C108 – Agreed to Save the Scene
Jiang Hao was at a loss for words!
Just then, a jeering voice full of arrogance ca from Liu Biao’s direction.
“Liu Biao, are you up to the challenge or not? You’ve had plenty of rest, haven’t you?
Or are you scared? Ready to tuck your tail and hide?”
Liu Biao, hearing this, roared back in a voice tinged with fury.
“Scared? Yang Chuanwei, what’s the damn rush? The ti isn’t even up yet!”
“Haha, alright then. I’ll give you two more minutes!”
At that mont, Liu Biao glared at Yang Chuanwei, who was grinning like a Cheshire cat, itching to slap the smug look off the sly trickster’s face.
Then, his thoughts turned to Jiang Hao on the other end of the line, his voice suddenly feeble, laced with a plea for help.
“Master…”
Jiang Hao understood Liu Biao’s predicant perfectly well; he was just frustrated by his lack of initiative.
“Enough with the yelling. Where are you guys?”
Liu Biao, sensing an opportunity, perked up with excitent and quickly responded.
“Master, we’re at the second field in the back lot!”
Jiang Hao, already on his way, replied as he strode towards the back field.
“Got it. Hang tight, I’m on my way!”
With that, he ended the call and made a beeline for the back field.
anwhile, Liu Biao, ecstatic to hear Jiang Hao was en route, eagerly shoved his way through the crowd, craning his neck for a glimpse of his arrival.
Close behind him, Number Three, donned in a yellow jersey emblazoned with the emblem of No.1 Middle School, caught on and called out.
“Liu Biao, you’re not planning to bolt, are you?”
With the knowledge of Jiang Hao’s imminent arrival, Liu Biao was brimming with confidence, Yang Chuanwei’s taunts falling on deaf ears.
He turned to Yang Chuanwei with a grin that promised trouble.
“Run away? Not a chance, Yang Chuanwei. But I have a feeling you’ll be the one desperate to flee soon enough!”
With that, he spun around to face the distance, where Jiang Hao, clad in a white tee, was sprinting towards them, a broad smile spreading across Liu Biao’s face.
Liu Biao’s odd behavior instantly made Yang Chuanwei’s heart skip a beat, stirring a sense of unease within him.
However, upon noticing the composed number eight athlete resting beside him and recalling his identity, Yang couldn’t help but chuckle at himself.
He silently chided himself for overthinking.
Before long, Jiang Hao made his appearance, and Liu Biao along with his entourage hurried to welco him, drawing the attention of many onlookers.
“Wow, that’s Jiang Hao!”
“Whoa! No way, it’s actually Jiang Hao! Now we’ve got a real shot!”
“Who’s Jiang Hao? Is he famous or sothing?”
“Dude, you don’t know Jiang Hao? Are you even from Second Senior High?”

Jiang Hao himself was taken aback by his own fa, realizing it had reached the point of being universally recognized!
anwhile, not too far off, Yang Chuanwei and his group watched Jiang Hao being escorted by Liu Biao and his crew, puzzled by the reactions of the surrounding Second Senior High students.
He turned to his classmates and inquired,
“Does anyone here know that guy? Who is he?”
The students next to him glanced at Jiang Hao and then shook their heads in unison.
“No clue, we don’t know him!”
But one of them, after a mont’s hesitation, piped up,
“From what I’ve overheard, his na might be Jiang Hao. He topped the senior year joint exams in Tianhee City recently. He’s a real scholar-lord!
I think I’ve heard about him… didn’t he score 747 points?”
Upon hearing this, Yang Chuanwei’s confusion cleared, and he looked at Jiang Hao with a touch of envy.
But seeing Liu Biao treating Jiang Hao with such reverence, he couldn’t suppress a laugh.
“Seriously, has Liu Biao gone crazy? They’re clearly beaten, so what’s he doing bringing in a scholar-lord? Does he think a top student can turn the tide for them?”
The crowd couldn’t help but join Yang Chuanwei in laughter at the absurdity of the situation.
