The mont the room’s lights went out, my breath caught in my throat.

Perhaps because I couldn’t see, my senses of hearing and touch beca much sharper.

The man’s breathing was even and deep, sounding exceptionally clear in the quiet of the night, as if he were breathing right next to my ear.

Not to ntion, the air was filled with the scent of his body wash from his shower...

I couldn’t help but hold my breath. I quickly closed my eyes and started counting sheep.

But the drowsiness that had beco my constant companion since getting pregnant failed to kick in. In fact, the more I counted, the more awake I beca.

I turned over, a little frustrated.

"Can’t sleep?" Just then, Sebastian Forrest’s deep voice sounded in the darkness. "Is it the unfamiliar bed?"

The little bit of sleepiness I had managed to build up instantly vanished into thin air.

"Mmm..." I had no choice but to lie. "A little..."

"Then how about I tell you a bedti story?" There was a hint of laughter in Sebastian Forrest’s voice. I could even picture the lazy, casual smile that was surely on his face.

"No, thank you." I turned over again, my back now facing him directly. "I’m going to sleep."

Sebastian Forrest chuckled but didn’t say anything more.

Maybe it was because of Sebastian Forrest’s earlier banter, or maybe I was genuinely tired, but when I closed my eyes again, sleepiness finally washed over .

However, perhaps because my mind had been racing before bed, I drifted off and had a dream.

In the dream, I was back at the banquet from a month ago.

Back then, I was completely focused on trying to please Theodore Grant. I even went so far as to follow him to the banquet, just to give him a surprise.

But I searched everywhere and couldn’t find Theodore Grant. Instead, I ran into Vincent Lombard, who subjected to a barrage of taunts and sarcasm.

Feeling stifled and upset, I asked a waiter for a glass of wine. But as soon as I drank it, I realized sothing was wrong with it...

A wave of heat started surging up from my lower abdon, making my mouth dry and my throat parched.

At first, I thought I was just thirsty, but drinking several glasses of water did nothing to help. Only then did I realize the wine must have been spiked!

A wave of panic washed over . I quickly pulled out my phone to call Theodore Grant, but all I heard from the receiver was, "Sorry, the user you are dialing is currently on another call."

"Miss, is there anything I can help you with?"

At that mont, a waiter noticed sothing was off and hurried over to ask.

But at that point, I didn’t trust anyone except Theodore Grant.

"Can you help find Theodore Grant?"

"Of course. Let help you to the lounge first..."

"Thank you."

Everything in the dream felt so real, and it made feel vaguely repulsed. ’Why am I dreaming about Theodore Grant again?’

Just as my subconscious was struggling to wake up, soone approached through my drunken, blurry vision.

"Chelsea? Chelsea! Wake up..."

I groggily opened my eyes but couldn’t make out the face of the person in front of at all.

’But I knew it. The person in my dream was Theodore Grant.’

The drug taking effect made throw caution to the wind. I wrapped my arms around his neck and, following my instincts, pressed my lips to his.

In that instant, I could even feel the man’s body tense up.

But he pushed away almost imdiately.

"Chelsea Joyce, take a good look at who I am!"

But how could I see clearly then? All I could feel was one wave of heat after another crashing over , completely subrging .

"So hot... give ..." I clumsily kissed his lips again.

But just as I pulled back slightly, the man suddenly leaned in and pursued .

The mont our lips and tongues touched was like water hitting sizzling hot oil.

’I can’t believe I’m dreaming about that wild night with Theodore Grant again.’

Just as I was struggling to wake up from the dream, I suddenly saw the man’s face clearly. It was—

Sebastian Forrest?

And just as I was stunned into a daze, he suddenly lifted with one arm and had straddle his lap.

The man’s body was like a raging fire, almost hot enough to lt completely.

"Theo—ah..." My habitual cry was cut short by a sharp pain on my chest. The man lifted his head, a sharp glint flashing through his ink-black eyes.

The reflection in the floor-to-ceiling window showed the two of them locked in a deep kiss, necks entwined.

"Slow... slow down..."

"Don’t be afraid, I’ll be very gentle..."

"No!"

And just then, I jolted awake.

The first thing I saw was a lavish, exquisite crystal chandelier. The soft morning sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, creating a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere.

"What’s wrong? Have a dream?"

Just then, a magnetic voice sounded from above my head. I quickly sat up, clutching the blanket, only to see the very man who had been so passionately entangled with in my dream standing right in front of .

Sebastian Forrest must have just finished washing up. The bangs on his forehead were slightly damp, with a single drop of water poised to fall. He had casually left the top two buttons of his shirt undone, revealing a strong, solid chest...

My face flushed hot in an instant, my mind filled with the R-rated scenes from the dream.

"What’s wrong? Do you have a fever?" Sebastian Forrest frowned slightly and instinctively raised his hand to check my forehead.

But I recoiled as if I’d been electrocuted. "I-I’m fine..."

"I’m going to wash up!" With that, I threw off the covers, jumped out of bed, and ran to the bathroom in my slippers.

The first thing I did was lock the bathroom door. Then I braced my hands on the sink, staring at my reflection in the mirror, my cheeks already beet red.

I quickly scooped up a handful of cold water and splashed it on my face, trying to wake myself up.

’I actually had a wet dream?!’

’And the person in it was Sebastian Forrest?!’

’This is... too ridiculous!’

However, the things in the bathroom seed to trigger the images from my dream again, especially the part where Sebastian Forrest had pinned against this very sink...

SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!

I quickly patted my cheeks lightly. ’Am I going crazy?’

’Why am I still replaying scenes from last night’s dream?’

’It was all fake!’

’It was just a dream!’

I couldn’t help but take a deep breath. Seeing the sink was almost full of water, I held my breath and plunged my face into it.

But just as I was blowing bubbles, BLUB BLUB BLUB, there was a sudden knock on the door.

I quickly lifted my face from the cold water, wiped it with my hand, and called out, "What is it?"

"Are you done washing up? It’s ti to go down for breakfast."

"Okay, I know. I’ll be right there."

When I finished and opened the door, I saw Sebastian Forrest leaning against the window, his head turned to look outside.

"Let’s go down..."

But as we were walking downstairs side-by-side, Sebastian Forrest suddenly glanced at , the corners of his thin lips curling into a half-smile as he asked, "So, little schoolmate, did you sleep well last night?"

I would have been fine if he hadn’t brought it up. But the mont he said those two words, "last night," I felt my cheeks grow warm. As I was guiltily wondering how to answer, I heard his teasing laugh. "What’s wrong? You didn’t dream about , did you?"
