Chapter 360 - You Can Play the Zither I'll Try
Despite the skepticism surrounding Jiang Hao's ability to devise a solution, very few held any belief that he could.
In that mont, Jiang Hao turned his gaze to Feng Nichang, causing a ripple of tension to pass through her.
”May I be so fortunate as to view the musical score?” Jiang Hao inquired.
Feng Nichang was taken aback by the request, puzzled by Jiang Hao's intentions. Yet, as Soong Wan's boyfriend, she couldn't deny him such a simple favor. Moreover, given the astonishing spiritual force she had just sensed from him, she had no reason to refuse. After all, a musical score was hardly a treasure.
Turning to two staff mbers engrossed in their work, Feng Nichang instructed, “Little Tian, please provide Mr. Jiang with a copy of the score.”
One of the staff mbers rose to his feet, pulling a score from the pile before him and casting a glance at Jiang Hao laced with a hint of scorn. Jiang Hao, recognizing the man, surmised his identity: “Is this the diocre musician Feng Nichang spoke of?”
Jiang Hao noticed the man's derisive look but remained unfazed. An elephant does not concern itself with the gaze of an ant.
Taking the score, Jiang Hao briefly examined it before folding it neatly and slipping it into his pocket under the curious stares of those around him. Truth be told, he was unfamiliar with musical notation—it would be futile to study it. But his request for the score was driven by a different purpose.
Jiang Hao's hand, clutching the score, disappeared into his pocket as he ntally summoned the system. “System, deconstruct!”
”Affirmative!”
“Ding… Congratulations to the host for deconstructing the ‘Rainbow Skirt Feathery Tune.' You have gained the Zither Skill, 1.2 skill points, and 0.9 experience points!”

“Host has successfully decomposed the item. Would you like to proceed with extraction and integration?” the system inquired.
Without a mont's delay, Jiang Hao commanded, “Extract and integrate!”
At his behest, the system obliged, and a surge of information stread into Jiang Hao's consciousness. In the blink of an eye, Jiang Hao went from a man who couldn't distinguish a single note to a novice in the art of the zither.
”System, upgrade my zither skills to level three!”
“Affirmative, host!”
“Ding… 11 skill points deducted, zither skill upgrade successful!”

All of this happened in the blink of an eye!
Under the watchful eyes of the confused crowd, Jiang Hao turned to Feng Nichang and inquired,
“May I give it a try?”
The request took everyone by surprise.
Soong Wan was the first to recover, asking incredulously,
“Brother Hao, you can play the ancient zither?”
Jiang Hao responded with a smile,
“I'm not sure myself, I just want to give it a shot!”
Hearing this, the others frowned, their opinion of Jiang Hao souring instantly.
At such a critical ti, while everyone else was seeking solutions, not only was he not contributing, but he was also causing a disturbance. It seed quite inconsiderate!
Even Soong Wan discreetly nudged Jiang Hao, hinting at him to reconsider.
Yet, for reasons unknown, Feng Nichang surprisingly consented,
“No problem at all, Mr. Jiang, feel free to proceed!”
With Feng Nichang's permission, a staff mber stepped aside, revealing an ancient zither.
Jiang Hao, however, rely swept a glance at the instrunt. Without further ado, he headed straight for another, a deep crimson zither resting on a nearby table.
As Jiang Hao approached the zither, Soong Wan, Aunt Hong, and the two staff mbers were about to intervene.
But at that mont, Feng Nichang raised her hand, signaling them to hold back.
