Fang Ze carefully walked towards the side where the gate stood open, peering inside.
Behind the black gate, there was a pitch-dark corridor, without any lights, so nothing at all was clear.

Erging from Fang Ze's shadow, Jun perford a slight bow towards Fang Ze, then turned into a shadow and stealthily headed towards the black gate.
Thanks to their psychic link, even though the shadow blended into the surrounding environnt, Fang Ze's gaze could still follow him closely.
Soon, Jun arrived at the gate.
He lingered at the entrance for two seconds, then tried to slip inside.
But just as his shadow was about to touch the corridor, suddenly, the iron gate emitted a beam of white light that precisely hit Jun, then he saw Jun being ejected from the shadows and tumbling to the ground.
Fortunately, although the gate refused entry to Jun, it did not harm him.

That's when he was shocked to discover that this bronze gate was covered in a thin layer of faint white fluorescence, similar to when the iron door of the Late-Night Investigation Room had undergone changes.

With that in mind, he walked on towards the door at the end of the corridor.

The door was two ters high, pitch black, and hefty. It had strange patterns carved on it. The patterns, like a winding path, sprawled ssily over the whole gate, converging in the center to form the ancient character for "Two."
Thinking of this, Fang Ze could not help but turn his head to glance back at the door of the Late-Night Investigation Room.
Indeed, not to his surprise, the exterior of the Late-Night Investigation Room's door, like the interior, also had the character for "One."
"It seems that the Late-Night Investigation Room is the first room. And the room before is the second room?"
