“Dad, Mom! What’s going on here?”
Jiang Hao’s eyes brimd with confusion.
His voice caught the two elders off guard, startling them.
“Hao? You’re awake?”
Jiang’s mother, snapping back to reality, was overco with excitent and quickly rushed to Jiang Hao’s side.
Jiang Hao, hearing her, was montarily baffled.
I just took a nap! What in the world happened?
He then learned the whole story from his mother.
Realizing the truth, Jiang Hao looked remorseful and hastened to reassure his very anxious family.
Once they were certain Jiang Hao was fine, they breathed a sigh of relief.
After sending them off, Jiang Hao went to confront the cause of the commotion.
“System, what did you promise yesterday?”
Jiang Hao, seething with frustration, demanded an explanation.
The System countered imdiately after Jiang Hao’s outburst.
“Host, the system made no such guarantees!”
“The System simply assured you of the dication’s effectiveness!”
“Are you saying you’re not satisfied with the Super Calming Pill’s results?”
Caught off guard by the System’s retort, Jiang Hao was left without a coback.
Indeed, that’s what the system had indicated the night before.

Jiang Hao was at a loss for words, unsure of what to say next.
Just then, Jiang’s mother called out.
“Hao, co have breakfast. Once you’re done, head to school!”
Seizing the opportunity to exit the conversation, Jiang Hao left with a hint of defiance, muttering under his breath as he went.
“Hmph, I’ll spare you this ti!”

The Super Calming Pill had seemingly unlocked a floodgate of ideas in Jiang Hao’s mind.

These thoughts sent Jiang Hao’s excitent soaring.
Yet, the reality was not as straightforward as Jiang Hao imagined.
So dications require a prescription!
On his way to school, Jiang Hao walked past a pharmacy.
Curiosity got the better of him, and he stepped inside.
Feigning a cold and headache, Jiang Hao purchased several boxes of cold dicine, which included a handful of painkillers.
Once at school, he couldn’t wait to prepare the cold dicine according to the recomnded dosage.
Clutching the dicine, he was brimming with excitent.
“Ding! Five cold dicine tablets detected. Would you like to synthesize?”
“Synthesize!”
“Ding… Congratulations, host, on the successful creation of one super cold dicine. Skill point 0.7, Experience Point 0.7!”
Super cold dicine: The bane of all cold viruses. Possess it, and you can party without worry!
“Synthesis complete. Would you like to extract?”
Just as he anticipated, Jiang Hao was thrilled by the system’s notification.
“Extract!”
No sooner had Jiang Chen spoken than a white pill, the size of a fingernail, materialized in his hand, emblazoned with the words ‘Super Cold dicine.’
Jiang Hao then thodically prepared and synthesized the remaining nine doses of cold dicine.
Despite three setbacks, he ended up with six Super Cold dicine pills.
He treasured these seven pills, stowing them away in the System Space.
Next, he took out the ten painkillers and paired them up.
As he held two pills, the familiar system prompt echoed in his mind.
“Ding… Two painkillers detected. Would you like to synthesize?”
