C122 – Very Difficult!
Jiang Hao was incredibly fast. By the ti he reached the school gate, the other students were just beginning to trickle out of the exam hall one by one.
As Jiang Hao erged first from the school, a swarm of reporters with microphones descended upon him, encircling him in an instant.
“Are you a student who just took the college entrance exam?”
“How difficult was the language section of the exam?”
“What score do you anticipate receiving?”
……
Jiang Hao nodded, responding with a cool deanor.
“The language exam was quite easy; I finished in 30 minutes. As for my score, I expect it to be over 145, possibly even perfect.”
The mont Jiang Hao’s words fell, the crowd around him was stunned into silence.
“Are the questions really that simple this year?”
Quickly regaining their composure, the crowd eyed Jiang Hao with skepticism.
“Have we just t a scholar-lord?”
The thought electrified the reporters, their eyes gleaming with excitent. Amidst the jostling, they eagerly thrust their microphones towards Jiang Hao.
“Which high school do you attend?”
“How are your grades typically?”
……
Eventually, Jiang Hao managed to extricate himself from the throng of frenzied reporters.
With a look of relief and without turning back, he dashed ho, leaving behind a group of reporters filled with disappointnt.
These reporters were just too intense!
Yet, unbeknownst to him, Jiang’s mother watched from the shadows under a tree, her face beaming with pride.
……
Before long, the majority of students poured out of the school gate.
But unlike Jiang Hao, their faces were etched with regret, remorse, and frustration.
Noticing this, the reporters, sharp as ever, pounced on the opportunity like they’d struck gold.
“How difficult were the language questions on the exam this year?”
“Difficult? Of course, they were difficult. I didn’t even finish my essay!”
“Shoot, sa here! I’m afraid this year’s exam might be the toughest in the past decade!”
“Oh my God! It seems I’m completely out of luck with getting into Jiaotong University this year!”
Amidst the wails of the other examinees, the reporters were completely baffled!
Hadn’t the first student who erged claid the questions were a breeze?
He even boldly declared that his score in language wouldn’t dip below 145!
Sothing seed off, as if the narrative had taken an unexpected turn.
Doubting they might have encountered a bottom-tier student, they dispersed and randomly approached several examinees who had just left the school gates to ask questions!
They compiled the responses from the next few examinees into a succinct summary.
In a word—Difficult!
In two words—Quite hard!
And in three—Extrely tough!
At this point, recalling Jiang Hao’s composed answer, they ca up with two theories.
First, Jiang Hao was a scholar-lord!
Second, Jiang Hao was either a lunatic or a complete wild card!
……
In the afternoon, it was ti for Mathematics!
Jiang Hao was again the first to exit the school, leaving the reporters montarily speechless.
Their mory of Jiang Hao was indelibly etched in their minds!
Snapping out of their brief stupor, they hurriedly sward him.
“How did you find this year’s college entrance math exam?”
“Was it difficult? How many points do you think you’ll score?”
……
Jiang Hao hadn’t anticipated being cornered by this crowd once more!
The sight of their eager, almost ravenous gazes instantly brought back the morning’s overwhelming dread!
And just as he was plotting his getaway, he realized he was hemd in on all sides, with no avenue of escape!
