She could feel her face burning hot from his look. “I...” she started to say but failed to find the right words to continue.
Many clauses were indeed in the contract, which she knew she should have read. She subconsciously straightened her spine, so she would not lose to his presence.
He suddenly lifted his eyes, closed in on her face, and muttered in her ear, “What if you get banned from showbiz; what will happen, then?”
