Sebastian Blackwood was silent for a mont.

Finally, he said, "Sothing happened at the company unexpectedly."

There’s no need to ntion Nina Shaw’s issue; it will be settled eventually.

Ivy Kensington chose to trust him and nodded, "Okay, but if anything really happens in the future, you have to answer the phone."

Otherwise, like today, being unable to reach you for a long ti would make people uneasy.

Sebastian uttered a soft "mm."

Late at night.

Ivy was lying on the bed, trying to sleep, when her phone buzzed with a new ssage that she opened—

[Believe it or not, I can make Brother Sebastian co over with just one call?]

It was from Nina Shaw again.

Ivy was really annoyed and decisively blocked her number.

"Asleep?"

A man’s deep voice rang out, accompanied by a warm hand placed around Ivy’s waist.

Sebastian pulled her into his embrace.

Since they reconciled, they would sleep cuddled together at night, and Ivy had gotten used to it, instinctively nestling into his arms.

"No."

As soon as she spoke, Sebastian’s ardent kiss descended upon her.

Ivy grasped his arm and quietly closed her eyes.

However, the next second, a call ca through—

Ivy suddenly beca alert.

She saw the clearly labeled na: Nina.

In an instant, a chill swept through her body.

Ivy’s jaw trembled slightly.

"Don’t answer."

She said, wanting to hang up the call.

Sebastian pushed her hand away, rose up, and draped the blanket over her, "Just a call, it won’t take long."

Then, his tall figure moved out towards the balcony.

"Brother Sebastian, my stomach hurts a lot... Can you co and see ? After all, the baby inside is yours too..."

Nina Shaw spoke weakly over the phone.

Vaguely, the voice of Old Madam Blackwood could be heard, "Nina is asking you to co over, don’t delay."

The endless night lay before him, and Sebastian’s handso brows showed traces of impatience.

The voice continued, "Brother Sebastian, I promise this will be the last ti, I won’t bother you again after this..."

Nina Shaw weakly promised.

His thin lips exhaled a turbid breath, and Sebastian replied coldly, "Alright."

The last ti—he wouldn’t indulge her anymore.

Upon hearing this, Nina Shaw smirked triumphantly on the other end of the phone, but said, "Brother Sebastian, I’ll be waiting for you."

The call ended.

Sebastian returned to the bedroom, put on his coat, and prepared to go out.

From the mont he answered the call, Ivy was trembling with cold all over, and seeing him ready to leave made her shake uncontrollably.

"You’re really going?"

Sebastian stepped beside her, gently touching her forehead to soothe her.

"Mm, just taking care of sothing, won’t be long."

"Bang—"

The door closed with a sound.

Ivy stared blankly at the ceiling and let out a self-mocking laugh.

So all along, he never confided in her!

Blackwood Estate.

No sooner had Sebastian entered than Nina Shaw rushed over and hugged him, "Brother Sebastian, you’re here."

Sebastian coldly pushed her away, "I’ve checked, I’m leaving."

Nina Shaw couldn’t believe it, biting her lip in anger.

Is it really so unbearable to be with her?

"Brother Sebastian, touch my stomach, this is your baby inside..."

Nina Shaw forced a smile, grabbing his hand and placing it on her belly.

Sebastian frowned, but quickly relaxed.

"That’s enough."

He said, ready to turn and leave.

Nina Shaw hugged him again, "Brother Sebastian, have you really forgotten your promise to my brother to take good care of ? Why are you so cold to now, am I really that unbearable to you?"

As she spoke, Nina Shaw couldn’t help but cry.

"Boo hoo hoo, I miss my brother. If my brother were here, he would definitely not want to see so miserable... Brother Sebastian, if I’ve made any mistake, it’s loving you!"
