Approaching the table, Fang Ze noticed an additional item had already been placed upon it.
It was a piece of paper.
"A piece of paper?"

To be honest, the mont he saw the piece of paper, Fang Ze felt a bit disappointed.
In his speculation, the most valuable things of the woman in the leather jacket could likely be one of two things: either the Bound Spirit or the dium for the Awakening.

Therefore, carrying that thought, Fang Ze sat down with disappointnt and picked up the piece of paper.
The paper was palm-sized, folded in half. Fang Ze opened it and took a look.
To his surprise, the content of the paper wasn't about a Special Awakening thod, but rather... a Nurturing Spirit Ritual.
"A Nurturing Spirit Ritual? What is that?" he muttered the na, his face full of confusion.
As he pondered, the information from the paper slowly entered his mind.
Reading the information in his mind, Fang Ze was first taken aback, then a little astonished, and finally, a mix of delight and hesitation appeared!
"Nurturing Spirit Ritual."
"A very evil thod to cultivate a Bound Spirit. First, use an Awakening Ritual to bind the Bound Spirit to a cauldron, and through a long period of harmonization, the spirit and the body beco increasingly in sync."
"Thereafter, by conducting a sacrifice ritual, offering the cauldron, letting the Bound Spirit devour the cauldron's spirit, to successfully grow, and to take control of the cauldron's body to obtain rebirth."
"The newly reborn Bound Spirit will gain the cauldron's body, will obtain more powerful amplifying abilities, higher growth potential, greater intelligence and will recognize the person who carried out the sacrifice ritual as its master."
Recalling the information in his mind, after the initial excitent, Fang Ze's face was filled with bewildernt.
His delight was because he hadn't expected that the Bound Spirit he had been pondering over for so long would be realized in such a manner.

So... since Fang Ze obtained the Nurturing Spirit Ritual, it surely had a connection to the woman in the leather jacket...
Fang Ze didn't think that this woman would be so ruthless as to prepare herself to be sacrificed five or six years in advance to favor the Bound Spirit!
That ant... soone had actually, since the ti she used the dium for Awakening, been prepared to sacrifice her to cultivate the Bound Spirit.
This woman had been from start to finish nothing but a pawn kept in the dark.

One Two Three was still diligently guarding the pit.
As Fang Ze leaped down from the tree, he called out, "Dig her up."
One Two Three lifted its fox-like head to glance at Fang Ze, then extended a dozen tendrils and began digging.
The hole Fang Ze had dug wasn't deep, and in a short while, One Two Three unearthed the leather jacket woman who was barely clinging to life.
Having the binding of a Bound Spirit, the woman possessed incredible vitality.
After she was dug out, she slowly ca around, and upon seeing Fang Ze, tears stread down as she incessantly pleaded for rcy.
Fang Ze looked at her, and while setting up the ritual, he said, "Stop begging for rcy, it's useless. Your fate was sealed from the very beginning."
"He who kills shall be killed in turn."
"Did you not consider the possibility of failing in your mission and being counter-killed by the mont you ca after my life?"
The woman was stunned.
Fang Ze shook his head, feeling this woman was sowhat clueless.
So he decided to enlighten her, making her understand even in death, saying, "You don't think that if I let you go, you'd be safe back with your superiors, do you?"
The woman froze for a mont, her eyes inadvertently darting towards Fang Ze, it was evident she really thought so.
Fang Ze smiled and shook his head again, then continued setting up the ritual as he asked, "Have you ever heard of the Nurturing Spirit Ritual?"
The woman shook her head.
Fang Ze explained, "Actually, there are many different thods to use a Bound Spirit as a dium."
"There are ordinary ones, where humans are primary and the Bound Spirit secondary, in the dium Awakening."
"And there are those where humans are the cauldrons, to give rise to advanced Bound Spirits through the Nurturing Spirit Ritual."
"The dium Awakening you used isn't truly a dium Awakening, but Nurturing."
"In other words, the one behind you had already designated you as a cauldron for nurturing Disaster Creatures at the ti of your Awakening, readying for the opportune mont to devour your spirit, and then giving birth to an even more powerful Disaster Creature."
