Sebastian Blackwood’s handso face remained indifferent. He knew, Ivy Kensington couldn’t bear to part with Ronnie. If she wanted Ronnie, she could only stay.
However, Ivy was determined to leave this ti.
"Who Ronnie goes with is not up to you. I’ll see you in court."
She didn’t believe that the law would side with him. She had raised Ronnie alone, it only made sense that Ronnie would be better off with her!
Sebastian’s dark eyes deepened slightly, and he sneered coldly, "Ivy, you have no chance of winning a lawsuit against ."
The best lawyers in all of Celestia were with the Blackwood Group. What did Ivy have to fight him for custody?
Overestimating herself.
Ivy bit her lip, her chest aching from anger. Why on earth did she ever have feelings for such an arrogant, conceited man? To the point of getting herself into such a miserable situation...
"You little brat, you dare to say such things, do you believe I’ll skin you alive!"
At this mont, June Keane’s cursing voice ca over.
On her way back, June had already figured out the ins and outs of the situation.
For the sake of that outsider, Nina Shaw, he nearly let his own wife die. This was the kind of thing where you’d make soone drown in a pig cage, and only her clueless son could pull this off!
He obviously wanted soone to stay, yet insisted on going to court head-on. Would it kill him to say sothing nice?
June was so angry she wanted to pinch his nose, she took off her slipper and threw it at Sebastian’s head.
At the sa ti, she said, "Ivy, I support you. Take Ronnie and leave. Let’s see who dares to sue you!"
Sebastian frowned, his tall body slightly tilted, dodging the incoming slipper.
"Mom."
He spoke, slightly exasperated.
Ivy was being unreasonable, but why was she joining in?
June glared at him, "Don’t call Mom. I don’t have a son with zero emotional intelligence like you. You’re just like your father in every rotten way."
For the sake of a woman outside, making the whole family go into chaos.
The more June thought about it, the more frustrated she beca, feeling bad for Ivy, she took her hand and started to walk out.
"Co on, Mom’s running away from ho with you guys."
Looking at this troubleso son just made her angry.
For a mont, Sebastian beca the universally hated person.
He pinched his brow, very troubled.
"Mom."
At this mont, Ivy spoke up: "I’ll take Ronnie and leave. You stay ho."
Ivy understood, June was specifically helping her vent, hoping she’d stay because of this.
She was very grateful to June, but this was between her and Sebastian. She truly felt she couldn’t stay with him anymore, and there was no point in staying.
June choked up, tenderly touching Ivy’s little face.
"My dear daughter-in-law, you’ve suffered."
When June was young, she too didn’t have her husband’s affection, so she could fully understand Ivy’s feelings at the ti.
Ivy’s eyes suddenly felt a bit sore, she lowered her head, sniffed, squeezed out a smile, and replied, "I’m okay, Mom. Ronnie and I will leave first."
Ronnie was actually reluctant to leave June too, but now she and Ivy stood on the sa front line, so she obediently said goodbye, "Goodbye, Grandma."
June kissed Ronnie several tis, "Grandma will co to see you in a couple of days."
Then, June personally called a car to take Ivy and Ronnie away.
With her presence, no one dared to stop Ivy and Ronnie from leaving.
Sebastian’s cold eyes remained fixed on the departing car, only drawing back his gaze when it was out of sight, with a mocking smile on his lips.
He didn’t believe Ivy could leave. As long as he didn’t want it, no one could leave his side...
"You still have the nerve to watch," June couldn’t stand the sight of him, and scolded, "I’m telling you, if you don’t coax your wife and daughter back in two days, you’ll be in trouble!"
"You, a second-married man, still dare to ntion divorce, it’s really making your mother proud."
June carried on, going further and further off track with her words.
Sebastian’s handso face instantly turned black, and he said helplessly, "Mom, please say a little less."
