This series of changes made the venerables below unable to sit still any longer. Several venerables near the high platform exchanged glances, then plunged together into the dense smoke.
Entering the thick smoke, those few venerables looked around, only to discover that it was much like the outside, completely isolating divine thoughts and sight, making it impossible to see anything.

While their dominance often led to bold actions, they certainly weren’t brainless.
If they truly cared about that batch of Absolute Pinnacle Divine Fiends, they could have acted privately instead of risking it all when venerables gathered.
