"Mommy, Mommy!"
Ronnie lay on the edge of her bed, his little chubby hand rubbing her face.
Ivy Kensington woke up with a start, "What’s wrong, Ronnie?"
"Humph."
Ronnie crossed his arms, fuming, "You and Daddy don’t care about !"
They had clearly talked about the parent-child sports day last ti, but Mommy and Daddy both forgot.
He was angry.
Ivy glanced at the date and imdiately rembered the matter, quickly getting out of bed, "Ronnie, don’t be mad, it’s Mommy’s fault. Mommy will get ready right away."
In less than half an hour, Ivy was ready.
She went downstairs but didn’t see Sebastian Blackwood.
Ronnie huffed angrily, "Daddy had an urgent early eting and went ahead. He said for us to go to kindergarten first."
Bad Daddy, he doesn’t care about her, how awful!
Ivy picked Ronnie up in one swoop, "Ronnie, be good, Mommy will go with you."

After finishing the morning eting, Sebastian Blackwood prepared to set off for Starlight Kindergarten.
However, Owen Rhodes ca running over with a serious face.
"Master Blackwood, Miss Nina Shaw is pregnant, with your child! Old Madam Blackwood wants you to go to the hospital imdiately."
Sebastian’s handso face imdiately darkened, "What do you an?"
How could Nina be pregnant with his child?
Owen smiled wryly, "I don’t know the details either, but Old Madam Blackwood insists you go over."
Frustrated, Sebastian pinched the bridge of his nose and said after getting in the car, "Go to the old house."
He needed to figure out what’s going on with Nina’s pregnancy!
Starlight Kindergarten.
The parent-child sports day was scheduled to start at nine in the morning.
But it was already eight fifty, and Sebastian hadn’t shown up.
Ronnie dejectedly lay on Ivy’s lap, sadly saying, "Mommy, I hate Daddy now, he doesn’t keep his promises..."
He had clearly promised to co over after the morning eting, yet he still hadn’t arrived.
Ever since Sebastian ca to pick up Ronnie from kindergarten last ti, everyone had been looking forward to seeing him again. One kid after another ca to ask Ronnie, "Ronnie, why hasn’t your Daddy co yet?"
Especially Star, seeing that only Ivy was with Ronnie, humd happily.
Perhaps Ronnie’s daddy and mommy have divorced!
"Ronnie, don’t be sad. You can still join the sports day even if you’re from a single-parent family."
Star cheerfully said.
Ronnie gritted his baby teeth, glaring at her, "Daddy and Mommy have a great relationship, you don’t need to worry about that."
After saying this, Ronnie clung tightly to Ivy’s arm, saying with grievance, "Mommy, call Daddy again, please."
If he doesn’t co soon, the parent-child sports day will really start without him.
Seeing Ronnie’s earnest expression, Ivy felt upset herself and imdiately called Sebastian.
But just like before, there was no answer.
Could sothing have happened?
Just as she was thinking, a text ssage suddenly popped up on Ivy’s phone —
[Ivy, just give up. Brother Sebastian isn’t going to any parent-child sports day, he’s with at the hospital for a check-up.]
It was a ssage from Nina Shaw!
Nina even sent a photo right after.
The picture showed only a back view, but Ivy imdiately recognized it as Sebastian Blackwood!
And the place was clearly the obstetrics and gynecology departnt...
In an instant, Ivy’s heart felt like it was hit by a hamr, making it hard for her to breathe.
Nina was pregnant?
How could this happen...
"Mommy, what’s wrong?"
Seeing Ivy’s unusual expression, Ronnie asked nervously.
Ivy forced a smile, her eyes stinging. Just as she was about to tell Ronnie that it would just be the two of them at the sports day today, a child exclaid, "Look, isn’t that Ronnie’s daddy?"
