C522 – Return an Accident
“Where on earth did that rciless man co from?”
“Why haven’t I ever heard of him before?”
In the midst of fleeing for her life, Feng Ruohua was still desperately trying to recall any mories that could help.
But just then, an icy voice cut through the air from beside her.
“Where do you think you’re running to?”
The mont she heard those words, Feng Ruohua froze in her tracks. Her face went pale as she saw Jiang Hao standing not too far from her.
The last thing she expected was for Jiang Hao to be blocking her path!
Jiang Hao observed the panicked Feng Ruohua and steadily advanced towards her.
As Jiang Hao drew closer, Feng Ruohua recoiled as if she were facing a primordial beast, instinctively stepping back.
Feng Ruohua was genuinely terrified, her expression shifting rapidly until it settled into a forced, rigid smile.
She quickly tried to defuse the situation.
“Senior, hold on a mont!”
“I was impertinent earlier. I am ready to offer a sincere apology!”
But Jiang Hao was in no mood to entertain her excuses or delay any further.
He lunged at her with a punch that broke several of Feng Ruohua’s ribs, showing no rcy or tenderness.
And then, just as quickly as he had appeared, he vanished from the scene.
As for the four n, Jiang Hao left them alive but gravely wounded. Their fate was now in the hands of destiny.
At that mont, Jiang Hao’s mind was elsewhere. He wondered if his abrupt departure had caused any issues in the Underworld.
Moreover, the system had finished upgrading, and he had yet to explore its new features.
……
Eventually, Jiang Hao made his way back ho.
Once he had settled down, he was struck by a sudden intuition that sothing new had manifested within him.
Jiang Hao held his breath and concentrated, beginning to thoroughly examine himself.
Soon, with his focus sharpened, he discovered sothing astonishing within his mind—a vastly miniaturized, ethereal Reincarnation Disk of Six Tao.
Jiang Hao was astounded by the revelation.
“Holy… Did I actually manage to swipe the Reincarnation Disk of Six Tao?”
But as he directed his Spiritual Force towards the disk in his mind, unexpected turmoil ensued.
A powerful suction force erupted from the greatly diminished illusory Reincarnation Disk of Six Tao.
Jiang Hao’s face paled as he felt the pull.
“What in the world is happening?”
Yet, there was no one around to offer him an answer.
“Boom!”
In a flash, darkness enveloped Jiang Hao’s vision, and the surroundings shifted swiftly.
When Jiang Hao’s eyes fluttered open once more, he recognized the scenes that unfolded around him.
With a gasp of astonishnt, he exclaid,
“Is this… the Underworld?”
Indeed, he had found himself back in the Underworld.
He was now seated in a ditative pose on the sowhat ethereal Reincarnation Disk of Six Tao.
Confusion swirled in Jiang Hao’s mind.
“What exactly is happening here?”
The illusory Underworld continued to inhale and exhale streams of Yin Qi, striving to take on a solid form.
But the surrounding Yin Qi had thinned considerably, slowing their transformation significantly.
At this snail’s pace, it was anyone’s guess when the Underworld would fully materialize.
Just then, a surge of information flooded Jiang Hao’s consciousness.
He quickly assimilated all of it.
As it turned out, the chaos he had caused earlier seed to have sparked a faint semblance of awareness within the Underworld.
Or rather, it was more precise to say that this nascent consciousness had erged from the illusory Reincarnation Disk of Six Tao, which was coalesced from Pure Yin Qi.
It had begun to develop a sliver of intelligence.
As had been ntioned, with the substantial depletion of Yin Qi, the tiline for the Underworld’s complete solidification remained a mystery.
