, leaving Ivy unsure if she even heard.
By evening.
Ivy thought Sharon had probably rested enough and brought a al box to go inside when she ran into Isaac Eastwood.
Isaac looked disheveled, with ssy hair and clothes, clearly not having had a good few days.
"How’s Sharon?"
Isaac eagerly asked about Sharon’s condition as soon as he saw Ivy.
The Eastwood family didn’t allow him to see Sharon, so he used every ans to escape and co here.
Ivy replied, "She’s sleeping."
After speaking, they both pushed open the door and went inside, only to find the room empty!
Sharon Langley was nowhere to be found!
At this mont.
Nina Shaw was packing at the Shaw family’s house. Now that she was a young lady of the Ford Family, the Shaws couldn’t keep her even if they wanted to.
After all, the Ford Family was much more powerful than the Shaw family.
"Miss Shaw, are you really moving to the Ford Family?"
The maid beside Nina asked.
Nina shot her a glance, knowing Harrison Shaw had deliberately sent the maid to ask. Rembering the slap he gave her at the apprenticeship banquet, Nina said, "Now that I’ve found my biological father, of course, I’m going back to the Ford Family."
As for the Shaw family, hmph, they were nothing more than a stepping stone for her.
With that, Nina got into the car.
The car drove leisurely on the road. Suddenly, the driver slamd on the brakes, nearly causing Nina to hit her forehead. She cursed, "Can you even drive? If you crash into , how will you pay for it?!"
The driver, sweating profusely from being berated, stamred, "Miss... Miss Shaw, there’s soone in front..."
Only then did Nina look up, realizing it was Sharon Langley!
Sharon was still in a hospital gown, with wounds on her face yet to heal, looking extrely weak.
Nina’s conscience pricked for a second, but seeing Sharon’s state, she suddenly felt emboldened.
With her in this condition, what could she possibly do?
"Just drive over her. If she doesn’t move, let her die!"
Nina said viciously. Whatever happened to Sharon was her own doing, nothing to do with her.
The driver didn’t dare; running soone over could land him in jail, "Miss Shaw, I’m not driving anymore. You’d better find another driver."
With that, he quickly fled. Sharon’s gaze was terrifying, and she was holding a knife. He was scared!
Seeing the driver run off, Nina was livid, "Useless idiot."
"Bang, bang, bang—"
The car window was being forcefully banged on. Nina turned her head to see Sharon’s bloodless face, and she scread in fright.
"Sharon Langley, if you’re going crazy, don’t co to . Get lost!"
Nina shouted from inside the car, now genuinely frightened, fumbling to call Sebastian Blackwood.
At this point, only Brother Sebastian could save her!
"Crash—"
Another loud noise, as the heavy car window was smashed open by Sharon Langley!
Nina was scared out of her wits, and the next second, Sharon lunged at her with the knife, "Nina Shaw, you can go to hell!"
