"I am losing money! Save from this torture, Equinox!" Piggy Bank stated as he was tossing a gold coin every five minutes.
"I have already told you that we will reimburse you with everything that you spent, Branch Leader Piggy Bank." The Vice Leader of the rchant Guild stated.
"Please minimize your crying or else I will not be able to hypnotize him." High Wizard Dore stated as he was using a wind elental spell called Beguiling Breeze to try and induce the barrier master to a hypnotic state.
"Let help you with that. Adrian stated as he surrounded the crying Piggy Bank in a soundproof bubble which left the latter in shock.
Adrian could see Piggy Bank trying to tell him sothing, but he could not hear him. He tried reading the mouth movent, but it was so fast that he cannot decipher it. In the end, Adrian could only give Piggy Bank a thumbs up with a smile.
"So, care to explain what happened?" Adrian asked the Vice Leader of the rchant Guild.
The Vice Leader of the rchant Guild imdiately started to recount what happened in an almost silent voice to make sure that the Barrier Master will be affected by the hypnotization. The Vice Leader of the rchant Guild told Adrian that they managed to stop the bleeding of the barrier master thanks to a potion. The barrier master was also not in an incredibly weakened state which is why they imdiately started to interrogate him.
At first, the barrier master refused to speak even with the looming sense of death. He did not budge even with the normal torture techniques used by the interrogator of the rchant guild. If the interrogator the rchant guild cannot make him crack, then almost no one will be able to do so unless they use drugs. Since the dignity and safety of the rchant guild is now involved, they have decided to use the incredibly expensive truth serums.
The first truth serum managed to weaken the mind of the barrier master, but he was still unable to give definite answers. It was like his subconscious is trying to make sure that no information about where he ca from is released. As the rchant guild really needed answers, the second truth serum was used, and the barrier master finally spoke out coherently.
The Vice Leader of the rchant Guild was able to learn that the eastern continent branch of the rchant guild is now compromised. The barrier master said that most of the top officials there have already been replaced by mbers of their organization. They wanted more answers from the barrier master, but he was able to shake off the effects of the truth serum in under ten seconds.
"My mind might have weakened but I will not be subjected to such hypnotics! I am a barrier master! Our kind have always trained our willpower to the utmost because that is what is needed for my profession." The barrier master stated as he is able to resist the spell of the High Wizard Dore.
"So, what is the deal with the gold coin tossing?" Adrian asked.
"Ah! I almost forgot. The hostage was almost killed by a curse technique that strangles their heart as curses are also famous in the eastern continent. The fact that they could still reach him despite him being here in the central continent ans that curse technique user is very powerful.
The gold coins were used by Piggy Bank himself when a helper shaped like a coin appeared before him while the barrier master's heart was being strangled. The helper told Piggy Bank to create a temporary blessed domain using gold coins. We managed to save him from the curse on his heart, but he still refuses to speak." The Vice Leader of the rchant Guild stated.
"Oh! That curse technique user is not in the eastern continent because I can faintly sense the magic being used. It is similar in use to death attribute magic which is why I can slightly sense it. This also ans that we have another potential hostage in this very building. To think that there are still others that work for your organization here!
This also ans that your ti of usefulness is running out. If I find that curse user before you speak up about your organization, then you will have outlived your usefulness. If they were sent here to kill you, should you fail then they know the plans even more. Sirius and Charon, go and fetch that curse user please." Adrian stated as Sirius ca out from his shadow while Charon ca out from the floor.
"If you can guarantee my safety then I will speak all that I know." The barrier master imdiately replied as he could see that the demon before him was not half hearted or playing gas.
"Well then… I hope that you are saying the truth because I will personally cross check with the other captive that will co. The value of your information will be weighed to the value of the information that she will give us. You worked for the rchant guild in the eastern continent so you should know this simple thing as well." Adrian stated with a smile.

The barrier master gulped as the pressure that the demon before him was incredibly powerful. If he was not tied up to the chair right now, then he would have been begging on his feet right now. He even felt like his body is actually frozen solid as the pressure that Adrian was giving off had the sa level of pressure that the Eastern Continent Branch Master was giving.
"I will answer truthfully as long as you swear to let live. I will only agree if we sign a Contract with the god of that fat crying guys over there. I can tell that he is soone blessed by a god." The barrier master stated as he looked at the crying Piggy Bank.
