As Xiao Xue smiled back at the assistant, she suddenly recalled sothing and looked at her surroundings before dropping her voice to a soft whisper. “Is Shishi in a foul mood today?”
Her heart had been pounding hard as she made her way to the production set earlier, for she was sowhat worried that her bestie might be angry with her.
After being classmates and best friends for so many years, she knew that the actress was the sweetest and most considerate person ever. This was despite the latter not being good at expressing her emotions.

A conflicted and hesitant look crossed the assistant’s face, which got her saying imdiately, “You don’t have to tell anything if it’s not sothing you’re free to share. I’m more than willing to hear her tell her troubles; I just wanna find out what’s troubling her.”
