Upon hearing Old Mr. Bai’s inquiry, Fang Ze was montarily stunned.
In fact, he had co into contact with the Power of Faith very early. As early as when he was in Erald City, he knew about and had collected the Power of Faith.
After all, even the Late-Night Investigation Room required the Power of Faith to upgrade. This inherently indicated that the Power of Faith should be one of the most formidable forces in this world.
And when he reached the Outer Realm and learned more about Demigods, Fang Ze also discovered more information about the Power of Faith.
For instance, the Power of Faith is essentially the source of Demigod Divine Power.
The main component of Divine Power, in fact, is no different from the Power of Laws. Or rather, it’s a manifestation of the Power of Laws after a certain ascension. And this ascension thod requires the Power of Faith.
Removing so complex processes, Divine Power can entirely be said to be the Power of Faith mixed with the Power of Laws. This further exemplifies how vital and powerful the Power of Faith is.
Therefore, after hearing Old Mr. Bai’s question, Fang Ze couldn’t help but nod and say, "Yes. I know the purpose of the Power of Faith."
Old Mr. Bai, hearing this, slowly said,
"The Power of Faith is essentially an origin power produced after other creatures believe in and revere an Extraordinary Being."
"In other words, the Power of Faith is actually the influence an Extraordinary Being exerts on other creatures."
With his hands behind his back, he continued walking as he explained, "And what I ntioned earlier: ’The highest is to establish virtue, next is to establish rit, and next is to establish words, though long-lasting without decay, this is called immortality.’ This ancient text translates to: To achieve immortality, the best thod is to establish standards of ’virtue,’ next is to accomplish immortal feats, and next is to leave behind indelible words."
"Look at these three thods; they themselves are manifestations of long-term influence on creatures."
"So, I boldly speculate, becoming a True God, though difficult to achieve, is actually quite simple."
"That is...to let your influence in this world reach the peak. Let all creatures in the Real World wholeheartedly believe that you are the one to end reincarnation and lead the world into the future."
"As long as all the creatures in the world unite and concentrate all the Power of Faith onto one person, they can achieve immortality."
Hearing Old Mr. Bai’s words, Fang Ze’s eyes widened in shock.
This angle was indeed one he hadn’t considered before, even completely opposite to what he had previously speculated.
Previously, he always thought that a True God should ascend like Ascension and Absolute Pinnacle, relying on sheer strength. But now, according to Old Mr. Bai’s deduction, the ascension thod for a True God is actually more similar to that of a Demigod.
This novel perspective also led him to ponder this possibility.
After a mont, he lifted his head and curiously asked, "Though such conditions are indeed very difficult, has there never been a world in so many reincarnations where soone erged whom the entire world’s creatures all believed in?"
This ti, Old Mr. Bai clearly answered Fang Ze’s question. He stopped, looked at Fang Ze, and seriously said, "Yes. And there are quite a few. You’ve definitely seen or heard of them in the Outer Realm."
Hearing Old Mr. Bai’s words, Fang Ze was filled with questions: ??
He had definitely seen or heard of them? Quite a few in the Outer Realm?
His eyes widened, his mind racing.
A mont later, a sudden flash of insight crossed his mind, and he exclaid, "Venerable?!"
Old Mr. Bai nodded and then said solemnly, "Yes. It’s the Venerable."
He looked at Fang Ze, then with a bit of nostalgia in his eyes, he said, "Actually...not all Demigods in the Outer Realm are warmongers. From the first contact between humanity and the Outer Realm, there have been so Demigods who’ve privately maintained friendly relations with us."
"Their numbers are small, but their strength is formidable. Among them, there’s even three Venerables."
"They provided us with a wealth of information and intelligence on the Outer Realm and Demigods. This ensured we didn’t crumble imdiately facing attacks from the Outer Realm."
"And after stabilizing the situation, we learned many secrets from them, including information about Venerables."
Saying this, Old Mr. Bai paused and said, "Venerables are also Demigods, but very special ones."
"They usually only erge in large reincarnation worlds, those with a core race exceeding 3 billion and Awakener numbers over 10 million."
"And they are usually the most talented, powerful, and fortunate individuals in that world. This makes them stand out particularly brilliantly and prominently during Domain Wars, despite being Demigods at the Absolute Pinnacle."
"Gradually, the creatures of their world would gather their hopes upon them. Finally, after experiencing nurous wars and creating outstanding achievents, they naturally ascend to beco Venerables."
Hearing Old Mr. Bai’s words, Fang Ze couldn’t help but thoughtful say, "Establish rit among the Three Immortalities?"
Old Mr. Bai nodded, "You could say that."
He said, "It’s just...the amount of Faith these Venerables receive from creatures hasn’t reached the standard, and the rits they establish aren’t enough to ascend to True God. So, after their world was destroyed, they stopped at being Venerables."
Hearing this, Fang Ze couldn’t help but suddenly realize, "So that’s why in our previous conversation, you told that Demigods from the Outer Realm were dood to fail!"
